How Robert Mueller Failed Us

Original Article

I have from the very beginning been skeptical of special counsel Robert Mueller’s approach of not directly providing accurate, real-time information to the American people about his investigatory progress and conclusions. Sunday’s events strongly confirm my views. Mueller’s nearly two-year news blackout, while inexplicably praised and admired by the news media, has severely harmed justice and democracy. It prevented all of us from knowing and deliberating and making judgments about the facts and circumstances as we considered vital matters that go to the very essence of our government, and invited both Republicans and Democrats to spin

Since nothing bad concerning President Trump was found the fault MUST be Muellers. It has to be. It has to.It couldn´t possibly be that there was nothing to find. That can´t be it. It can´t. This is what happens when you have been fed lies for years .When the news programs you listen to and the papers you read speak and print lies, you believe the lies. Nothing odd about that. But, when the truth does come out it´s very difficult to absorb and you go to pieces.

We were right about Mueller all along. There was no Russian collusion and thus no crime. If there was no crime, there couldn´t be obstruction of justice. So why couldn´t he be honest and just say that?

He made every effort to accomplish what the establishment wanted him to do: either force Trump to resign or find something for the Democrat house to use for an excuse for impeachment. Saying that there MIGHT have been obstruction is the best he could do with his limited capabilities.

The ball in now in Trump´s court, and lets roll!!!

Mueller followed the laws that protect innocent people.

The leftists, like Theodore Boutrous, and Democrats like Adam Schiff, Maxine Waters and Gerry Nadler, do not get to influence the findings and they cannot handle that.

I appears as though to Trump´s enemies, laws mean nothing unless they negatively impact Trump.

The American justice system dictates that the defendant be given the presumption of innocence and requires that the accuser has the burden of proof that wrongdoing was done.

After a lengthy, extensive, expensive investigation Mueller failed to find proof that Trump or his team engaged in collusion with Russia, yet Democrats refuse to accept his findings.

Sorry guys, you just need to suck it up: the laws were followed and Mueller failed to find facts and evidence to support your fantasies.

Ted is a well-known partner in a major law firm, so I guess his article means he doesn´t like the result of the report. The other investigations that had lots of press conferences, etc. also prejudiced not only the accused but a lot of people who were never accused.

Mueller actually stacked the deck with anti Trumpers and it may have been intentional to avoid accusations of prejudice if the report came out the way it did today. Maybe not. He turned out apparently to have more integrity than I expected. I hope my opinion remains this way.

Plenty was leaked and you cite the prosecutions of people for crimes that you know darn well had nothing to do with Trump. You along with all your braindead friends in the press should turn in your credentials because you are nothing even faintly resembling a journalist. Mueller is being celebrated for no leaking and admirable secrecy. But despite his exonerating our president, I still despise him. His police state tactics against Trump associates were truly scary. I feel certain if he had found something...anything...to hurt our president, that special counsel would have leaked like a sieve. The only thing I will give him credit for is that he was honorable enough to not make things up like the rest of the deep state and our officious media. But by not "leaking" that the special counsel wasn´t finding anything, the left and the media were able to spew their lies non-stop, hurting all Americans.

Another Leftist, supposedly a lawyer who ought to know better, who fails to understand how investigations take place. Since we are INNOCENT until PROVEN guilty, all investigatory actions are done non publicly until EVIDENCE is found of a crime. If no evidence is found, the investigation is NOT public.

Theodore is arguing for a trial in the court of public opinion using police state powers to force the collection of information. That is a horrible way to seek justice and any lawyer should KNOW that.

Theodore J. Boutrous Jr is a LA based lawyer that represented CNN´s Jim Acosta when he got his press pass revoked by President Trump. He also represented Daniel Ramirez in 2017 after Ramirez was arrested by ICE agents in Seattle. Ramirez, who came to the USA illegally as a juvenile had been shielded from deportation by Obama´s DACA program. Ramirez admitted having gang ties and had a gang tattoo on his forearm providing grounds for canceling his participation in DACA as a threat to public safety. It appears that Boustrous is no fan of President Trump or if Trump´s quest to stem the flow of illegal immigrants into this country.

The death of Harry Dunn, an English teenager who was killed on August 27 2019, sparked a “bitter diplomatic row” between Great Britain and the United States. At the center of this row is the concept of “diplomatic immunity.” While riding his motorcycle, Dunn was killed in a head on collision with an SUV near RAF Croughton, a military base used by the U.S. Air Force. British police identified the driver as Anne Sacoolas — the wife of an American diplomat — and said that she was driving “on the wrong side of the road” when the collision occurred. The Arkansas Supreme Court on Tuesday ruled that Democrat Jimmie Wilson is ineligible to serve in the state Legislature due to decades-old misdemeanor convictions in federal court, wiping out Wilson's victory at the polls earlier this month in House District 12. Wilson, a former state lawmaker who was convicted of selling mortgaged crops and illegal use of farm loans, had argued that a pardon he received from President Bill Clinton in 2001 removed any barriers to his potential return to the Legislature. Running against Republican David Tollett, Wilson received more than 52% of the vote in the Nov. 3 election. A unanimous decision by the high court, however, held that the pardon

Trump needs to have overwhelming evidence of election fraud, and he needs to bring that evidence to light in very public hearings. Without such evidence, his claims won’t be taken seriously enough—by the press or a sufficient number of the electorate—to ensure a peaceful transition to a second term. The rush job to affirm Biden as president-elect by the media and the Democrat Party is not constitutionally required, and indeed smacks of a kind of desperation to avoid scrutiny. Contrary to their claims, Trump’s thorough investigation of potential large-scale election fraud is fully in accord with the Constitution. As the one in whom executive power is vested,
