How Perkins Coie Plan to
Get Congressman Jim Jordan

American Spectator, by R. Emmett Tyrrell, Jr.

Washington- Have you been keeping up with the charges against Congressman Jim Jordan? They first wafted from the swamp around July 3 when NBC News quoted three former wrestlers as saying the congressman had to know about “inappropriate” behavior by an Ohio State University team physician towards some Ohio State wrestlers. The “inappropriate” behavior supposedly occurred 30 years ago. Yes, I said 30 years ago. That was when Jordan, a former two-time NCAA champion, was an assistant wrestling coach at Ohio State, and, oh yes, he was in his early 20s. Do you know how much standing an assistant coach had attained

Obviously the wrestlers knew about the coach. Did any of them say anything about the coach at that time?

Of course we know of Perkins Coie . Let us know how Ohio state goes to Seattle to get this law firm? No good law firms in Ohio? Ohio state and whoever hired the law firm should be the first investigation. Then look for the dnc fingerprints on it.

I do think the left jumped the shark even before the Jordan accusation. It has become laughable and predictable that the left will make things up in their desperation to harm the Republican Party and conservatives. They hold nothing sacred. 30-year-old accusations without a shred of proof is their stock in trade. But everybody now knows that they are lying.

Yep. Another example of the threat that the establishment feels at the prospect of Jordan ascending to Speaker. Gotta take this guy down, whatever it takes. A couple of his accusers have legal (thus credibility) problems of their own. One served prison time for a fraud scheme, another faces a defamation lawsuit.

Not to be sexist, but these weren´t teenage girls trying to make a gymnastics team where you are evaluated on a subjective basis, creating a degree of insecurity. These were the best of the best wrestlers, recruited to grapple at one of the NCAA wrestling powers in the Country. They were young men, 18-23 years old, in their prime, physically, mentally and at the height of their self-confidence. Their abilities were marked as "VICTORIES", put up on the scoreboard for all to see. They were and most likely still are Type A personalities. Aggressive, self-assured and ready to meet their problems and challenges directly. Under this scenario, I don´t see how they could be "victims", trotted out 30 years later to be felt sorry for. These were the guys who stomped people at college parties afterall.

Here´s what I have to believe;

Adult male super fit wrestlers, who, in order to win, have to be tough and extremely aggressive, allowed a team doctor to openly fondle them in private and in the locker room showers. THEN, the ONLY thing all of these wrestlers did about it for FOUR YEARS was loudly complain about their sexual abuse within earshot of Jim Jordan, who did nothing to save them from the pervert doctor. So, THIRTY YEARS later, these former, super fit adult males blame Jordan for their mental scars and all the choices they´ve made since leaving college because Jordan, being a Republican, purposely wanted seven wrestlers to be sexually abused against their will and against their physical capabilities to NOT be sexually abused. THIS is a credible story over the known and proven fairy tale that resulted in a FISA warrant specifically designed to illegally remove a duly elected president? THIS is a credible story over the four federal felonies committed by Hillary, detailed by Comey at his July, 2016 presser? It requires a nation so utterly stupid that a deep state easily uses that stupidity for its own advantage and reward with the open and brazen GOP helping that deep state.

Wasn´t Perkins Coie the funnel used for the millions paid by the Clinton campaign to GPS Fusion for the Russian dossier? Is is typical for OSU to hire a Seattle law firm to investigate this matter? Who choose Perkins Coie and why was it chosen? (OSU is likely to lose a lot of donations over the choice.)

How can grown alpha males claim to have been victims? I think the truth here, besides the obvious deliberate smear of Jordan, is that the doctor´s proclivities were a joke to the wrestlers at the time, and that Jim Jordan was such an all business no nonsense type of guy, no one thought to let him in on the joke. Also, as an assistant coach, Jordan likely didn´t spend much time in the locker room where all the banter took place.

I am still laughing at how utterly ridiculous this whole thing is. When I was in school we had a similar doctor who no matter what always felt the need to put his hand under your stuff and tell you to cough... said he was checking for a hernia. Maybe it was standard training for school doctors back then. Of course this was Junior high and we weren´t adults on the wrestling team. Yeah we all joked about it but never reported it and although we weren´t adults or jocks if any of us felt threatened we still would have decked him first. As I remember most of the guys were either handling it themselves or trying to get someone else too... this is a farce.

At a recent speech in South Africa, former President Barack Obama criticized wealth inequality, saying those who have more money should share their earnings with the less fortunate. “Right now, I’m actually surprised by how much money I got,” Obama said of the more than $20 million he earned between 2005 and 2016. President Trump did the right thing by finally rejecting Vladimir Putin’s outrageous proposal to let his intelligence goons question US citizens, including a former ambassador to Moscow. Let’s hope he truly understands how unacceptable the idea is. White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders Thursday claimed Putin had made the proposal “in all sincerity.” Nonsense: He made it as payback for special counsel Robert Mueller’s indictment of 12 Russian intel officers for trying to influence the 2016 presidential election. And because he’s intent on punishing those responsible for the 2012 Magnitsky Act, which can be used to sanction human-rights violators — and which

WASHINGTON — Anonymous evaluations of professors by their students can be caustic or catty. But they are also unfailingly candid, and collectively they paint a revealing picture of a teacher’s strengths and weaknesses. Over the last decade, about 350 law students at Harvard, Yale and Georgetown expressed views on classes offered by Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh, President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee. With rare exceptions, they praised his mastery of legal materials, intellectual rigor, fair-mindedness and accessibility. “I honestly believe I took a class that was instructed by a future Supreme Court justice,” a Georgetown student wrote in 2007.

In an era when the Soviet Union and the Warsaw Pact are now ancient history, everyone praises NATO as “indispensable” and “essential” to Western solidarity and European security. You can acknowledge that President Trump gave an embarrassingly weak performance at the press conference following his face-to-face meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, while rejecting the media’s weird preoccupation that Trump didn’t publicly insult Putin to his face. In 2018, every day goes down as a bad day if Trump didn’t use it to condemn Russia for interfering with the 2016 election. If you didn’t watch the conference live on Monday and instead only saw the media’s coverage of it, you’re forgiven for maybe falling under the impression that Trump disowned the U.S. intelligence community and pledged allegiance to Putin.

Since her surprise primary victory over 10-term Congressman Joe Crowley in New York’s 14th District, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been promoted by the media as the prototype of a new generation of young progressives destined to replace the leadership of the Democratic Party. Unfortunately for her media boosters, however, she keeps blowing her lines. It’s not just her rote advocacy of single-payer healthcare and guaranteed government jobs, or even that she backs wacky ideas like abolishing ICE and occupying airports — Ocasio-Cortez is genuinely clueless. Rep. Maxine Waters warned supporters on Wednesday of potential "armed protests" against her after an extremist group called for ongoing demonstrations outside her office in Los Angeles. In a lengthy statement issued late Wednesday, Waters, D-Calif., said she’d been notified about forthcoming protests by the Oath Keepers, which she described as "an anti-government militia" that´s staged armed protests in cities across the country. Email Scandal: Last week we learned that a "foreign entity" may have been secretly receiving Hillary Clinton´s emails while she was Secretary of State, including many that contained classified information. And that the FBI apparently ignored this information during its "investigation." The reaction by the press to this bombshell? Crickets. At one point during Peter Strzok´s congressional testimony last week, Rep. Louie Gohmert made a stunning claim: FBI investigators were told that Clinton´s emails had been surreptitiously forwarded to a "foreign entity." In a private meeting Wednesday, House Democrats announced that they will be employing the new slogan “For the People” in the 2018 midterm elections. “We have 110 days from right now until Election Day and we will be spending the month of August in our home districts and we wanted to make sure we are singing from the same song sheet on the three top issues,” Rep. Cheri Bustos (D-IL), co-chair of House Democrats’ messaging arm, told Politico. The new slogan will accompany a focus on
