Schumer complains Trump did not consult
him on his Supreme Court pick

Hours before President Trump was to name his second Supreme Court Justice nominee, Sen. Chuck Schumer was whining on the Senate floor. The Senate Minority Leader had his feelings hurt because Trump had not consulted him – or any Democrats – in his Supreme Court pick. (Video) “In the old days, the president would consult with Republicans and Democrats in the Senate on a qualified judge and then after careful deliberation, nominate a jurist that could get bipartisan support,” the New York Democrat said. “What we have here is the exact opposite,” he added. “The president has gone to two

This is, of course, a lie. I distinctly recall the articles that said POTUS contacted Schumer to discuss the pick, but Schmucky only wanted to whine about Merrick Garland, so POTUS ended the call. He had his chance and he blew it with unserious behavior. Quit whining.

Chuck, you can´t read?

He gave you a list of 25 candidates he´d nominate.

If you can´t read them, you may need one of your assistants to read the list to you.

So, of that list of 25, which would you nominate for bipartisan support?

Chuckie´s a vile little creature. He´s the one who started the filibuster against Miguel Estrada. He slandered Judge Pickering and was called out on it by none other than Mike Wallace. He even led what was characterized as a lynch mob against Janice Rodgers Brown. I don´t think Trump cares about his opinion.

One of the BEST things about Trump is that he doesn´t waste his time trying to deal with dems. It is ALWAYS a waste of time. Their idea of discussing things is for you to capitulate to their demands. No matter what, they will leak a distorted version of what was said, freely lying. The most successful discussion to have with dems is to have none. Luckily, at this point it just highlights how powerless they are.

The disgraceful, frenzied reaction to President Trump´s press conference with Vladimir Putin on Monday would be hilarious if it were not so deadly serious. There is an American besides President Donald Trump who was privy to the two-hour private meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin – a government translator who sat in on the entire meeting. Marina Gross, a State Department translator, was pictured along with Trump, Putin, and Putin´s translator at their Helsinki summit. Interest in her role has only grown, after furious critics accused Trump of ´treason´ for failing to push Putin publicly in any way at their Helsinki summit. It was after that meeting that Trump emerged only to engage in a disastrous press conference where he took Putin´s denial of election interference over

There are all sorts of aspects to the Trump-Russia affair, but in light of special counsel Robert Mueller´s decision to indict 12 Russian intelligence agents on the Friday before the Monday summit, the president also knew reporters would want to hear him specifically affirm
