With all odds against them, here´s how rescuers
pulled off ´miracle´ Thai cave mission

ABC News, by Bill Hutchinson

The steel air tanks glittered under the beams of floodlights as a pair of rescuers defogged their masks and adjusted the straps. They checked their regulators one last time before embarking on what would become their most famous dive. In the jubilant aftermath of the successful rescues of 12 boys and their soccer coach, the Royal Thai Navy SEALs posted a video on Facebook Wednesday showing the miraculous mission as it unfolded over three days deep in the Tham Luang Nang Non cave in northern Thailand. The first diver wearing a helmet to avoid smashing his head against the mostly

Why put the word “miracle“ in quotation marks? It really was a divine miracle. Non-believers are saying that it was only the expertise and talent of the rescuers, but where were those people getting their talent and expertise? Every tiny detail of this rescue fell into place as though with a divine hand.

This might be an insensitive thing to say. We are seeing this through a media filter. God may have been involved in the rescue, but doesn´t it seem that the media might be over dramatizing this?

Many people were moved to pray for these kids. I am thankful but not surprised that God heard our prayers and had mercy on them. Praise the Lord.

Believers prayed for a miracle. There was a miracle. Case closed. Nonbelievers may have prayed as well, we know not to whom.

The article is well worth reading.

Multiple miracles happened in this recovery and that is NOT an over dramatization,#2.

Cultures, religions, languages, sacrifice and donation of resources combine in a perfect storm and the boys and the coach were saved.

The boys also plan to spend time as monks in a monastery to offer prayers of thanks that they survived.

Buddhists teaching Christians to live their faith is among the miracles and lessons.

Cave diving is a nerve-wracking and terrifying thing even if you are only in a few hundred feet and have backup equipment and safety lines. Three miles of dark and barely passable caverns is unimaginable unless you´ve been there. Sedating the boys was a necessity as panic and death would have been guaranteed since none of them were trained. It was indeed a miracle.

Let´s not forget that the soccer team was discovered by accident by two British divers exploring the cave. If not for that, those boys would still be there and starved to death.

Why is miracle in quotes, you ask? I trust the question is rhetorical, as we´ve all seen how the enemedia have progressively (pun not originally intended) marginalized faith into some sort of theoretical construct that has no reality to it.

But they´ll never put a fraudulent thing like "sex change" into quotes. Nor "progressive", nor "democratic" (both of which are also gross misnomers).

This article is most informative. Absolutely amazing story. My thanks to OP for finding and sharing it with us.

For me the overriding lesson in this ordeal and miraculous rescue is at the end of Hutchinson´s piece: "...(T)he success had everything to do with an international team effort that included the ´great divers from the world´ and showed what people from different countries and cultures can accomplish when they work together for a single purpose."

Amen to that. It helps when we realize that, at least with most of humanity, there is nobility in the human spirit, and it´s widespread. There is much that can unite humanity. Witness what just happened.

Democrats are trying out several themes against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, so far with a notable lack of success. One frequent attack is that President Trump appointed Judge Kavanaugh to save him in a constitutional showdown with special counsel Robert Mueller. Adam Schiff, the Democratic answer to Republican Louie Gohmert, said on CNN: “Can the President pardon himself? Can the President pardon his own family? Can the President be held liable for obstruction of justice or is he essentially, as [Rudy] Giuliani and others argue, above the law because he is the law and he can’t be held to be

On Friday — three days before today’s summit meeting between President Trump and Russian President Putin — the boss of Team Mueller, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, announced that a dozen Russian intelligence officers had been indicted on charges relating to Russia’s attempt to interfere in the 2016 election. These Potemkin indictments could have been announced a month earlier or a month later. Instead they were obviously timed and intended to have an effect on the Trump-Putin meeting. Mueller has no business playing around with foreign policy. The Friday indictments were a truly despicable abuse of power. Last February, Mueller conducted a

Hamas’ recent tactic of launching fire kites and balloons over the border from Gaza marks something new: ecological war. Why aren’t the world’s greens screaming at this “assault on the planet”? Since the end of March, Hamas-spurred terrorists have flown hundreds of Molotov cocktails and improvised firebombs into Israel, setting aflame thousands of acres of farmland, forests and nature preserves. The damage to Israeli agriculture is said to be in the millions, and a drop in tourism dollars compounds that. The cost of fighting the fires, too, is enormous, not to mention the stress on locals.

Only hours before, President Donald Trump repeated his favorite mantra, calling the investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller a “rigged witch hunt.” Trump always has been wrong about the Mueller investigation, which many supported after he fired then-FBI Director James Comey.
