At Boise´s first Pridefest, people had to hide

The floats at the Boise Pride Festival have changed drastically over nearly three decades. Dallas Chase knows this well. Chase, 71, attended the first festival in Boise, an informal gathering in 1989. She was part of the team that built the first "float." It consisted of a borrowed wagon from her neighbor decorated with painted cardboard. "It was done in secret in my garage," Chase said. In those days, Chase said festivalgoers wore masks to avoid having their identities revealed. Anti-gay protesters would line the streets, dressed in black and holding aggressive, defamatory signs, said Robert Franklin, who was also

I´m 64 years old and grew up in Meridian, Idaho on a dairy farm. I left the Treasure Valley in 1979, and I just moved back to this area three years ago. Wishing I hadn´t. I don´t hate gay people; I think my grand daughter is going through some issues and I would never hate her. But as a Christian I don´t like to see this being accepted as normal behavior. Folks if this is happening in Idaho, it´s coming for your town, too.

I´m 74, born in Boise, and lived there my first 10 years when it was a small, beautiful city. Now the only feeling I have for it is shame. Odd how one rotten apple can spoil a whole bushel.

Three or four percent of the population trying to cram their lifestyle on the rest of the country...sorry...I won’t go along. I have a gay stepdaughter. I have never denigrated her for that but she has radical left ideas that I will never accept. That’s the only problem I have with gays...their leftist and stupid politics.

I truly don´t care what anyone´s religion, sexual orientation, race or gender is. There´s no need for us to try to shove our beliefs down each other´s throats. What is so hard about just respecting each other?
I´m getting so sick of this in-your-face stuff. Isn´t there some kind of Sell-By date?

Making a person think the word is little different than typing it out, and that particular one should be blocked like the rest.

When your sexual preferences define who you are as a person, you have jumped the shark. Heterosexuals do not define themselves that way. Their lives are not about what they do in private which seems to be a big difference between straights and gays. Any reasonable person when confronted with the facts of homosexual sex practices has to agree that they are inherently unsanitary. Just because you can physically do something does not mean you should do it. Gay sex is being glamorized. You don’t hear much about the consequences both physically and mentally that this lifestyle has on its participants. Could it be because it is not all sweetness and light. Let’s get real and have some transparency. If we have to be bombarded with their behavior, it is only fair we understand the real consequences of it.

The Pride thing is nothing but a cry for attention, as is the pink, green and purple hair, the body jewelry and the ridiculous clothing. Hold the circus elsewhere and leave the rest of us alone. We are not proud of perversion, nor should they be. The wearing of masks should never have stopped.

What was originally aimed at being a rebellious response to those who told them they should be ashamed of the sinful nature of their disordered sexual proclivities doesn´t really make sense any more, now that the arrow of societal shame has been reversed, as the oppressive ´progressivism´ tries to shame anybody who refuses to accept, affirm, and even celebrate their perversions.

I will never accept even the notion of men sticking their stuff up each other´s poop chute (let alone the reality of it). The very thought disgusts me, even in the heterosexual context. And I sure as hell will not affirm it, much less celebrate it.

Donald Trump was the first presidential candidate since Richard Nixon not to reveal his federal income tax return. Some Oregon Democrats want to try to make him the last. A bill introduced Monday in Salem would require candidates for president and vice president to give a copy of their most recent tax return to the Oregon Secretary of State with written permission that the document can be made public. Alternatively, the candidate could fill out Oregon’s standard income disclosure form for public officials. The requirement would apply to candidates on primary and general election ballots and those wishing to be

Prince Charles and Prince William reportedly ‘snubbed’ the US President during his visit to Britain - leaving the Queen to meet Donald Trump alone at Windsor Castle. The royal father and son apparently shared their desire to not take part in the arrangements during informal discussions regarding the president’s four-day tour. Trump’s trip was not a state visit and so only the Queen greeted the president and his wife Melania. However even on working trips dignitaries expect to see more members of the royal family than only the Queen. When deciding which royals to include in the meeting, senior courtiers shared concerns about

The indictment Friday of 12 Russian military officers for the election hacks against the DNC and Hillary Clinton’s campaign lends a surprising new detail to the 2016 election interference timeline: The Kremlin’s hackers apparently still maintained a foothold in the DNC’s network four months after the Democrats announced that they’d locked the intruders out. Until today, the story of the DNC hack ended promptly on June 14, 2016, when the Democrats went public with the intrusion in the pages of the Washington Post, and Crowdstrike, the security firm hired to respond to the breach, published a detailed technical account. Americans are encouraged to embrace diversity and be culturally sensitive to those who have flouted our laws and invaded our nation. Meanwhile, illegal aliens arriving in America have no such requirement. Instead, trespassing tribes relocate, and when they do, rather than assimilate, they transfer habits and activities indigenous to the countries from whence they migrated. Thus, Americans suffer from illnesses that are easily traceable to third-world bathroom habits (TWBH) and lack of hygiene in the developing world.
