F.B.I. Used Informant to Investigate
Russia Ties to Campaign, Not to

WASHINGTON — President Trump accused the F.B.I. on Friday, without evidence, of sending a spy to secretly infiltrate his 2016 campaign “for political purposes” even before the bureau had any inkling of the “phony Russia hoax.” In fact, F.B.I. agents sent an informant to talk to two campaign advisers only after they received evidence that the pair had suspicious contacts linked to Russia during the campaign. The informant, an American academic who teaches in Britain, made contact late that summer with one campaign adviser, George Papadopoulos, according to people familiar with the matter. He also met repeatedly in the

Entered my home the other day to find a guy in a balaclava handling my video gear. At first I was concerned but he assured me he was just there to make a appraisal. He wanted to assure my having adequate insurance should such ever be needed.

Whew! I was scared there for a minute.

The New York Times has essentially outed the CIA and FBI informant as Stefan Halper tonight in yet another lengthy justification article citing the reasoning from the perspective of the corrupt intelligence officers who conducted the surveillance and spying operation against the Trump campaign.

Wherein the NYT writes Apologia Pt.II for the FBI´s politically motivated and disgraceful spying on the Trump campaign. As the WSJ´s Kim Strassel wrote, this is a very big deal. Notice how both the Times and the Wapo´s articles are from leaks from the very same DOJ that is arguing that it can´t give the same information to elected members of Congress. While the media tries to make it all about who the informant is, and how important it is to shield this poor soul from being named, what on Earth difference does his identity make? The fact that he was paid to spy and did spy on the Trump campaign and did work to entice campaign members into the appearance of communication with Russians is the overarching point.

Keep in mind, which is what I am sure the traitors in this case are doing, as defendants, they do not have to prove anything, the prosecutor must prove their guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. They all walk if their lawyers can raise a reasonable doubt in the minds of the jury while the bums sit there and smugly smile knowing they don´t have to answer a single question if they don´t want to. All the mea culpa coming out is to plant the seeds of reason doubts - as in if it´s in the Times it must be true. Although that has been completely denounced myths have a way of sticking around long passed the obvious.

Once a party begins to testify, and say they have evidence, as the NYTs, FBI, and DOJ, are doing here, they are subject to cross-examination of those witnesses, and the production of their evidence. Congress should be provided with unredacted copies, and the witnesses brought before Congress to testify.

It seems to me that an investigator would properly identify themselves and their purpose and ask questions.

A spy would NOT identify their purpose.

I vote that Halper was a spy and the FBI had no valid evidence or justification for him to carry out his mission.

Even today they can explain WHAT they did but provide no valid justification for doing it. That´s illegal. It would be bad to do it even against a known criminal because everything you then get might be thrown out for using illegal investigation processes. But doing it against an opposition party presidential candidate is simply insane.

Their justification seems to be, "We don´t like you and since we are the government we can do whatever we want to you.". That was the same attitude expressed by the IRS and Lerner, by the EPA, and numerous BO agencies. It´s wrong and should be illegal.

Hey, if it´s OK then I have a big list of people I don´t like and we should get busy ruining their lives. Some raids on the Clintoons, BO, Lynch, Holder, Yates, Powers, Comey, Brennan, Clapper, a bunch of reporters, Reid, Pelousy, etc. would be endlessly entertaining.

Heck, we would just be "investigating".

Some months ago, when ONLY The Conservative was talking about this IG report and the hideous stink that was being uncovered, I commented something along the lines that when the sh** hits the fan, ´the Enemedia will go into full bore, turbocharged, nitrous oxide injected propaganda, spin, coverup mode to try to protect these traitors´.

You saw the first in that NYT propaganda piece which released the code name Crossfire Hurricane. This is the next installment.

Soon it will be 24/7 on most of the Enemedia.

They are desperately trying to get the spin in place, prefabricate the lies, and prepare the battlefield even BEFORE the IG report is released. The guilty ones know that bad stuff is coming their way, and their allies in the Enemedia are trying their best to cover for them.

Whole lot of heavy lying will be coming down, with NYT and Bezos WashComPost leading the way "protecting these great patriots", who are actually criminal traitors.

It houses thousands of women and their children who were caught crossing the border illegally and are seeking asylum in the United States. The report released new messages from an FBI agent who was one of four case officers handling the “day-to-day” activities of the investigation, and one of two FBI agents who interviewed Clinton. The report incites the inference that the Bureau is a severely corrupted organization, tainted and warped by unconstitutional ambitions to meddle in electoral matters. Although Inspector General Michael Horowitz asserted he lacked “documentary and testamentary evidence” to prove political bias ruled in making decisions of great political consequence, clearly he did not mean bias was not present. As with so many other things involving Trump, there´s plenty of emotion but precious little in the way of facts. Roseanne Barr has become untouchable due to the "Valerie Jarrett/Ambien/Planet of the Apes" controversy, irrevocably contaminated by racism. This presents a problem for ABC, which canceled her revived show but wants the show to return in some form because it had high ratings. The apparent solution is to create a new show focused on the daughter character "Darlene," which would exclude Roseanne. Unfortunately, Roseanne Barr owns a chunk of the show, and ABC doesn´t want to be seen letting Barr profit from it, so ABC is in talks to buy the show from Barr so she would not technically profit

The Justice Department’s tepid OIG report, with its risible assertion that there was no political bias in the FBI’s Clinton email probe, suggests that it was written by people afraid to tell the unvarnished truth about the conduct of the federal government’s police apparatus, an agency that openly defies congressional oversight and has participated in a vendetta against a sitting president. The FBI’s leadership clearly hopes that the Democrats will win majorities in Congress and put a halt to the investigations into its multifarious abuses of power. The OIG is loath to face the ruthless reprisals that would inevitably follow

FBI Director Wray has said nothing to reassure Americans that he understands the serious corruption highlighted in the IG report. The FBI´s cover-ups and stonewalling on Wray´s watch add to his credibility problems. Both in is his press conference after the IG report was released, and in his testimony Monday before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Director Wray demonstrated he was more concerned about protecting the reputation of the institution of the FBI than about the astonishing corruption of top FBI officials detailed in the IG report. During today’s hearing we heard about FBI agents who aren’t corrupt and how the Clinton email

Starbucks shares fell as much as 3% in after-hours trading Tuesday after the coffeehouse chain provided a weak sales forecast for its upcoming quarter and said it would shutter 150 stores in fiscal 2019. The Seattle-based company said it would close underperforming stores in “densely penetrated markets” and slow its rate of store growth. Starbucks said it traditionally closes about 50 underperforming locations annually. Starbucks said it expects same-store sales to grow 1% in its third fiscal quarter of 2017. Analysts had expected same-store sales to grow 3% in that period. “While certain demand headwinds are transitory, and some of

Monday at a border patrol facility in McAllen, TX on “CBS This Morning,” co-host Gayle King said the Statue of Liberty is “weeping right now” over the separating of immigrant children from their families. King said “We arrived yesterday afternoon. We went straight to the facility, the location where kids and their parents were reunited. All I can say after talking to the people, watching the people, listening to the people, that the Statue of Liberty I think is weeping right now. It’s unbelievable the stories we’ve heard.” She added, “We’re standing in front of a converted warehouse. This is
