The Real Constitutional Crisis
Wall Street Journal, by Kimberley A. Strassel

Original Article

Democrats and their media allies are again shouting “constitutional crisis,” this time claiming President Trump has waded too far into the Russia investigation. The howls are a diversion from the actual crisis: the Justice Department’s unprecedented contempt for duly elected representatives, and the lasting harm it is doing to law enforcement and to the department’s relationship with Congress. The conceit of those claiming Mr. Trump has crossed some line in ordering the Justice Department to comply with oversight is that “investigators” are beyond question. We are meant to take them at their word that they did everything

The real Constitutional Crisis goes far beyond Worse Than Watergate or Spygate. It is this: that a political party based on Marxist principles, not American constitutional principles, has been and is being allowed to parade around as somehow a legitimate political party in the USA. Perhaps when all the Spygate criminals are locked up the nation can begin to address this...?

The crisis is because the left, Democrats and the msm are living in a Post Constitutional era first ushered in by their "savior" obama. Where the Constitution is ignored since it was written by a bunch of racist, slave owning "white" men! They expected that Post Constitution era to continue with Hillary where the Constitution is ignored in favor of what the left determines to be fair. They think like Fauxcahontus that we are a Democracy and the majority should rule rather than a Constitutional Republic. So when President Trump exercises his Constitutional powers and reverses all of obama´s EOs and when he violates their perverse sense of fairness they are thrown into an uncontrollable hissy fit! That´s the real "Constitutional Crisis"! God help us!

I though that President Trump was told that he was not the target of the investigation. Did Mueller and his people lie?

Our Department of Justice should be called Department of Injustice until and unless they get back in line of where they belong. These are just Democrats and sympathizers running wild, hiding behind bogus secrecy claims to hide from the public. As far as they get away with it, the closer we come to being just another Banana Republic. A congressional win of Congress would complete the coup.

As Mr. Trump has said, this Russia investigation is a witch hunt. There is a witch worth hunting -- Hillary -- but the FBI and DOJ refuse to do so.

I want this over. Have all the political debates you want. Argue over policy. Spare over the best direction for the country. That´s fine. That´s normal. That can produce a good path forward.

But this nonsense from Obama/Clinton/Democrats -- utter BS that needs to stop. They cannot win at the ballot box. They cannot win with their ideas. So they resort to this type of bovine manure.

President Trump has nerves of steel and is waiting for the perfect timing. Perhaps October, perhaps insurance for when Herr Mueller releases a report, perhaps sooner after the elusive Horowitz Inspector General report comes out. In the meantime so much has been exposed by Nunez! We cannot afford to lose the house in November.

Stefan Halper, Brennan, Comey, McCabe, Lisa Page, Nellie Ohr, Strzok, Priestap, James Baker, McCord, Mifsud?, Downing, Steele, MI6, Home Secretary Theresa May, Langley work group, Lynch, Obama are just some of my favorite names. The corruption is so extensive that we can conclude that the entire FBI must be disbanded. The US Marshall service could be a good place to place the dead wood. As for the proverbial FBI rank-and-file we note that not a single one has come out against the spying; they have lost all decency.

The dems and their deep state collaborators clearly are determined to run out the clock. Thus, the President’s dilemma: are the current stonewalling and non-cooperation actions slowly turning some of the American electorate against the dems, and, if so, for how long? It then becomes a strategic decision as to the best time to “declassify” all of this information.

On the other hand, he must weigh politics sgainst the fact that this is one of the most dangerous threats we have seen to our constitution and its unique form of government, and that the people have a right to know the details and then decide whether or not they want this evil to cease now or be forever institutionalized by those who currently are in positions of power.

The idea that staff at a public agency, funded by taxpayers are slow walking information to Congress in order to get past the 2018 midterms is mind boggling and this is considered ok. No one focuses on this traitorous act. This nonsense is also very much part of a constitutional crisis.

That taxpayer funded bureaucrats are hoping for and probably contributing to the success of a Democrat takeover in the Fall needs to stop NOW!

As several cities continue their suit against oil companies, The People of the State of California v. BP, Judge William Alsup has boiled the case down to its pivotal question. In March he ordered the legal counsels of both parties to help him weigh “the large benefits that have flowed from the use of fossil fuels” against the possibility that such fuels may be causing global warming. We sent the judge, and posted online, a 24-page document that answers his question. While the FBI was investigating Hillary Clinton´s secret server where she kept official emails out of the view of the authorities until her lawyers could scrub them, for some reason, agents never searched the Blackberries or other email devices belonging to her inner circle at the State Department. Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz and his team received a crazy response when they asked FBI agents on the Hillary Clinton email investigation why not. The agents´ primary excuse was to point to "the culture of mishandling classified information at the State Department which made the quantity of potential sources of evidence

Decades of commercial mountaineering have turned Mount Everest into the world´s highest rubbish dump as an increasing number of big-spending climbers pay little attention to the ugly footprint they leave behind. Fluorescent tents, discarded climbing equipment, empty gas canisters and even human excrement litter the well-trodden route to the summit of the 8,848-metre (29,029-foot) peak. It was an extraordinary sight—as the queen and Meghan Markle sat on chairs watching a performance by a group of schoolchildren on Thursday, Meghan leant over and whispered something in her grandmother-in-law’s ear, and the monarch chuckled. Her Majesty then made a canoeing action, in friendly imitation of the kids’ performance, and laughed again. The queen has a fairly simple policy on public emotion which is to not show it, ever, and this is not because she is some unthinking adherent to the principle of the stiff upper lip, but just because it makes life simpler, and avoids people being upset

Liza Minnelli is lucky no one bought her Andy Warhol collection two years ago — she’ll end up much richer by selling off the paintings one by one. It was one of three portraits of Judy in Liza’s collection, which also includes four portraits of herself and three of her father Hollywood director Vincente Minnelli. U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley is just about killing it at the global body. In recent remarks to the General Assembly, Haley first condemned the anti-Israel faction of the bunch for using the global body for politics, not peace promotion. And then, dramatically enough, she brought to vote a U.S.-penned measure that explicitly faulted Hamas for violence at the Gaza border — a measure that was tacked on as an amendment to an anti-Israel resolution and that actually received the thumbs-up from the majority of the voting parties. Did you get that? It actually received a majority backing. This Haley amendment

Phil Mickelson´s 48th birthday took a stunning turn at the US Open on Saturday when he stopped a putt from rolling off the 13th green. Clearly at the end of his tether after a shocking run of bogeys in his third round, the much-decorated American embarrassed himself when another putt rolled past the hole.
