Obama took lying to new
heights with the Iran deal

Fox News, by Marc Thiessen

Original Article

Posted By:greggojo, 6/8/2018 12:51:53 PM

WASHINGTON -- When it comes to the Iran nuclear deal, the Obama administration increasingly appears to have been a bottomless pit of deception. First, President Barack Obama failed to disclose to Congress the existence of secret side deals on inspections when he transmitted the nuclear accord to Capitol Hill. (They were only uncovered by chance when then-Rep. Mike Pompeo, R-Kan., and Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., learned about them during a meeting with International Atomic Energy Agency officials in Vienna.)

Comments:
I´ve never gotten over Ben Rhodes snide bragging remarks about his creation of the echo chamber and the ignorance of the press corps which he used to his advantage as he was knowingly conning America about this catastrophic deal.

If there are no repercussions, what difference does it make? The leadership for the people, so far is not representing what is in the best interest of the country. Maybe they have a long term plan, so far it looks like just more of the Washington swamp at work.

Lies to Congress by Obama Treasury Secretary Jack Lew and one of Lew´s top deputies, Adam Szubin, should be referred to the DoJ for prosecution to the full extent of the law.

Congressional oversight cannot be effective if top government officials can lie without consequences.

Drain the swamp!!

The American people demand it!!

President Trump on Wednesday signed an executive order to allow children to stay with parents caught crossing the border illegally -- moving to stop the family separations that have triggered a national outcry and political crisis for Republicans. The measure would allow children to stay in detention with parents for an extended period of time. This comes as congressional Republicans scramble to draft legislation to address the same issue, but face challenges mustering the votes. In signing the measure, Trump said he wants to keep families together while also enforcing border security.

House Oversight Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy scorched James Comey in a blistering opening statement at a high-profile congressional hearing on Tuesday, declaring “we can’t survive with a justice system we don’t trust.” Gowdy kicked off the hearing featuring testimony from Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz on his review of the Hillary Clinton email case. The top DOJ watchdog is on Capitol Hill for the second day in a row to discuss the explosive report. But Gowdy launched into Tuesday's session -- a joint hearing held by the House oversight and judiciary panels -- with a fiery condemnation of the

President Trump on Friday morning said he would not sign a moderate immigration bill currently working its way through Congress -- although by the afternoon, the White House seemed to try walking it back, prolonging a day of confusion amid Congress´ long fight for an immigration policy overhaul. In an interview with “Fox and Friends”, Trump said that while he was “looking at both” immigration proposals in Congress– one spearheaded by Republican Rep. Bob Goodlatte of Virginia and the more moderate bill proposed by House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis. – he would not sign Ryan’s so-called compromise bill because it

Nerves can wreck any performer’s day. Not Courtney Hadwin. When the British teen auditioned on America’s Got Talent, she confessed to her battle with nerves right from the start. Nerves of steel, more like. Hadwin surprised everyone in the room as she wheeled around the stage and belted out Otis Redding’s “Hard to Handle,” covered in the ´90s by the Black Crowes. "Bloody hell Courtney,” enthused judge Simon Cowell. “You were this shy little thing when you came out. Then you sing and you’re like a lion. I mean, genuinely incredible.”

The fates seemed to line up against Justify as he sought to become the 13th horse in history to win the Triple Crown. From his tender heel the day after he won the Kentucky Derby to his tired performance in the Preakness to his starting position on the dreaded rail in the Belmont Stakes, he’d encountered obstacles that have defeated many an excellent horse. It would take a great champion to render all those subplots meaningless. Justify, as it turns out, is just that.

Thankfully, the plan didn´t work. A STEM professor at the University of Akron in Ohio was trying to boost his students´ grades - just because those students are women. On Monday, the professor, Liping Liu, sent an email to students letting them know that three groups of students may see their grades raised a "level or two," according to a screenshot of the email that was posted on Reddit. The screenshot has since been removed because it contained recipients’ email addresses, however, a redacted copy of it was provided by a student to Campus Reform. Justice Department IG probing Comey

The Justice Department’s internal watchdog is probing James Comey´s handling of classified information as part of the memos he gave to a friend documenting discussions with President Trump. A source familiar with the probe confirmed the inspector general is looking at whether classified information was given to unauthorized sources as part of a broader review of his communications outside the bureau -- including media contact. The developments put the ex-FBI boss in the crosshairs of an investigation just as his former deputy faces a criminal referral over a separate leak.

With the U.S. Census Bureau reporting yet another year of population loss for the city, it doesn’t take an investigator to determine the causes. The city’s scary record of 343 homicides in 2017 affirms the city’s well-known reputation as a dangerous place to live. Even if 2018 has fewer homicides, it doesn’t take a fortune teller to predict that this year’s homicide rate will be high. Until the city substantially reduces its homicide and other crimes rates, people will continue to view the city as dangerous and be reluctant to stay or move here.

The Minnesota Vikings made history on Thursday. Vikings players, coaches and members of the LGBTQ community came together for a first of its kind inclusion summit held by an NFL team. The LGBTQ summit and fundraising event was held at the TCO Performance Center Auditorium in Eagan. It centered around bridging the gap between the LGBTQ community and sports. Taxes: Whatever you think about the issue of taxing internet sales, the simple fact is that the Supreme Court has just guaranteed that people across the country will now be paying more in state taxes. It´s hard for us to see how this is good news. In its 5-4 decision on South Dakota v. That meant a catalog company based in Maine didn´t have to navigate 45 state sales-tax laws to figure out how much each customer owed, and then remit that money to the
