George Will demands voters punish
´king´ Trump´s Republican ´poodles´

Washington Times, by Douglas Ernst

Former Fox News contributor George Will says voters must punish Republican “poodles” during the midterm elections to “quarantine” the president. An op-ed in Friday’s Washington Post by the long-time political pundit and conservative calls for voters to end the “carnage of Republican misrule” in Washington. Mr. Will claimed the “most telegenic example” of a need to oust Republicans exists with the administration’s “zero tolerance” policy regarding illegal immigrants along the U.S. southern border. “The Republican-controlled Congress, which waited for Trump to undo by unilateral decree the border folly they could have prevented by actually legislating, is an advertisement for the unimportance of

George Will is perhaps the saddest disappointment of all. Beyond hope, it appears.

He earned ostracization some time ago, and it looks like there´s no reason to reconsider. Occasionally an report like this one reminds me that George is still out there, abusing his own brain. Otherwise, who cares?

Is there a worse offense, in Will’s dainty and manicured world, than being a vulgarian? I know he just lost his best friend and may be overwrought and I am truly sorry for his loss. But those he dismisses as low-brow disgraces to conservatism are actually very concerned, traditional Americans. We believe our country could be a shining city on a hill to be a pattern for others to follow as the best way forward for mankind. However, right now we aren’t naturally evolving but in the throes of treachery and invasion. Is man’s last best hope to founder while being careful to hold up the pinky finger while drinking tea?

He thinks maybe the Republican base should vote Dem in Nov. in order to save Trump. Riiiight. Like those democrats wouldn´t impeach Trump as soon as they take the oath in 2019.

Will is seriously deranged, clearly this is a real disease.

People who have for years been pretty reasonable, normally fairly sensible, suddenly are foaming at the mouth, irrational, hateful nutcases, unable to grasp the massive numbers of really conservative things that are being accomplished.

This irrational hatred of the President is pretty surprising, really.

The only alternative explanation is that they were entirely fake, never actually wanted conservative things to happen, and now that they are actually happening, are unhappy about it.

So, are these folks just actors assigned to play conservatives on the stage of the "news", and now uncovered?

All of us know many other examples. Have they gone insane or were they faking it?

Subtlety not being Donald Trump’s customary approach to his job, his nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court was a surprisingly artful political play. For the many Trump supporters who delight in the president’s thumb-in-the-eye approach, the court vacancy was an opportunity for Trump to actually earn the prefab fulminations from Democrats, which were coming no matter whom he chose, by selecting a nominee that another Republican president might have deemed too risky. The option preferred by this group was Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals judge Amy Coney Barrett, whose presence on Trump’s short list caused palpitations on both sides of

Walking around New Orleans´ Lower Ninth Ward neighborhood, people are still angry at the impact of Hurricane Katrina and how unprepared the city was for the massive storm nearly 13 years on. But now some of their wrath is directed at Brad Pitt and his charity Make It Right. After the levees of the city´s industrial canal were breached, the Lower Ninth Ward of predominantly black and low-income families was decimated by the floods, with most houses swept away or left in ruins. Among the first to lend a helping hand was Pitt, who - along with his then wife Angelina Jolie - owned a house in New Orleans and set up the

Many liberal groups have expressed substantive concerns over President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, Judge Brett Kavanaugh. However, on Thursday, the abortion advocacy group NARAL voiced a rather odd, personal objection to Kavanaugh: his first name. “We´ll be D****D if we´re going to let five MEN—including some frat boy named Brett—strip us of our hard-won bodily autonomy and reproductive rights,” they wrote in a tweet. (Tweets/Videos) NARAL was not the only one to go after Judge Kavanaugh’s first name rather than his record. Late-night comedian Stephen Colbert joked that Kavanaugh’s name “sounds less like a Supreme Court justice and more like

WASHINGTON — Rod J. Rosenstein, the deputy attorney general, has asked federal prosecutors to help review the government documents of Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh, President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, according to a letter obtained by The New York Times on Wednesday. Mr. Rosenstein’s request was an unusual insertion of politics into federal law enforcement. While the Justice Department has helped work on previous Supreme Court nominations, department lawyers in Washington typically carry out that task, not prosecutors who pursue criminal investigations nationwide. But in an email sent this week to the nation’s 93 United States attorneys, Mr. Rosenstein asked each

On Tuesday night Trump-hating FBI lawyer Lisa Page and her legal counsel announced she will not appear before the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday despite a Congressional subpoena. The House Judiciary Committee subpoenaed Lisa Page to appear in a closed-door interview Wednesday. But just like every other Deep State operative, Lisa Page believes she’s above the law. Page’s lawyer argued her client wasn’t given enough time to prepare for the interview and was not allowed to review requested documents at the FBI on Tuesday. According to Freedom Caucus Chairman, Mark Meadows, this is another lie. Page and her lawyer DID
