A ragtag team of wealthy fashion “elites” are reportedly shunning a nonprofit because of the organization’s ties to billionaire real estate developer and philanthropist Stephen M. Ross, who was outed last month as a backer of President Donald Trump’s 2020 reelection campaign. Lying in the Hudson Yards neighborhood of Manhattan is The Shed, a recently opened cultural center run by a nonprofit cultural organization of the same name. Three years ago the organization played a role in “forming a free, citywide residency program for young people.”

Famous fashion icons? Be serious. A.L. Steiner and Zackary Drucker. Prabal Gurung. Rag & Bone. Ever heard of them? Prabal, from some third world country, was a wannabe who got picked up by Mooch Obama. What do they care about free programs for young people? OK. What on earth do we care about A.L., Zack, Prabal and R&B? Buh-bye. (I have a hunch Ross feels the same.)

You know, ''Elites'' has become a dirty word. The left has corrupted the meaning of it, to the point that it connotates rich (or wannabe rich), deranged people who have no common sense. Who would want to be called an elite these days, except people who think they are better than everyone else. I've got news for them...

You can take people out of high school, but you often can’t take the high school mentality out of the people.

The only-democracy-in-the-Middle-East (Israel) is not the only Boycott/Divest/Sanction target of the Left. So are all Americans with the temerity to support conservative political causes. The Left is not at all interested in political dialogue. They want to see their political counterparts utterly devastated.

"Fashion?" More like poor taste, in every way. I've been dressing in "preppie" all my life and it still looks great. Look up what Cary Grant had to say about men's "fashion."

IF...some people decided not to go to an event because it was tied to obama and that was the reason loudly given, the left were would be screaming about it. The non event goers would be labeled " racist "and targeted. Do not let the dems/lefties get away with bullying.

Don't for a moment believe this crap-storm ends in November 2020.

The left has decided that Trump is a Nazi and therefore anyone who supports him is a Nazi. The next step for them is that anyone who associates with a Trump supporter is a Nazi.

I am a Trump supporter who has money to spend on nice clothes. I won't spend a nickel on those fools, as well as the sanctimonious so-and-sos who sneered at the thought of dressing Melania Trump because she was married to our president.
Designers who deliberately run off half of their potential customers deserve to go out of business.
As an aside, I have never been able to bring myself to wear anything that is self-described as "Rag and Bone."
