Justice Clarence Thomas wanted to make sure there was no doubt about the heinous crime of Christopher Lee Price, whose attack on an Alabama minister nearly scalped the man, leaving him to a slow and painful death. In an opinion Monday, Justice Thomas defended the Supreme Court’s decision to approve Price’s execution and blasted fellow Justice Stephen G. Breyer, who had tried to erect roadblocks on the path to the execution chamber last month.

If the usually quiet Thomas is making a ruckus over Breyer´s attempts to whitewash this guy, he must really be offended over this crime. This was a horrible crime and the guy needs to pay the price.

Dr. William Petit still awaits justice for the slaughter of his family in Cheshire, Ct. at the hands of Steven Hayes and Joshua Komisarjefsky.
Laci Peterson;s family still awaits justice for her death and the death of her unborn son at the hands of her husband, Scott Peterson.
Kate Steinle´s family was DENIED justice by a jury of mental incompetents who couldn´t even convict José Inez García Zárate of involuntary manslaughter, let alone 2nd degree murder.
Society deserves to be able to rid itself of human monsters who take other´s lives with seeming impugnity. All of society is at risk because of bleeding-heart liberals.

These liberals would prefer that murderers become wards of the taxpayers, costing us millions of dollars until the murderers die a natural death. Yet, they promote the murder of unborn (and, in some cases, born) children. How twisted can a human mind become?
IMO, when someone murders another person, they lose their own right to life. Living for 28 years after conviction is ridiculous. They should be allowed one appeal, within 30 days, then have the sentence carried out within 24 hours!

Out of the over 3000 inmates on Death Row in the US, roughly 800 are there for a second murder. Let Justice Breyer face the loved ones of those 800 victims before he gives his opinion.

The Death Penalty was enacted for two reasons. One, as the ultimate punishment for the taking of an innocent life, Two as a deterrent to others.
In order to reach either of these goals, execution must be carried out swiftly and publicly.

For a convicted murderer to be on Death Row for more than 2 years is justice denied for the victims and their families.
Why should in most cases, the taxpayer pay for the housing of these murderous thugs sitting in death row until their natural death take them to their eternal punishment?

If the left, which seems now to include the very nuanced Justice Kavanaugh, cannot win by fair and honest debate, they will simply detail their opposition to death.
RBG cannot die soon enough for me.

Dealing death to someone who caused death with malice seems equitable, not extreme.

Everyone on death row should get the same treatment as Timothy McVeigh. Though I still believe that Clinton made sure he was executed quickly before he could spill the beans on John Doe #2.

Dems trying to protect the "right" of heinous prisoners to vote. Bernie just lost another voter.

FTA: Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh defended the delay, saying Texas treated Muslims and Christians one way, allowing them to have a clergy member in the execution chamber, while other faiths could have someone only in the viewing room.
My solution - allow prisoner to have a clergy member of their choice present at their death only if the killer granted his victim the same.

My concern about allowing vicious killers to languish in prison is what happened to the Manson tribe - sentenced to death, death sentence commuted to life in prison, and now the remaining live ones are all trying to get out on parole. Will "life without the possibility of parole" go the same way as the death penalty in a few years?

FTA-"As his execution approached, however, he lodged a challenge, saying injection was too painful for him, violating his constitutional rights against cruel and unusual punishment."
What about the minister you scalped and let die a painful death, you POS?

Here´s a thought, if here illegally & found guilty of murder - have the culprit serve life in prison in his own country. Our prisoners, in some cases, have it better in our jails than they had when living at home.

#6. didn´t y McVeigh decline efforts to appeal?
That, if correct, makes him a teeny-tiny less of a satanic fool.
Kavanaugh seems to be a kind of ´by the book´ justice. I understand and respect that.
Breyer is a damned fool idiot, former staffer for Dead Ted Kennedy. When I watch Breyer on C span, as he debates the law with himself, I feel almost suicidal.

God instituted the death penalty as punishment, and for the good of the people.
His orders for swift execution during Old Testament times make lethal injection look kind by comparison.

Why would they let any clergy of any denomination into the "death chamber"? Murder is about the most unreligious act a human being can perform.
I´ve had it with all these "humane" methods of execution that every convict tries to find a way out of. Want a foolproof method? Let´s go back to hanging!

I think Breyer is right. Since he feels that way, let Judge Breyer take these people home to live with him and his family. Isn’t that just the right thing to do since he wants all of us to do the same?
