Ex co-worker no fan of Democrat
darling Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

New York Post, by Richard Johnson

Original Article

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is being hailed as the new face of the Democratic Party after vanquishing Queens party boss Joe Crowley in Tuesday’s primary, but one former co-worker isn’t jumping on her bandwagon. Most of the staff at Flats Fix, the East 16th Street taco and tequila bar, say nice things about Sandy, as they knew her for the four years she worked there, until she quit six months ago to run for Congress. But one waitress has a bad memory of working with Ocasio-Cortez, 28, as Ocasio-Cortez tended bar during the very busy Cinco de Mayo celebration in 2017.

Among all the criticism of current day journalism, I find the writing and coherency of the articles lacking credibility or downright deceptive. Though I was certain that her victory was for a seat in the US Congress but just the primary. She ain´t won yet!

So, I started reading out of curiosity to see how she has been elevated to a slam dunk win. It took me five articles to determine her WIN was not a seat in the New York House. Then there was the chaff I had to dig through to even confirm that she had won a primary. I had to read down at least ten paragraphs to find that and in only one article.

I knew all this, but find this a low grade attempt to put this type of victory on the scoreboard as a a winning TD so don´t bother to vote. She´s already won.

Criticism of the enemedia is grandly justified.

This is so typical of liberals, progressives, socialists or whatever you want to call them. They are cheap and selfish to the very end, e.g., the charity donations of Algore and Plugs Biden. And it doesn´t stop there. My wife and I have come across this personally. The lefties are cheap on tipping and the good guys generous. This young woman will soon learn who is in charge if she gets elected to Congress, just like all the others who bucked the Establishment Democrats.

Nunes: Mueller indictment

Washington Examiner, by Byron York    Original Article

In a tweet Sunday, Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., a member and former chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee, boiled down special counsel Robert Mueller´s new Russian election-meddling indictment to one basic lesson: "Key point in Special Counsel Mueller´s indictment: A dozen Russian military intelligence officials conducted the hacking of Democrats during the 2016 campaign." Other commentators, most with less knowledge than Feinstein, offered similar assessments. Regardless of what President Trump might say, they noted, the indictment showed very clearly that the Russians — Russian military intelligence, specifically — did it. What few mentioned was that there had been a similar assessment —

It is hard to think of a demarche quite like the blast President Trump just delivered in respect of Brexit. It came in the form of an interview with the London daily Sun, in which Mr. Trump lit into Prime Minister Theresa May for making a bollix of Britain’s exit from the European Union. He’d told her how to do it, he claimed, and she failed to take his advice. This hit the internet as Mr. Trump was finishing his dinner with Mrs. May, and scores of others, at Blenheim Palace.

Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy’s retirement has ignited a competition in Big Media for apocalyptic hot-takes on how a marginally more conservative Supreme Court will destroy America. CNN’s senior legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin seems bent on taking home the trophy for the most molten meltdown. Republican senators are at their breaking point with Donald Trump’s protectionist trade blitz. Not a party meeting goes by these days where multiple Republicans don’t vent that the president isn’t listening to them — and plot how to fight back. “I’d like to kill ’em,” groused Finance Committee Chairman Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), a close Trump ally, referring to the administration’s expanding list of tariffs. The mounting frustration with the Republican president is a warning sign for the party amid what’s been a surprisingly favorable stretch.
