The Service Employees International Union (SEIU) is blistering at a proposed regulation that would prevent the union from siphoning fees from American workers’ Medicaid payments. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services announced a proposed rule Tuesday that would require Medicaid payments to go directly to healthcare workers, ending a 2014 Obama-era rule that let third parties, such as unions and insurance companies, skim off a share of the paycheck before the worker saw any of it. He´s already a great president and is only getting better.

The Dems are totally flummoxed.

Please indulge a double post for this topic.

In 2000 I needed to find work. I was hoping for something different than government, but I had been a legislative analyst for the City of LA and there was an opening for an analyst with the County of Mendocino. I would help implement a new program enhancing the in-home services to the homebound frail elderly and disabled. So, for being at Social Services at least working with those who really needed government assistance was legitimate. I soon began calling the place “Socialist Services.”

Everybody wants family taking care of family. For the poor it’s a terrible double-bind. They still need to pay the rent and buy food, which requires then hiring someone to provide care while they work which takes the rest of their paycheck. If the family meets the income limit the county/state would pay the outside person to do the home care while the family member worked, worrying about what was happening at home. Families wanted the state to pay them for the 8 hours caregiving given by an outsider so they could stay home and the household would actually have a little more money. It was going well until the SEIU got involved and began organizing the in-home workers.

The percentage of non-family members providing home care as a job is about 30%, usually providing the extra assistance needed for bedbound cases. It is a transitory job with incredibly high turnover. In California the SEIU led a county-by-county effort convincing Boards of Supervisors that this “special” labor pool needed “special” organizing standards, such as the percentage needed to approve unionization. In Mendocino that number was set at approval by only 13% of the total number of workers.

When our family care givers began getting SEIU mailers they threw them away. They weren’t interested in being unionized, they were caring for their loved one. The SEIU’s real target were the small percentage of the non-family caregivers that were long-term and reliable providers. These are good people with minimal skills, truly caring about their clients and they weren’t interested in unionization either. It was a disgusting process to witness unfold.

The SEIU lied to the clients, the families and the providers. They seduced and groomed the most unsophisticated and simple of our caregivers. When the SEIU propaganda began showing up in our families’ mail boxes I got a few calls, but I knew most were just being thrown away and they had no idea what was happening. I prepared a letter for my director explaining the unionization effort, in my best, broadest bureaucraticese trying to warn these people that if they were against the union they needed to actively vote “no.” I was told that the county could not send out anything or say anything having to do with the SEIU efforts. I had to watch it all happen, unable to do anything but quietly try to warn as many as I could.

For seven years I watched disaster unfold in an untold number of lives and families. I was at the post-unionization meeting when Lionel Freedman (SEIU-LA) came and tripped the trap. I saw the stunned faces of people who had their years of good work stolen from them as they watched the arrogant thief walk out of the room.

MAGA – Crush the SEIU

He said it takes 5 years to fire them and then they go to the Union and get their jobs back. I worked with some of the nastiest most incompetent people I have ever met. The creepiest witness to ever grace a Congressional hearing, minced in his seat and evaded questions for hours on end Thursday. His name? Peter Strzok (pronounced “Struck” for the Democrats on the committee who kept mispronouncing it). The general impression from his testimony? What a complete weirdo. It is astonishing that someone so strange, supercilious and seemingly evil reached so high a position in law enforcement. Congressional hearings are always obnoxious but usually it’s the Congressmen and women who are weird, unprofessional, and nonsensical (and there was plenty of that) but they all were upstaged by

I’ve seen President Clinton deny he had a relationship with “that woman, Miss Lewinsky.” I’ve seen President Obama assure people they will get to keep their doctor under ObamaCare. And I’ve seen former press secretary Sean Spicer declare that President Trump’s inaugural crowd was larger than Obama’s. But these falsehoods pale in comparison to the performances of a series of “deep state” witnesses who have combined chutzpah with balderdash, culminating so far in the testimony of FBI agent Peter Strzok. Let’s review just some of the highlights.

There is some very wise political advice in a popular song these days: “Oh baby, why don’t you just meet me in the middle?” America is not a country of the right or the left but a country squarely in the middle and, yet, our clickbait-driven world has suffocated the true majority of the country. The song goes on: “Of just how we got into this mess, got so aggressive. I know we meant all good intentions.” With shrill rallies on the steps of the Supreme Court protesting nominations before they are even made, our politics is becoming almost a caricature

This made clear that protesters couldn´t have cared less about the personnel, just that Donald Trump would be signing

The best argument for the necessity of constitutional originalists on the Supreme Court is right before our eyes. You can see it in the news, in our political discourse; you hear the shrieks of it everywhere: It’s the hysteria of the American left over the loss of power over the nation’s highest court. And now they’ve finally become quite unhinged. President Donald Trump’s nomination of conservative judge Brett Kavanaugh has pushed them over the edge. Not all liberals are hysterical. Some are trying to be intellectually honest, in thanking those most responsible for Trump being able to shape the court:

Even before President Trump chose Brett Kavanaugh to replace Justice Anthony Kennedy on the Supreme Court, political henchmen and media hacks began rummaging through his record like so many rats in a ripe dumpster. Their sojourn in the slime revealed nothing more sinister than a conscientious jurist who has actually read the Constitution. To their dismay, his most notable opinion as a judge on the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals suggests that he’ll vote to strike down Obamacare’s individual mandate, as well as its guaranteed issue and community rating provisions, when Texas v. Meanwhile, illegal aliens arriving in America have no such requirement. Instead, trespassing tribes relocate, and when they do, rather than assimilate, they transfer habits and activities indigenous to the countries from whence they migrated. Thus, Americans suffer from illnesses that are easily traceable to third-world bathroom habits (TWBH) and lack of hygiene in the developing world.
