Will Trump Be Meeting With
His Counterpart — Or His Handler?

New York Magazine, by Jonathan Chait

On June 14, 2016, the Washington Post reported that Russian hackers had broken into the Democratic National Committee’s files and gained access to its research on Donald Trump. A political world already numbed by Trump’s astonishing rise barely took notice. News reports quoted experts who suggested the Russians merely wanted more information about Trump to inform their foreign-policy dealings. By that point, Russia was already broadcasting its strong preference for Trump through the media. Yet when news of the hacking broke, nobody raised the faintest suspicions that Russia wished to alter the outcome of the election, let alone that Trump

I´m still waiting - - and waiting and waiting - - for someone - - anyone - - to produce any scrap of actual evidence that the Russky government "meddled" in our election.

Where is the evidence? What did they actually do? Can anyone show me anything which amounts to "meddling" which disrupted our election?

Hello - - anyone?

A lifetime of dim support ignored, now the spectre of non-existent support for Trump has dominated the left-wing media for almost two years.

That´s some kinda projection, fer sure.

Liberalism truly is a mental illness. Chait´s view, sans any evidence, is pure delusion. The full force of the federal government has been turned lose on the idea that Trump had any connection to Russian interference in this Country. THEY FOUND NOTHING! Mueller, currently looking incompetent, would desperately grab the smallest crumb of a suspicion. He has nothing.

The liberals spewing this garbage are astonishing. Trump´s Handler? HIS HANDLER? Just pure craziness! The dems seem to think that they can message nutty ideas into reality if they are willing to ride the crazy train long enough.

Whatever the left says or claims, the truth is usually 180 degrees in the other direction. If they aren´t projecting, they are outright lying.

Russia has been infiltrating and meddling in our political affairs for a century, supporting leftist candidates, placing communist supporters in positions of power, stirring up protests. The MSM never showed the slightest interest in reporting any of this. The Venona Project? Never heard of it.

Actually, and let´s be truthful WaPo, it was Amwan that has broken into the DNC files, has all of them, and the files of 40 Democrat Congress members. Amwan has copied all those files, including to the cloud, and has sent them to Pakistan, and maybe even Wikileaks. No one knows for sure where all that data went, because the Democrats don´t want to know -- or at least for you to know. In future NY Magazine, I suggest you look to other sources beyond WaPo to learn the truth.

They didn´t hack the DNC files, John Podesta clicked on a phishing link and opened up the files to the party, not sure who that was since they didn´t allow the FBI to investigate their server but outsourced it to another private company to ensure they had damage control and message control with the media.

This is what people see as lazy and poor journalism, and leans into fake news.

It´s often been observed that special counsel Robert Mueller, assigned to investigate alleged Trump-Russia collusion in the 2016 presidential campaign, has yet to charge anyone with a crime involving Trump-Russia collusion in the 2016 presidential campaign. The biggest of Mueller´s indictments, that of one-time Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, has no connection at all to collusion. And until a few days ago, it appeared to have no connection to Donald Trump, either. Now, though, Mueller has revealed why he believes the Manafort prosecution is related to the 2016 Trump campaign.
