Peter Strzok faces the music
Washington Examiner [DC], by Kelly Cohen

FBI counterintelligence agent Peter Strzok will face hostile questions from Republicans on Thursday when he appears before the House Judiciary and Oversight committees for a public hearing. In his first public hearing since the Department of Justice inspector general released a report outlining his anti-Trump texts to his FBI lawyer mistress, GOP lawmakers will be looking hard for signs that Strzok´s bias swayed decisions he made in the FBI’s investigations of Hillary Clinton and then-candidate Donald Trump. The IG report acknowledged his bias and other biases in the FBI, but said none of them had an impact on the outcome of either

Faces the music, huh? He walked into that building with a smug expression on his face likes he knows the fix is in. I´m sure there´ll be a lot of noise, but they won´t do a thing to him. I think the people will end up having to do it.

Strzok is an arrogant, over-reaching, overpaid goobermint parasite, just like Lois Lerner. Who knows how many thousands like them inhabit Beltway cubicles, anonymous and undetected in their crimes. Lerner, and now Strzok and his fugly girlfriend are the faces of your feddrill goobermint. How do you like it?

So far, we L-Dotters are in accord, I fear the lout Strzok will receive zero punishment for actively and his on the job attempt to interfere in a federal election. When he failed at that, he continued to try and undermine a sitting President. This is the very definition of sedition which was a hangable offense in the not too distant past.

As far as his smug attitude goes, Strzok acts as if he believes that the President will be gone sooner rather than later and that his world will return to normal when that happens. Like most in the democrat party they believe they have the power to restore their corrupt anti-America utopia in the making. They are fools because just as they underestimated the American people’s determination to defeat the progressive scourge that is permeating our society, they underestimate American resolve to deny them power ever again.

While I question the resolve of the Republican Party to bring these arrogant knaves to justice, it must be done in order to preserve the Republic and the rule of law. This democrat chicanery must end. Therefore, we must have men and women of determination and integrity who will not rest until the guilty are punished.

Strzok was the head of counterintelligence. The FBI is so afraid of him, and what he knows, that they have a lawyer following his every step. We are going to see about a 6 hour hearing. The Democrats are going to do nothing but thank him for his service. That leaves the Republicans 3 hours, most of which will be speeches, so we get an hour and a half of actual questions to Strzok. That is not very satisfactory for a man that has headed the Clinton investigation, then participated in an attempted overthrow of the POTUS.

The Examiner reporter is flat out wrong.
Strzok was biased, but the IG could find no (concrete) evidence that the bias influenced his actions.
We are living in an era where bias, no matter how insignificant, is used as proof of racism, sexism, alphabet pervert hatred and the like.
Yet the democrats turn their heads at the sign of real bias.
Sessions could grant full immunity to the adulterous FBI pigs, to get to the truth.
I would support that.

As #2 states, we have Congress doing the job of the executive (law enforcement) branch...we have the judiciary doing the job of the Congress in making law...we have the executive (law enforcement) branch hauled up before both other branches to explain its misdeeds.

It´s easy to say that DC is a screwed up place but it´s even worse when you consider their day-to-day activities and realize that they gleefully erase any separation of power and do what they like when they like.

Not one thing will happen to Strzok if he refuses to appear or if he pulls down his pants and moons the committee. He will go to any judge in DC and get any indictment, arrest, contempt charge immediately overturned, dismissed, etc.

Kids, Congress is NO LONGER separate but equal. Congress is separate and IRRELEVANT by their own design for almost half a century. When there are only exactly TWO out of 535 Representatives and Senators fulfilling their oath while members of their own party (Gowdy, the full of fury-signifying nothing theater actor included) are helping the deep state destroy those two men, the Page´s and Strzok´s get to openly flip them all off and get rewarded for it. Have you not yet figured that out? Are you still believing we live in a representative republic? If so, please pet your purple unicorn for me.

Fascinating day! Watching on Fox. Strzok is a decidedly nasty-looking guy. Sheila Jackson-Lee, strutting her usual misguided and ignorant hubris, just led Strzok to open up answers to questions on the Russia collusion investigation which he’s previously said he could not answer on advice and instruction from FBI lawyer. Goodlatte nailed him and put him on notice that there would be a LOT of questons after the break - not on the substance of the investigation, but on the FBI conduct of their part of the investigation. Kaboom. Strzok stupidly fell into Lee’s unwitting trap and is now in the Republican members’ of the committee’s crosshairs. He has now set a precedent about answering questions. Stay tuned.

The question came in the aftermath of the surprise presidential election victory by political newcomer and television reality star Donald Trump. Obama wasn´t only wrong in understanding where the electorate was in 2016 but was frequently wrong throughout his presidency. That is, Moscow and Washington will together investigate whether Russian agents were responsible for hacking the DNC computers, as a US prosecutor answerable to Trump alleged late last week. They’ll find who’s responsible for other election shenanigans, which Trump’s top intel officials believe to be Russia’s handiwork. A video has emerged showing Melania Trump apparently looking horrified after shaking Vladimir Putin´s hand during her husband´s summit with the Russian president. Putin can be seen smiling and nodding in the clip as he is introduced to Melania by President Trump in Helsinki, Finland on Monday. Melania, who is a few inches taller than the ex-spy strongman, also smiles during the handshake in an apparently natural way. (Video/Photos) But as soon as Putin releases her hand and diverts his attention elsewhere, Melania pulls a bizarre face representing what appears to be her shock or horror. She widens her eyes

The Democratic former U.S. president did not name his Republican successor, Donald Trump, but the speech was among the most pointed comments he has made about politics since leaving office in January 2017.

If there´s anything that lays out how arrogant and entitled the Democratic Party is, take a look at how many Democratic grandees´ feathers are being ruffled by Democratic Socialist "it girl" Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who defeated a ten-term Democratic incumbent in their Bronx-Queens congressional district earlier this month and who now outshines them all. It´s not that her socialism or her ignorance of world affairs bothers them, the way it does us. It´s that she´s showing bad machine politics sense, the one thing that keeps Democrats going in the absence of being able to admit they actually are all a bunch
