Time magazine has issued a correction to a controversial cover story about a Honduran migrant girl who they said was taken from her mother by US border patrol agents after it was revealed that the pair were never separated at all. Three-year-old Yanela Denise became the unintentional face of the now defunct family separation crisis after photographer John Moore captured her agonized face screaming as her mother was questioned by agents on June 12. After the picture was taken, the pair were taken together to a family detention center. Yanela´s father has since told DailyMail.com that they are ´safe´. As

The stakes of the immigration debate are better captured by pictures of the families President Trump REALLY met with.

You would think that for a cover story a little bit of fact checking would be in order. This incident makes it strikingly clear that Time is a propaganda organ.

So Mom, now a felon for having illegally entered in 2013 and being sent back, took off with this little girl, leaving her husband and other children behind.

´I didn´t support it. I asked her, why? Why would she want to put our little girl through that? But it was her decision at the end of the day.´

They have three other children who she left at home who are now waiting anxiously for her be sent back.

´The kids see what´s happening.

´They´re a little worried but I don´t try to bring it up that much. They know their mother and sister are safe now.’

The OTHER children are anxious and wondering about their mother, who sounds unstable at best.

When the photographer grabbed that photo, mom had put her little girl down as mom was to be patted down. She picked her right up again.

Pathetic.

Re #2, it was Henry Luce who profited most from manufactured news. I spent an interesting evening with a couple who had met while they were involved in the making of the “March of Time” newsreels, shown in every movie house in the country during WWII. He was in the Coast Guard, assigned to hauling Time’s cameramen and producers around. She worked as a production manager for Time. What an eyeful we got that evening as these two showed us newsreel after newsreel that they had been personally involved in making and explained what was really going on as opposed to what the newsreel portrayed to the public. Utter propaganda.

I suspect Time is only sorry that the standard practice of doubling-down when they´re caught lying wasn´t enough by itself to make the pressure on them go away.

The pressure was only from their ideological adversaries, though. None of the few on their side who even noticed seemed to care one bit.

The only way that the Time apology is acceptable if if they put it on the front page of their next magazine.

This is only a very small part of the absolutely fake or misleading reporting that the media has laid on the American people.

Remember that 80% of the illegal alien children who are being detained in child appropriate detention facilities run by the Department of Health and Human Services were not accompanied by any related adults when they unlawfully crossed the borderline into the USA. Those unaccompanied children either have parents still living in their home countries or illegal alien parents who are already sojourning someplace in the USA.

Only about 20% of the illegal alien children being detained in those facilities illegally crossed the borderline into the USA accompanied by claimed related adults and are the only children who could possibly have been separated from the adults with who they illegally crossed the borderline.

The reason that all those illegal alien children are either being brought into the USA or are being sent to the borderline with a lot of help from the supporters of mass uncontrolled illegal immigration in their home countries, along the way, and by the liberal Democrats, is to take advantage of the so-called “catch and release” policies that were astablished during the Obama era. Believing that those children would be released into the USA, attain a legal immigration status through some future amnesty that would allow their entire families to gain entry to the USA, and eventually be transformed into socialist oriented Democrat voters in massive numbers during the years ahead.

While organized labor had a friend in former President Barack Obama, who stacked the National Labor Relations Board with career union labor lawyers, unions are now having a harder go at it under the Trump administration. In fact, unions accustomed to be provided free government office space to conduct their business are finding themselves with an option of either paying rent or being kicked to the curb. Peter Strzok admitted to Congress on Thursday that he “detested” Donald Trump and was rooting for Hillary Clinton to win the 2016 election. “You were both rooting for Hillary Clinton to win and you both detested Donald Trump, were you not?” Republican Ohio Rep. Steve Chabot asked Strzok during a joint congressional hearing. “I think that’s fair to say,” said Strzok. While acknowledging his animus to Trump, Strzok insisted in Thursday’s hearing that bias did not affect his work on the Trump-Russia investigation. FBI counterintelligence agent Peter Strzok, who has become the target of President Trump and House Republicans’ allegations of corruption in the Russia investigation, will tell House lawmakers that his political biases never affected his work. “[L]et me be clear, unequivocally and under oath: not once in my 26 years of defending my nation did my personal opinions impact any official action I took,” Strzok said in his opening statement, released ahead of his testimony before the House Judiciary and Oversight Committees on Thursday. Text messages sent between Strzok and FBI attorney Lisa Page in which they both disparaged then candidate-Donald Trump
