On Saturday in Springfield, Missouri, conservatives took back the Republican Party.
Like many other states, Missouri’s America First citizens don’t have a voice in their government. Although they are the super majority in the state, they are not being heard, and what they want for their state is not happening. Even though the GOP runs the state with a huge majority, key conservative policies and beliefs are pushed aside.
Leading up to the event, platform amendments were passed at county and district caucuses to be reviewed by the platform committee and implemented at the convention. The draft presented by the GOP completely ignored every amendment passed and watered down

Georgia police have arrested six squatters who took residence in a half a million dollar home after they stole a neighbor's car.
South Fulton cops busted the squatters at 4300 Caveat Court and recovered the stolen vehicle on Saturday - after they had been illegally lodging in the home for five months.
Video shows cops putting the intruders in handcuffs and sitting them on the sidewalk out side of the home. Mel Keyton, president of Hampton Oaks Homeowners Association, told Atlanta News First the neighbor whose car was stolen was out of town.
'Squatters stole her car and they brought it back over here to drive it in the driveway,' said Keyton.

A vehicle crashed into a White House barricade at high speed on Saturday night, leaving the driver dead, per Secret Service.
According to a statement, a Secret Service investigation is ongoing, but there was no threat to the White House. An investigation into the fatal crash “will be turned over to the Washington Metropolitan Police Department Crash Investigation Unit.”
It is still unclear what caused the car collision.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, another vehicle crashed into the White House gates in January. The driver was taken into custody.

I’m not a great believer in polls, especially right now. I’m sure there is some truth to them, some attempts at accuracy. Pollsters need a modicum of precision or they lose credibility. And if they lose credibility, they lose money. But, at best, I’m suspicious about polls, especially several months before an election, especially since 2016 and 2022. The only poll that will really matter is the one taken on November 5. But currently, just about all the polls indicate that Donald Trump is ahead, and some say by a significant margin, even in most of the so-called “swing states.”

Americans have overwhelmingly voiced who they feel can confidently lead the United States back to health— and it’s not good news for Democrats.
A new Economist/YouGov pollfound that the majority of Americans believe former President Donald Trump is a strong leader the U.S. needs, while President Joe Biden is one of the weakest presidents they have seen. Fifty-eight percent of respondents view Trump as the most robust presidential candidate, while 35 percent see him as “very strong.”

Eloy Alberto Zayas-Berrier was part of the infamous Mariel boatlift that brought 125,000 Cubans, including criminals and mental hospital patients, to the U.S. in 1980.
He’s been in the U.S. ever since in a bizarre legal limbo. He can’t qualify for citizenship and Cuba has refused to take him back, so he’s been stuck on “parole.” He remains here with only the barest of legal protections and cannot get a green card. He is decidedly not a citizen.
That did not, however, stop him from showing up at an early-voting location in North Carolina on Nov. 5, 2016, where he not only registered and claimed to be a citizen, but also

Arne Duncan, former President Barack Obama’s Secretary of Education, was photographed at an anti-Israel encampment next to a Chicago alderman who has received criticism for speaking in front of a burned American flag.
In a post on social media from the Coalition of Progressive Staffers from the Mayor’s Office and the Chicago city council, Duncan was seen standing next to Alderman Byron Sigcho-Lopez, who represents Chicago’s 25th ward, at an anti-Israel encampment at the University of Chicago. Sigcho-Lopez was seen speaking at the encampment at the university on Monday. Sigcho-Lopez has previously faced criticism from several Chicago aldermen and veterans after he was captured on video speaking at a rally

Special Counsel Jack Smith on Friday evening responded to Trump’s co-defendant Walt Nauta’s motion to extend a deadline for disclosures in the classified documents case.
Recall that Walt Nauta, a former White House employee and Navy veteran who worked valet for Trump and served as a personal staffer at Mar-a-Lago was indicted along with Trump last year.
In a motion filed late Friday, Jack Smith admitted the FBI messed with the boxes containing “classified” documents they seized from Trump and can’t be sure the order or the placement of the documents.
In a May 1 filing, Walt Nauta’s attorney claimed he had difficulty in cross-referencing materials in classified and unclassified discovery because

Despite residents fleeing Massachusetts, Democrat Gov. Maura Healey (D-MA) signed a bill welcoming hundreds more of illegal immigrants into her state.
Healey signed the state budget this week that includes an additional $426 million to house illegal aliens in correspondence to the state’s “right to shelter” law that requires the government to put illegal immigrants and homeless people into homes. (Snip) According to a report, Massachusetts currently has more than one million illegal aliens residing in the state. It is expected to cost taxpayers over one billion dollars by 2025 to house them.
This number doesn’t include the 14,000 illegal Haitian immigrants Massachusetts has funded since 2022.

On Saturday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “The Weekend,” Biden 2024 Principal Deputy Campaign Manager Quentin Fulks stated that President Joe Biden will not accept violence or antisemitism and “believes in what these protesters are saying and he is working to bring peace to the Middle East and bring the situation to a close.”
Fulks said, “[W]hen it comes to this issue, I think it’s important to call out that the president has said, as you said, that he believes in the right for peaceful protest, but that political violence, antisemitism [are] not going to be accepted. The other piece here is that the president believes in what these protesters are saying

London Mayor Sadiq Khan has been reelected for a third term in the United Kingdom's capital city.
Khan defeated conservative mayoral candidate Susan Hall with an estimated 45.3 percent of the vote. The newly reelected mayor was roundly booed at his victory presser. “Khan killed London," one heckler shouted. But Mayor Khan, who is a member of the Labour Party, was unfazed.
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart, thank you, London,” he responded amid the boos.
