The Real Lesson of the

You missed it. But that´s all right: everyone else missed it, too. Michael Horowitz is the Department of Justice´s Inspector General. He testified on June 18th before the Senate Judiciary Committee about his report concerning the Hillary Clinton national security breach investigation. The revelation came to light during questioning by Senator John Kennedy. (@7:36) Horowitz testified that “most” of the investigative decisions in that investigation were made not by the FBI but by prosecutors within the Department of Justice. (snip) the FBI was reduced to providing a set of runners (perhaps willing and even avid, because of their demonstrated bias,

Not much from the IG Report about Loretta Lynch. I think she was the one giving orders to the FBI via Bill Clinton (Tarmac). Also she wanted to change the wording of "investigation" to "Matter" and she had a alias e-mail under the name of Elizabeth Carlisle. Comey wrote in his book that "Loretta was tortured by half-out, half-out approach" on Hillary´s e-mails. Loretta also made a threat to the Southern District when they found Weiner´s lap top with e-mails from Hillary, she was threatening to go after two cops who were involved in the Eric Garner case and arrest them even though they were proven innocent.

Given this, what we see is a bureaucracy that has become facile in skirting illegality, and thereby accountability, by carefully observing the law in the broadest sense.

John Adams said "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."

In paraphrase, the law was designed not to be too constrictive to allow us freedom. It was assumed we would not abuse our legal freedoms because we are a good and moral people.

For many in government, that may not be true any more. They are abusing their legal freedoms to do unethical things to get their way. They are carrying out rule by emotions of the mob in the shadows.

One of the great fears in our Country is that the enormous power of government can be abused. It often is. This is why there is such emphasis on transparency, to expose the internal workings to public examination and to allow the public to force needed change and reestablish just government.

THAT is why the government is shielding their actions. They are terrified of corrective actions being taken that might undermine their power.

Laws are worthless unless they are applied equally to all. If the IG report has any lesson at all, it is that bias in those who enforce and prosecute the laws can and will be lenient to those they favor but brutally harsh with those they disfavor.

The detailed evidence clearly and unequivocally demonstrated that (Hillary investigation tactics and prosecutions VS Trump investigation tactics and prosecutions). The fact that the summary statements contradicted the evidence only further CONFIRMED that.

As #1 suggests, the media and the deep state´s frantic desire to protect Obama - who may be the most undeserving individual in history - leaves them in a cul-de-sac.

Even the most hard-core leftist must at least tacitly admit the facts of the case; indeed, none of them are even attempting to dispute them even though some cargo cult types think Bob Mueller will somehow produce a miracle.

But if Obama is protected, the facts demonstrate that one or more persons - Lynch, Jarrett, et al - were orchestrating the crimes and coverup. Jarrett´s priority was protecting Obama and the FBI/DOJ would not necessarily obey her because the audit trail of ´following orders´ would not survive scrutiny.

Everything continues to point to Lynch. Her arrogance and high opinion of herself was clear from her confirmation hearings; this is a person whose estimate of her IQ greatly outstrips reality. In fact, she made a plethora of blunders and left fingerprints on each one.

If that is so, then what is all the fuss about? Hmmm?

#2 Amen! We are no longer a moral and religious people when leaders in both political parties are in favor of and support abortion, including late term, and gay marriage. Not to mention the absurd number of genders that are now prevalent. What I get from the IG Report is that the DOJ/FBI are stacked with leftists even down to the rank and file. As a result the DOJ/FBI became a secret police force like the Stazi punishing Republicans and conservatives who they disagree with politically. Just ask Gen Flynn or Paul Manafort. I believe the FBI is beyond saving. I agree with Victor Davis Hanson “For all the investigations and IG reports, for all the revelations of scandals and wrongdoing, there will probably in the end be little consequence.” Unfortunately!

The FBI and the IRS should be broken up into fifty little pieces and handed to the states. Only policy coordination, interpretation and archiving functions should be left to a vastly reduced central department.

Our ability to coexist peacefully with individual liberty is dependent on our willingness to abide by ethical and social norms by virtue of our honor rather than government coercion.

We have lost that honor and are now seeing the symptoms run amuck.

My personal opinion is that this is by design and that those with a thirst for power have been manufacturing a need for power by destroying our culture a large part of which, its foundation was based on honor in the context of Judeo Christian values.

Institutions that used to work because they were run and staffed by honorable people will continue to unravel and succumb to corruption.

Read about Antonio Gramsci before you dismiss the notion that we have been under a deliberate ideological attack on our culture.

If anyone can figure ways to commit crimes, but stay within parameters of the law, it is lawyers. Our government, including the Congress, is heavily burdened by lawyers- and not the honest Perry Mason type!

That is why the checks and balances of oversight are so important, and why government employees (including elected officials) must be held to a standard of ethical and moral standards that insure honesty (and honor!)

That means that they can be fired, demoted, or even prosecuted for knowingly skirting the law for nefarious purpose- even though technically legal.

The trouble is, it takes honest and honorable people to live with such a system. At this point in time such people are scarce.

They only way that this country will be what is once was if and when the the overwhelming number of the citizens of the country will become moral and religious again. And I don´t think that will ever happen. The only thing that is going to put a stop to the corruption that this entire country is going thru is another civil war or revolution. Even that might not even manage for that to work. I believe that at someday in the future that this country is going be be torn up into several small countries with their own governments. Sad to think of.

Twitter announced it would be culling the platform´s fake followers. It makes good business sense to do this, because fake followers distort the influence ratings for advertisers, making accounts full of fakes a money-losing proposition for advertisers (who are Twitter´s real, paying customers).
