Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein is expected to brief President Trump on Thursday about the inspector general report on law enforcement’s handling of the Hillary Clinton email probe before it is released to the public, people familiar with the matter said. Capitol Hill staffers were told Tuesday that scheduling and logistical conflicts would make it necessary for the Justice Department to shift its planned Thursday morning briefing to the afternoon, according to people familiar with the congressional plans. The scheduling change was apparently made to accommodate the White House, though staffers were not told the precise reason, the people

The very first sentence, Rod Rosenstein to brief the President, says that the report will be mush. If the report was complete, Rosenstein would have resigned for it would name him as a signer of the last perjurious FISA warrant request on President Trump. And, as someone who was aware of the DoJ’s corruption in 2016’s election, Uranium One and other Obama scandals involving the DoJ.

Report will be forgotten by MSM by Friday morning, if not sooner.

Why can´t the AG Jeff Sessions brief President Trump? This report is about the Clinton email matter - he´s not recused from that?

The only reason the IG isn´t briefing PT on the IG´s report is so Rosenstein can spin it. If Rosenstein isn´t fire by Friday morning, I´ll be hugely disappointed.

Ditto #3.

What in the bloody hades is Jeff Sessions getting paid for? He´s hiding in the weeds, only coming out to defend Rottenstein, who seems to be running the whole show these days.

President Trump: Call Sessions and issue him an order to bring the IG report personally. Tell him to also bring his and Rottenstein´s resignation letters.
Clean house at the FBI and DOJ!

Little OT. Anyone catch Sessions interview on Tucker Carlson last night? Sessions stumbled and bumbled his way through It giving off a stench of dishonesty that really smelled up my living room. I could not believe his support of Rosenstein. After all that has been released about him and his involvement in the FISA applications, it sickened me to hear him vigorously defend this little weasel. Tucker did not challenge him which I found unsettling. Maybe it was because he had a prior commitment with Sessions to refrain from doing so. Nevertheless, it was very disappointing. Sessions looked inarticulate and shifty. Tucker appeared to be gobsmacked with his answers and gave him a pass. I found it very strange.

Departments do not normally send staff to brief the POTUS. The proper protocol is for the Department head to brief the POTUS. Sessions is a worthless coward. I hope Sessions is fired.

Staten Island, N.Y. - How popular is President Donald Trump on Staten Island? So popular that he even tops the iconic Robert De Niro. At least as far as Great Kills resident Joseph DeVito is concerned. DeVito has become an Internet sensation after trashing a photo of De Niro in the wake of the actor´s foul-mouthed "F--k Trump" diatribe at the Tony Awards. That rant led DeVito, who calls De Niro his idol in the video, to take a framed picture of the actor from his wall, drop it in a trash can outside, and smash the picture glass with a hammer. He then tears the picture to pieces. "Another Trump-hater down," DeVito says, closing the lid on

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders hit back Wednesday night against a report that she was considering leaving her role, saying she “loves” her job and is “honored” to work with President Trump. Sanders was replying to an earlier CBS News report that both she and deputy press secretary Raj Shah have considered leaving their positions in the administration. “Does @CBSNews know something I don’t about my plans and my future,” Sanders asked in a tweet. “I was at my daughter’s year-end Kindergarten event and they ran a story about my ‘plans to leave the WH’ without even talking to me.”

Singapore - A historic handshake in front of US and North Korean flags, a solemn signing ceremony and back-slapping compliments: critics charge that US President Donald Trump has legitimised Kim Jong Un on the world stage. The photo opportunity the world was waiting to see -- the two leaders clasping hands -- has also been a goal of the Kim dynasty for decades. And analysts noted that Trump was treating as an equal a man who only a few months ago seemed to be tipping the world towards nuclear war and whose regime has been accused of horrendous human rights

The rumor mill is churning out the possibility that Cindy McCain will take over her husband´s Arizona Senate seat should he resign due to his terminal illness. I have always suspected that she was the reason behind her husband choosing Sarah Palin as his running mate in 2008. Now, of course, he´s made public remarks that he regretted choosing the former Alaska governor, overlooking the fact that she gave his presidential campaign a much needed boost. What many conservatives don´t realize is that Cindy is way smarter than her husband and a much better person.

Illegal Immigration: The latest outrage by the Trump administration is its policy of "ripping" children away from parents who´ve crossed the border illegally. As with so many other things involving Trump, there´s plenty of emotion but precious little in the way of facts. The furor reached critical mass after the Department of Homeland Security said on Friday that 1,995 children had been separated from their illegal border crossing parents from mid-April through May. That number included, DHS said, cases where the adults were arrested for illegal entry, immigration violations, or possible criminal conduct. The practice has generated a rising storm of protests,

Roseanne Barr has become untouchable due to the "Valerie Jarrett/Ambien/Planet of the Apes" controversy, irrevocably contaminated by racism. This presents a problem for ABC, which canceled her revived show but wants the show to return in some form because it had high ratings. The apparent solution is to create a new show focused on the daughter character "Darlene," which would exclude Roseanne. Unfortunately, Roseanne Barr owns a chunk of the show, and ABC doesn´t want to be seen letting Barr profit from it, so ABC is in talks to buy the show from Barr so she would not technically profit

The FBI’s leadership clearly hopes that the Democrats will win majorities in Congress and put a halt to the investigations into its multifarious abuses of power.
