After a day filled with tension and fissures in the powerful NATO military alliance, President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump gabbed with their counterparts at a cocktail party with a jazz band. The pair arrived at a cocktail party with fellow world leaders and spouses at Cinquantenaire, a park designed in the 19th century. The first lady wore a $7,450 Elie Saab white patterned dress, changing out of a navy blue dress by Belgian designer Raf Simmons for Calvin Klein. (Photos/Video) Trump could be seen gesticulating as he spoke with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, whom he complimented earlier

Did I read somewhere that Merkel is a pastor´s daughter. That makes her a PK! I don´t expect she has the respect in Germany she´d get in the US. You just have to mention you are a PK or an MK (missionary) and people will cut you more slack. One MK told me that their home church would send them raggedy clothes and also used tea bags, figuring there´s be one more cup left in them!

Having a gracious wife who can converse with world leaders (& their spouses) in their native tongue is a big plus.
The French president´s wife is always stylishly dressed also.

Melania is a Star at events such as this one. She speaks five languages, so she is able to fluently converse with anyone at these events. As always, she looked Beautiful. I notice The President is much more attentive to her when they are at events.

Former first lady Michelle Obama reportedly angered liberals and earned the mockery of conservatives by launching a “strictly nonpartisan” voter registration campaign where she and other “celebrities” will urge Americans to vote in the November 2018 midterm elections. The campaign, called “When We All Vote,” launches today. The initiative will feature Mrs. Obama in a series of public service announcements, rallies, and other live events across the country, Politico reported. The program has a budget of $8 million. House Democrats revealed their new slogan for the upcoming 2018 elections, but whoever was behind it probably forgot to check that it’s identical to the one used by a used car dealership in Texas and a personal injury law firm in Florida. The motto, “For the People,” debuted at a private meeting with members Wednesday, according to Politico. Yet Democrats probably won’t like to know that their new message for American voters is the same used by some of the sleaziest businesses in the country, namely used car dealers and ambulance chasers. President Obama is in South Africa for a speech, and somehow, in the speech he gave, he showed himself to be so clueless about that the ´strongman´ he warned about, that he never realized he described how he ran the U.S. for eight years. Here is what CNN reported: Obama warns against ´strongman politics´ in speech after Trump news conference. Former US President Barack Obama mounted a passionate defense of democracy and warned against the rise of "strongman politics," Obama criticized populist movements toward authoritarianism around the world and ridiculed the "utter loss of shame among political leaders" who lie.
