´Separating babies from their mothers
is immoral!´: Christian leader SLAM
Jeff Sessions´ usage of the Bible to justify
policy tearing *

Christian leaders across the country have taken issue with Attorney General Jeff Session´s usage of the Bible as justification of his policy that is separating thousand of immigrant families at the border. Sessions cited Romans 13 to attempt to justify how separating families was ordained by God because ´orderly and lawful processes are good in themselves and protect the weak and lawful.´ For religious leaders who still weren´t pleased with his usage of scripture, he offered them to ´speak up strongly to urge anyone who would come here to apply lawfully, to wait their turn and not violate the law.´

These religious figures are the ones who have distorted AG Session’s usage of Romans 13 either out of obliviousness or purpose. AG Sessions cited verses from Romans 13 to emphasize that God instituted civil government for the purpose of protecting His children while on earth—through lawful governance. That is what AG Sessions was pointing out. Follow the law—those who disobeyed the immigration laws of this country broke the law and violated not only this government’s laws, but violated God’s command to obey civil law. The only exception to that obedience is when civil law violates God’s law. In this instance, civil law is the focus and the only focus.

To circumvent AG Session’s purpose in citing those verses, these critics are focusing on the separation of children from parents. This country does not lack compassion—the children being separated from law-breaking parents are being taken away so they can be sheltered from the environs of jail/prison until their parents are processed through legal procedures. They are being clothed, sheltered, fed, educated, exercised, and entertained. If there is any blame, blame the parents and/or the teens that violated civil law to enter this country illegally.

People who break the law are separated from their children and families all the time. Whether you´re a U.S. citizen or not, you will be sent to prison for a committing crime; your kids don´t go with you. Lawbreakers who are also parents should consider this before flouting U.S. laws.

These families are the ones "tearing" themselves apart by their actions. And, I guarantee you, it´s at the coaching of Leftist/Dem, "community organizer", Soros backed types.
You want to end this? Stop incentivising it.
Say No to Obama´s illegal DACA. No to chain migration. No to illegal immigration. No to any GOP-e lead immigration ´fix´. Build the wall and tax those who employ illegals, or the employment agencies that supply illegals. Finally, build the wall and MAGA!

So is separating mothers from their babies also immoral? Women sometimes go to jail and when they do their "babies" don´t go with them. Using this rationale mothers could commit any crimes they want and not be jailed because their "babies" couldn´t be kept in cages (barred cells).

Then send the children to prison with their parents or send them all back to where they came from immediately. If these parents dare to bring their kids with them to enter the US, then there needs to be the incentive for them to stop. Yes, it sounds harsh but this happens all the time with illegal immigrants. All Foster children are separated from their parents.

With so many immoralities to choose from, they of course choose the one that damages American culture the most.

It is even more immoral for the leaders of the countries these mothers come from to establish conditions that drive these mothers to flee.

Why is it the fault of the Trump Administration and INS when it is the mothers and fathers that try to enter this country illegally that are putting their children in that position in the first place. As usual, the Left is putting the blame where it does not belong.

Maybe an expedited deportation of all those here illegally who have children with them is an answer.
Then mom or dad can jump thru the hoops like anyone else who wants to be here....legally.

As another poster said on another thread so wisely put it, if I took my young children out in the desert without proper food and water, when the authorities caught me, Child Protective Services would yank my kids away from me faster than anything!!!!!!!

How is this any different -- other than these people are also breaking our immigration laws!!!!!

Simple solution: If you don´t want to be separated from your children, do NOT sneak them in to this country ILLEGALLY!!!!!

The Bible says obey the law of the land. I guess that´s just for republicans & legal residents, not illegals. It didn´t appear to bother the Judge in DC yesterday he separated Manifold from his children this weekend on Fathers Day for a fake investigation. Trump can handle this today by implementing a big for fine to employers for hiring illegals. Problem solved.

The Democrats should have thought if this when they passed the immigration law that requires children being separated from parents trying to get in the country illegally. I say the moral issue is on the parents for putting their little ninos at risk in the first place.

If momma doesn´t want to be separated from her baby, don´t cross into the U.S. illegally! Stay in Mexico, where you have escaped your country and seek asylum there!

Besides, when the word gets out, maybe this will discourage illegals from bringing babies (and themselves) here.

This, however was an unforced error and one that a seasoned debater should not have made. Bringing scripture into a policy debate only opens the door to it´s use against your position.

American mothers & dads who break the law and end up in jail certainly cannot keep their children in there with them! Ergo, why should ILLEGAL aliens be allowed to keep their babies when they break the law and end up incarcerated? Sneaking into the country illegally, thus avoiding existing Immigration Law, is a crime, ya know! ...Remember the slogan,´´Crime does not pay?!´´

The irresponsible practice of that, ´anchor baby,´ MAGNET should be ended asap!

Christians do not have “religious leaders.” We do not have spokespeople for our faith, except perhaps for the pope for Catholics. But even that is up for grabs given this particular pope. There are some extremely liberal priests and pastors and many of us Christians have no connection to them or their ideas whatsoever.

A Breitbart article posted earlier today tells us, in text and photographs, that the children separated from those purporting to be their parents are being well taken care of. And the photo of the classroom setting at the facility featured showed young men of at least high school age, with one younger boy. No girls.

It must be kept in mind that these people came as part of a huge caravan, promoted by American-based activists who have been promoting illegal entry for some time now, and what is happening is the alternative to their being flatly turned back at the border.

The lib bleeding hearts are literally bleeding this for all its worth. They don’t care if they are wrong. What they are spreading is anti-Trump administration propaganda.

All those illegal aliens parents who brought their foreign born children across the borderline illegally knew exactly what was going to happen with them and their children once they were apprehended illegally crossing the US border into the USA. You had better believe that they were advised of those facts by the supporters of mass uncontrolled illegal immigration and the international people smugglers who encouraged those illegal aliens to cross the borderline illegally and file bogus applications for asylum to further tie up the immigration courts that now have a backlog of over 300,000 such asylum cases most of them fraudulent.

Those illegal aliens also know that because of the deliberate loopholes that have been placed in the immigration laws by Democrats hungry for foreign born voters and Republicans hurgry for cheap labor, that within a short time after arriving at the HHS children´s shelters that HHS will be required to release those children to mostly illegal alien relatives already in the USA, who are sojourning all over the USA, who will enroll the children in USA public schools, get welfare and healthcare benefits for the children, and will hide the children out hoping for some future “Dreamer” or DACA based amnesty that will legalize the children along with their illegal alien parents who caused this situation in the first place.

#17- Respectfully disagree that it was a “dumb move” for AG Sessions to cite scripture. If people have no regard for civil law, it is appropriate to remind them they will be held accountable to a Higher Authority. People of faith should not be silenced by liberals who go into apoplectic shock whenever religion or scripture become part of the political narrative. They, too, need to be reminded there is a Higher Authority: “For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him will the Son of Man also be ashamed when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.” (Mark 8:38)

LONDON – Thousands of Trump supporters and other right-wing activists took to the nation’s capital on Saturday--a day after anti-Trump protesters had dominated the city. While the displays of right-wing support were nowhere near as large as the enormous anti-Trump march that demanded the international media’s attention the day before, it was still a significant show of support for Trump from those eager to counter the claim that Trump had been unanimously rejected by Britons. The day started with a small pro-Trump rally outside the U.S. Embassy, featuring numerous red “MAGA” hats and U.S. and U.K. flags--as well as a

When Donald Trump started running for the Republican nomination for president in June 2015, he began by attacking the Republican establishment in Washington, and he began his attack by calling the establishment "the swamp." His real target was the permanent government and its enablers in the legal, financial, diplomatic and intelligence communities in Washington. These entities hover around power centers no matter which party is in power. Beneath the swamp, Trump argued, lies the deep state. The man who co-wrote “The Art of the Deal” said Sunday he believes President Trump’s faculties are diminishing — and that he feels obligated to sound the alarm. “We are in a true emergency,” Tony Schwartz said on CNN Sunday. “And the accelerated rate at which his breakdown or decompensation is occurring is cause for us, and certainly for me, to come on to TV more often, to tweet more often.” Schwartz told CNN’s Brian Stelter that he felt comfortable making that assessment because he had “spent an enormous time with [Trump] over a period of 18 months.”(snip)Stelter pointed out that Schwartz

Anyone who has ever been to a recycling plant is invariably surprised at how dirty and nasty America’s favorite green activity really is. Trucks dump the material on a long conveyor belt, where a few dozen people pick through by hand what is supposed to be recyclable material, but more and more often is just plain old dirty trash. The recyclables used to be worth something more than bragging rights about liberal moral superiority. Plastic bottles, newspapers, and cardboard, were just a few of the favorites you could ship to China by the ton and make a few bucks along the

Americans are encouraged to embrace diversity and be culturally sensitive to those who have flouted our laws and invaded our nation. Meanwhile, illegal aliens arriving in America have no such requirement. Instead, trespassing tribes relocate, and when they do, rather than assimilate, they transfer habits and activities indigenous to the countries from whence they migrated. Thus, Americans suffer from illnesses that are easily traceable to third-world bathroom habits (TWBH) and lack of hygiene in the developing world. It´s not news that illegals work in restaurants as food-handlers. These restaurant workers migrate from

Watching FBI agent Peter Strzok battle with Congress, my initial reaction was pure anger. His repeated, arrogant insistence that he had done nothing wrong despite tons of evidence to the contrary convinced me he deserved immediate firing — if not the firing squad. Gradually, though, anger gave way to amazement as Strzok grew increasingly combative and condescending. Given his predicament, the sneering and smirking were stupid, and yet he persisted. Who is this jerk, I wondered, and how in the hell did he get to be a big shot at the FBI? And why are taxpayers still paying for the privilege of

The left-wing terrorist organization that calls itself Antifa is “freaking out” over a proposed law that would enhance penalties for anyone who “injures, oppresses, threatens, or intimidates any person” while wearing a disguise or mask. Throughout our country, and for a number of years now — and primarily because the establishment media fantasizes about, promotes, enflames and approves of the violence committed against the right (naturally, HuffPo opposes the unmasking law) — Antifa has been allowed to run rampant, committing countless acts of violence against everyday, peaceful supporters of President Donald Trump.

The White House Correspondents’ Association released a statement defending CNN from President Donald Trump’s refusal to take a question from the network on Friday. “In response to the President lashing out at NBC, CNN and The Sun: Asking smart, tough questions, whether in a presidential press conference or interview, is central to the role a free press plays in a healthy republic,” said WHCA president Margaret Talev. “Given that the president took a question from a CNN reporter in his NATO news conference just a day earlier, maybe he was letting off steam today rather than expressing an official stance

A 13-year-old girl in Alabama was beheaded because she saw her Sinaloa Cartel-associated granny stabbed to death by drug traffickers, authorities have said. Mariah Lopez, 13, and her grandmother Oralia Mendoza, 49, were killed on June 4 in Moon Cemetery outside of Huntsville, Alabama, prosecutors revealed in court on Thursday. The new details in the case came in a hearing for 26-year-old Yoni Aguilar, who along with 34-year-old Israel Palomino is charged with two counts each of capital murder in the slayings. At the hearing, investigators testified that the grandmother Mendoza had ties to the Sinaloa Cartel,
