Special counsel Robert Mueller is asking a federal court in Virginia for 100 blank subpoenas in the case against former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort. The request was made in a filing on Wednesday. The subpoenas would require their recipients to testify in the U.S. District Court in Alexandria on July 25, when Manafort´s trial in Virginia is set to begin. No further information was provided in the filing, and a spokesman for the special counsel declined to comment on the request. The request comes roughly a month after Mueller filed a request for 150 blank subpoenas. Manafort is facing numerous charges, including tax

Something like this should never be allowed. Make the jerk present his case first, and make him file charges. Then you question witnesses, and get their statements.

“Mueller´s team is investigating possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, as well as any other alleged crimes that may arise during the course of the probe.”

AG Sessions has turned the DoJ upside down with his bizarre recusal. Mueller is now co-Attorney General with Rod Rosenstein because Sessions has washed his hands, Pilate like, from all Obama and Hillary corruption because such corruption is somehow, someway, linked to Russian collusion with Trump. Would not be surprised if Obama’s corrupt AGs, Holder and Lynch, are advising Mueller, Rosenstein and sadly, Sessions.

I don´t care a whit about what Manafort did in 2006, and would rather not spend millions prosecuting it. Even if Manafort has done anything wrong, a plea deal would have been reached by now, in normal circumstances. But Mueller does not care about Manafort, he wants him to lie about Trump, since Manafort worked 2 months in Trump´s campaign ---really, Manafort must know a lot from that 2 months, not. So, as a stay at home juror, and what I see here, I would rather hang Mueller, than Manafort, for all the grief Mueller has put our nation through.

Jerry Nadler appeared to have the best of intentions when he begged his congressional colleagues to tiptoe around Peter Strzok’s mortifying extramarital affair. “You have to treat him and any witness before this committee with respect,” the New York Democrat warned at the beginning of Thursday’s crud-pit of a congressional hearing. “Questions like ‘Do you love Lisa Page?’ are not relevant.” Presumably, this was an attempt to bring dignity to the House Oversight Committee inquiry into whether the FBI employees conspired to keep Donald Trump from the presidency. But — of course questions like that are relevant.

It´s often been observed that special counsel Robert Mueller, assigned to investigate alleged Trump-Russia collusion in the 2016 presidential campaign, has yet to charge anyone with a crime involving Trump-Russia collusion in the 2016 presidential campaign. The biggest of Mueller´s indictments, that of one-time Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, has no connection at all to collusion. And until a few days ago, it appeared to have no connection to Donald Trump, either. Now, though, Mueller has revealed why he believes the Manafort prosecution is related to the 2016 Trump campaign.
