Twitter CEO Caves to a Liberal Backlash,
Says He Was Wrong to Eat Chick-Fil-A

Daily Caller, by Peter Hasson

Original Article

Posted By:Pluperfect, 6/11/2018 4:45:17 AM

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey on Sunday expressed regret over eating at Chick-fil-A, because of the chicken company’s CEO’s personal views on gay marriage. Dorsey tweeted a screenshot from his phone that showed a purchase he had made at Chick-fil-A using a mobile application. After a liberal backlash, however, Dorsey apologized for eating at the popular fast food restaurant. At issue was Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy’s 2012 support for defining marriage as between a man and a woman, which he described as “the biblical definition of a family.”(Snip for angry graphics) Former CNN anchor Soledad O’Brien was among those to call out Dorsey

I would have gone on Twitter with a bucket of chick-fil-a saying, "you liberal snowflake pansies don´t like it? Watch me eat some more of this good chicken!" The Twit CEO is a moral and political coward. A CEO of a social media corporation is not of the same sand as a CEO of an industry.

Dorsey needs to post a picture of himself kissing that equally cowardly CEO of Starbuck´s. That should placate the Sodom and Gomorrah crowd. Maybe.

He apologizes for eating there because of Chick-Fil-A´s opposition to gay marriage? When did that company ever do or say anything for or against gay marriage? All it did was say it held to it´s Christian beliefs, and closes on Sunday. Most Christians, and truth be told, many non Christians feel the same about same sex marriage. But because this company is successful and is closed on Sunday they are never going to stop attacking it. So far they are shouting in the wind. Who cares.

How petty and how cowardly!

I don’t know how leftists get through the day what with all of the various things in their lives which are either banned or mandatory. They need a special app on their smart phones to keep it all listed for them so they don’t step out of line.

As has been noted before - political correctness is enslavement of the mind.

I don´t care that leftists don´t eat at Chick-Fil-A doesn´t both me a bit. I love their food. It´s probably a good thing because the lines are long enough at lunch time. The problem with leftists is that they want to stop me from eating there. They want their offense of Chick-Fil-A forced on me like they did to this idiot Dorsey. Not a chance of that happening but if leftists ever get total control of this country this chain of restaurants will be closed down. To leftists Christians like Dan Cathy are the real problem!

Leftists can bleat all they want, but Chick-Fil-A is the most crowded fast food restaurant around here. During peak hours, the parking lot is full, and the drive up is so busy they have two lines for ordering and sometimes send employees out to expedite orders. And that´s in the People´s Republic of Colorado!

Another clear example of how it is the left dividing the country. Loyalty to the left requires a complete dissociation with non believers. There is no parallel on the part of those not on the left.

Secondly, this is also another clear indication that in accordance with Alinsky tactics, successfully deployed I might add, we live under the false impression that we non leftists are a fringe minority. The very fact that Chick-Fil-A survives and even thrives should give us gread solace.

Since the feathered dinosaur revolution of the last couple decades, every time a dinosaur movie comes out it hatches think pieces about how the film is trampling on science. This will continue until Hollywood acquiesces and finally turns these bygone monsters into birds. As part of the press surrounding the latest Jurassic Park film, paleontologist Jack Horner was recently featured on KPCC’s “The Frame” to discuss his advisory role on the biggest dino franchise of them all. He’s been there pretty much since the beginning, and now he’s claiming that they knew back in 1992 and ‘93 that velociraptors had feathers.

Republican lawmakers are preparing to vote on a more narrow immigration bill that would allow immigrant children to stay in detention facilities with their parents for more than 20 days, senior White House and Hill officials tell ABC News. The bill would correct an issue with President Trump´s executive order to stop the separation of children from parents who entered the country illegally. The existing law requires that children be released from detention after 20 days. The House is scheduled to vote on a larger "compromise" immigration bill early next week that would include DACA, border security and visas.

Immigration has always been the most inflammatory of political issues. We all have strong feelings. Mine are shaped by the fact that I’m an immigrant twice over. My parents fled communism in Hungary and were welcomed by Britain, where I was born and raised. And now here I am in America, making a new home for our family since we moved here in 2012. It’s impossible for me to be anything other than pro-immigration. Let me add a few more elements of personal context. Soon after moving to the U.S., I came back from a short foreign trip and was detained at one of America’s busiest airports. There was a technical

An ugly conundrum lies at the heart of the border crisis dominating our news coverage and social media feeds, complete with the sights and sounds of children separated from their parents: Under a 1997 settlement between the federal government and immigration activists, the government must choose between enforcing the law inhumanely and not enforcing it at all. The consent decree, known as the Flores agreement, was the product of nine years of litigation over the detention of unaccompanied minors apprehended crossing the border. It requires detained minors to be released as expeditiously as possible. In 2015, the 9th Circuit interpreted Flores´

Just over a year ago, White House Budget Director Mick Mulvaney was being raked over the coals for his budget blueprint. In addition to supposed cuts to the Meals on Wheels program (which weren’t really cuts), the document projected savings of $72.5 billion within Social Security’s two main programs for the disabled. Liberal journalists injected outrage into their reports and columns. Some denounced this modest frugality as President Trump’s “deceitful attack on the disabled” and called the justifications for the reforms "false claims." The boycott-Trump movement has resurged. Shannon Coulter, a brand and digital strategist, started the #GrabYourWallet hashtag in October 2016 to encourage people seeking a way to take concrete action against Donald Trump to boycott companies — large and small — that do business with his family. As a result, brands such as Nordstrom, Jet.com, and Gilt dropped Ivanka Trump´s fashion line last year. While Coulter has remained steadfast in her quest to encourage the other 62 retailers, nonprofits, and even a movie produced by Harvey Weinstein to ditch Trump products, the issue has peaked once more among consumers and

Former Fox News contributor George Will says voters must punish Republican “poodles” during the midterm elections to “quarantine” the president. An op-ed in Friday’s Washington Post by the long-time political pundit and conservative calls for voters to end the “carnage of Republican misrule” in Washington. Mr. Will claimed the “most telegenic example” of a need to oust Republicans exists with the administration’s “zero tolerance” policy regarding illegal immigrants along the U.S. southern border. “The Republican-controlled Congress, which waited for Trump to undo by unilateral decree the border folly they could have prevented by actually legislating, is an advertisement for the unimportance of

The Chronicle receives a deluge of email every day, but one message sent to the news desk on a Saturday evening in April was particularly memorable. “There is a suitcase full of human s— on the corner of Isis and 13th,” the email read. “Last night, I had to threaten violence to a man smoking crystal meth on my front porch. This morning, my 2-year-old son and I watched a rat rummage through the trash in our gutter. “Things have been getting worse and worse on my block since 2010, and the city does NOTHING to fix it,” the angry

It´s come to this: according to some, people should be picking their casual dining choices based on their politics. NPR published an opinion piece by writer Monique Truong that claims in the headline that it is "hypocrisy" for administration members who support President Trump´s way of handling the long-ignored border crisis to eat at Mexican restaurants. These are people who work for the president, of course, so they are essentially being taken to task for doing their jobs. Truong considers recent forays to Mexican food dining establishments by administration policy adviser Stephen Miller and
