Gun-control advocates are threatening to boycott Publix Super Markets over the company’s donation to a gubernatorial candidate in Florida who has called himself a “proud NRA sellout.” Publix, a large grocery chain in the southeastern U.S., reportedly gave $670,000 to Adam Putnam, who is running in the Republican primary as voters choose a replacement for the departing GOP Gov. Rick Scott. Putnam, who currently serves as Florida’s commissioner of agriculture, opposed stricter gun-purchasing regulations passed by the state legislature and signed by Scott following the Parkland school shooting. Comments:
The audacity of liberals knows no bounds—their way or the highway. They dare to preach about social and economic equality while attempting to suppress Constitutional liberties of Americans they deem unfit, unacceptable. Freedom loving Americans would do well to remember a quotation attributed to Pastor Martin Niemoller: “First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Socialist. ... Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.”

Free speech for me but not thee ?
Publix is a privately held company and they can support whomever they please.

However, not pleased with a recent article posted about Putnam letting Publix slide on bad food.

Putnam sounds like a man to vote for.

This will get very little traction outside of Gainesville.

Well, if libtards don´t want to buy from Publix, then good riddance. Libtards are the type that would go into the store and poison everything they could. Wouldn´t surprise me.

Sounds like more laughable liberal lunacy.

If you don´t like Publix, try living in a State without one. Harris-Teeter and H-E-B come close, but not quite.

Go ahead and boycott. The results will be like the boycott of Coors, Chic-Filet, and the firearms industry. All are thriving since the boycott´s were announced.

Think I"ll go buy another one...
And yes, background checks are surging...every time some dipstick liberal shouts ´gun control´....they are the best gun salespeople ever, except for old obammie...
