Tommy Robinson ´Disappears´:
Free Speech in England Is Dead

American Thinker, by Justin O. Smith

Original Article

The arrest of British free speech activist Tommy Robinson has sent shockwaves across the Anglosphere. (snip) In only a matter of hours, not only was Robinson illegitimately arrested, but he was taken before a judge without access to his own lawyer, with no trial or due process of law, and he was sentenced to thirteen months in prison. Afterward, he was promptly transported to Hull Prison, where an imminent threat of death awaits him among a prison population that holds a large number of Muslims. Remember, Kevin Crehan, a British citizen, was imprisoned for a year for leaving a bacon sandwich

My partner & lover is from the U.K. and has been living here for the last 5 years, (she has her green card). At least once a month she speaks of us moving there.
To make her happy, I visited there, for 3 months, about 2 years ago. I saw the sun on 4 different occasions.
Reading this makes me wonder if I really want to move. I´d miss her if she insists on moving "home"
We may not be the "best" country, but we´re far ahead of what ever is in second place.

I lived in England, across from Hull, Barton - upon - Humber.

I remember the hate laws were being pushed at the time by the EU. The people were convinced by the government and elites that it was all needed. The locals didn´t listen to us yanks when we told them it was suicidal to eliminate free speech. They reminded us on a regular bases that they were the enlightened ones. So sad. I lived across from an old anglo/sax church, 700 ad I think. What a sad society they have become.

The British did invent the oil lamp, so maybe they can be proud of that.

The English people have not moved, but they now live in a different country. Churchill would surely wonder why he bothered to fight so hard for England, if he could see this mess.

It is profoundly sad to see what kind of nation Britain has chosen to become through government dependency. Everyday Brits seem so disconnected and act as though they are totally disempowered heads-in-the-sanders.

What´s it like to feel powerless? A lieutenant in the Chicago Fire Department may find out. The fireman committed the grave sin of defending himself and his property from an aggressor. Now he is the target of a social media campaign to ex post facto punish him for having the audacity to protect what is rightfully his. Last summer, the unidentified firefighter left his Jeep idling on the West Side of the city (admittedly, not a bright thing to do anywhere in Chicago) when it was carjacked by 17-year-old Charles Macklin. The lieutenant, who is Hispanic, attempted to stop Macklin,

How´s this for sneaky? Sen. John McCain, not too long after seeking conservative and Republican votes in his failed 2008 bid for the presidency, went right after those same conservative voters without telling them, by egging on the IRS to ruin them. It´s the sort of political back-stabbing that defies belief, taking an active role in destroying the Tea Party, which was an authentic grassroots movement of local groups calling for smaller government. But sure enough, Judicial Watch has found McCain´s central role right there in the documents: Judicial Watch today released newly obtained internal IRS documents, including material revealing that Sen.

Think of the odds: every day, for years, the Southern Poverty Law Center has been cranking out studies, talking points, and direct mail (oh, sweet, sweet mail!) to show how black people are victims of relentless white racism, all the time, everywhere, and that explains everything. Just a few days ago, the SPLC declared that black-on-white violence is the "biggest lie" because everyone knows the real problem is white-on-black violence. But what crazy luck: The more the SPLC says black criminality is a myth, the more it just keeps happening. Isn´t that what you would call a day at the races, where

From time to time, the media tell the truth about issues that have a racial edge, usually by accident. Such was the case in February of this year, when a local TV news crew visited a largely black St. Louis neighborhood to follow up on a hit-and-run incident. The FBI is many things to many people, but seen from the inside where I spent my career as an FBI agent, most of all it is a bureaucracy. The evident abuses of the vast investigatory powers of the Bureau to surveil the campaign of Donald Trump has left a paper and electronic trail as it jumped through the many procedural hoops required for Spygate to unfold. Based on a clue from the Strzok-Page texts and my understanding of the rules the FBI has to play by, it is possible to piece together a picture of how and why surveillance

By any reasonable account, the historic meeting between President Trump and Kim Jong-un, resulting in an agreement pledging to work toward a stable and enduring peace (over six decades after the Korean armistice was signed at Panmunjom) was an incredible achievement. In fact, had Obama or Clinton achieved as much, we would expect a ticker-tape parade down Fifth Avenue. We are in the midst of a spin battle over the Inspector General’s report issued yesterday. Because Inspectors General cannot release their reports without giving those named within it a chance to contest it, and must be able to defend every single word of it, they must stick to facts and completely documentable conclusions. Inductive reasoning, looking at large patterns of facts and drawing conclusions does not survive such a process. The result is a report that is written in a kind of code.
