A plastic surgeon who filmed herself singing and dancing around the operating table as she performed procedures was accused of leaving a patient with “catastrophic” brain damage. Dr. Windell Davis Boutte uploaded over 20 clips of herself prancing around next to patients while singing along to hip-hop tunes. She even sliced someone open for the camera as “Cut It” by O.T. Genasis blared out in the background. Icilma Cornelius suffered heart failure after being pushed into having a pre-wedding tummy tuck at Boutte’s clinic in Lilburn, Georgia, in February 2016, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. FTA:

Boutte, who has settled five malpractice suits in the last four months, with four more pending, is still working as a cosmetic surgeon.

Her clientele is predictable. Easy marks.

About 30 years ago, our dentist retired and some younger dentist took over his practice. I went to my next appointment and there was this awful pop music playing - too crummy & loud for me - and the dentist proceeded to sing & bounce around with the music. I asked him why the "noise" in a professional setting? He looked at me like I was a space alien. I never went back. Recently, we again had to switch to another dentist (different office this time), due to retirement of the one we liked. Again, with the stupid music. I asked why the music & was told so other patients wouldn´t hear any conversation. My wife continues to go to him but I haven´t been back & need to find a sane dentist. Hope I don´t get one like this so-called surgeon.

Enough is enough. I know she is a member of a protected group but this is beyond the limit. Surely the Georgia AMA will yank her license.

I don´t know how she was able to buy malpractice insurance with a record like that. Maybe she couldn´t and was going without.

Mrs. Southron:
I was a student nurse in Birmingham Alabama 30 years ago, and was doing rounds in order to see different doctor specialties. I and my group stood in the sterile aisle and watched as a University of Alabama Medical Hospital surgeon (white- middle-aged) blasted "I Can´t Get No Satisfaction" throughout the surgical theater while he went to the elderly male´s open arm and began to pull on veins, etc., making the unconscious patient´s fingers "move to the beat" of the Rolling Stones. The surgical staff was joining in the laughs. - I knew from studying that that man´s arm would be permanently damaged, or at least he´d have serious pain for the get-go. Some fun. Surveillance cameras MUST be the LAW for all surgeries!

The videos are staged. The ´surgery´ is staged and not real. One doesn´t need to see a real surgery, just watch TV and notice the differences. No attempt at sterile technique in the videos. I serious doubt any of the videos are on the pateints mentioned. She may have bad outcomes but the videoes are not evidence of her work but more for entertainment.

fta: "The 55-year-old’s heart stopped eight hours into the procedure, but Boutte’s office was not equipped to handle the medical emergency and had to call an ambulance."

8 hours?? For a "pre-wedding tummy tuck"?? The average TT takes maybe 2 to 3 hours. A Panniculectomy, maybe 5 tops. Why was this woman on the table and under for 8 hours? She was not that large but still, this surgery should have been done at a real outpatient surgical facility or maybe should not have been done at all without a more through exam of the patient and her medical history.

It also sounds like the surgery was not done in a surgical center but in her office. ??? When I had my reconstruction done, it was in the outpatient surgical unit at our normal hospital. The ER was literally a hall away and the ICU was up a set of elevators if needed.

Where they operate is as important to me as who is operating when I am picking a surgeon.

Protesters burn Mississippi flag,

A group of about 30 demonstrators on Monday burned a Mississippi state flag, saying it symbolizes the racism at the heart of the state’s problems with poverty, education and healthcare. Demonstrators with the Poor People’s Campaign burned a Confederate battle flag and then a separate Mississippi state flag Monday in front of the governor’s mansion. Mississippi’s flag has contained the Confederate battle emblem since 1894, and residents who voted in a 2001 statewide election chose to keep the emblem on it. The campaign includes activists in 40 states who are demonstrating, seeking to force communities to address poverty. They say

American women live under a suffocating patriarchy. Rape culture flourishes in the US. Toxic masculinity stunts the emotional and professional growth of American females. Sexual harassment and predation are ubiquitous in American workplaces. These propositions are self-evident to a large, interlocking establishment of government bureaucrats, progressive politicians, college administrators, faculty, “activists,” professionals and journalists. Yet this same establishment is up in arms over a recent declaration by US Attorney General Jeff Sessions that female aliens caught trying to enter the country illegally will no longer be

You can’t judge a book by its cover — but a Father’s Day card, that’s a different story. Just ask American Greetings, which caught plenty of grief on Thursday for its tone-deaf “Baby Daddy” card. The card, which was quickly removed from the greeting card company’s Web site — as well as from Target, where it was being sold — featured a silhouetted black couple on the cover behind the two-word greeting. It’s obvious the Cleveland-based card maker hadn’t checked the Urban Dictionary before approving the card and shipping it to stores. Had it done so, it would have learned that Baby Daddy means: “The father of your child,

Several gun-related businesses were suddenly — and without warning — disrupted in recent weeks when Intuit stopped processing credit card payments because sales were gun-related, The Post has learned. Some of the payments stopped didn’t even involve firearms, but simply T-shirts and coffee mugs and gun safety classes, according to small business owners. As a result, the businesses had to scramble to track down customers to get them repay their bills after Intuit credited back to customers’ accounts the purchases — even if the T-shirt was already shipped or the class already taken, one businessman told The Post. Last week, the House of Representatives — by a margin of more than 10 to 1 — approved a completely gratuitous, blatantly unconstitutional bill that would make assaulting a police officer a federal crime. The lopsided vote was a bipartisan portrait in cowardice that vividly showed how readily politicians forsake their oaths of office to keep their hold on power. The Protect and Serve Act prescribes a prison sentence of up to 10 years for anyone who “knowingly assaults a law-enforcement officer,” thereby “causing serious bodily injury,” or “attempts to do so.” Such conduct is, of course, already illegal in
