Clapper: It’s ‘A Good Thing’ FBI
Was Spying On Trump Campaign

Daily Caller, by Julia Nista

Original Article

Former Director of Intelligence James Clapper said Thursday night on CNN that it was “a good thing” there was an FBI informant spying on the Trump campaign. Clapper admitted the FBI “may have had someone who was talking to them in the campaign,” referring to President Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. He explained away the possibility of an FBI informant spying on the campaign as the bureau was trying to find out “what the Russians were doing to try to substantiate themselves in the campaign or influence or leverage it.” Obama’s Director of National Intelligence then went on to say, “So,

Comments:
The brazenness of that filthy criminal is absolutely astounding. Until he and his ilk are punished for their crimes they will continue to flout the law and continue their illegal activities. It is even more astounding that he is more concerned about how ´hugely dangerous´ it allegedly is to divulge the name of that spy rather than illegally spying on a political candidate. The pathetic Don Lemon tossed Clapper the softball question so he could make his insane comments.

Would Clapper say that what the plumbers did when they broke into the DNC headquarters when Nixon was President was ok? Obama knew what was going on; Nixon did not. Would it have been ok for the Republicans to spy on Hillary? He is really full of it!

Yes #3, with every revelation that exposes the length to which the powerful went or are just fine with we need to step back and put other puzzle pieces together.

If we caught them doing this what didn´t we catch them doing?

Even though the dirty players have been out there for some time now, this amazes me!
It must be that a flood of information is about to come out, and Clapper is trying to minimize it! And it won´t work - he should be toast, along with Brennan, the Barack Obola crew, Lady Lucifer and her lackeys.
But I ask yet again - Has Herr Mueller and his Gestapo gang granted immunity to the treasonous bast*tds already?
If not, he should be fired immediately, along with Rotten Rod Rosenstein and other FBI and DOJ dirty dealers.
Where are you, AG Sessions???

Corrupt Clapper belongs in the slammer.

The Intelligence Community serves a necessary and critical function but they do not have unlimited power to do whatever they want.

They must adhere to the Constitutional and statutory rights of individuals and organizations. When they trample on any of these rights they must be severely dealt with, including removal from office, indictment, conviction and incarceration.

Clapper should spend time in jail.

Thanks for clearing that up for us, Claptrap.

If it was such a good thing to spy on Trump and plant a mole in his campaign, then why didn´t they do the same for the Bernie Sanders team? If I recall, they had "evidence" of the Russians trying to help Bernie. These intelligence guys are insulting my intelligence with their lame excuses. C´mon guys, put a little more effort into your lies. Next thing you know they´ll claim they did it all "for the children."

The spin is set. We weren´t spying on Trump but only gathering info (that we previously planted)on Russian involvement in our sacred election process. Yes, we were spying but it was patriotic spying (the good kind). Besides, none of this would have ever been known if the election had gone as planned.

In other words, it is a good thing for the FBI to do the very sort of thing Mr. Trump and his campaign are accused of doing; it is okay for Democrats and the FBI to engage in KGB-like tactics to put down a political opponent.

What the hell?! Who do these people think they are? God? Apparently.

So, they had a spy in the Trump campaign, and they still don´t have a collusion charge?

The spy told a very low-level campaign volunteer, who was likely excited he was sent to the UK, that some think the Russians are trying to influence the election, and then he gets drunk and says what he heard to an Australian official who then told the FBI?

More solid proof that the deep state inside the corrupt Obama Administration actively colluded to influence the 2016 US presidential election, and then to attempt to delegitimize the results of that election.

So far, then, here are proven instances of widespread collusion during the 2016 election:

(1) Clinton campaign conspired with the DNC to favor nomination of the Hildebeast over candidate Bernie Sanders -- proven

(2) Clinton campaign conspired with Russian government officials to assemble an opposition dossier on candidate Donald Trump -- proven

(3) DOJ and FBI conspired to downplay and not press charges against the criminal activity of the Hildebeast and her associates in her illegal email server while serving as Secretary of State -- proven

(4) DOJ and FBI conspired to use the Clinton campaign dossier to gain FISA warrants against the Trump Administration -- proven

What remains: no / none / nada / zero / zip evidence that the Trump Campaign or Trump Administration conspired with Russia or any other foreign government to influence the election

These Dims all belong in jail . . .

What James Clapper is trying to do is desensitize the public regarding the very serious and unlawful Banana Republic type corrupt political spying that Barack Obama, his crew, the political party of big government the Democrats, and the DC Administrative and bureaucratic “deep state” carried out against the underdog and “outsider” Republican, Donald Trump and his political campaign to elimate Trump’s chance of being elected, and then after Trump was elected to undo the election by removing Trump from office by any means possible.

Clearly all those Obama appointees running the intelligence agencies never would have taken it upon themselves to initiate such spying activities targeting Trump, if Obama had not given them a “wink and a nod” to perpetrate their corrupt and unlawful actions and plans during the midst of a presidential campaign.

Remember during the time that the FBI was supposedly investigating Hillary Clinton for putting classified information on her unauthorized private computer server that could easily have been, and maybe was hacked by foreign intelligence services, that Obama appeared on TV and publicly stated the Clinton should not be prosecuted, thus giving James Comey the word not to recommend that Clinton be prosecuted.

The wimpy Republicans had better wake up and rectify that political corruption through legal and legislative means, or it will be much worse the next time.

This just proves how corrupt and despicable Clapper and Co. are and WHY we need to press VERY hard to bring them to justice. They are trying to set a tone that they were justified in their actions. They WERE NOT! They acted illegally and we should make EVERY effort to hold them accountable to the full extent of the law.

BO´s administration had a track record of breaking the law with corrupt actions and never paying a price for it beyond some scolding articles in Conservative news sources. That green lighted them to do more. This is how we got where we are.

It´s time to drain the swamp. Use dynamite if need be.

Clapper wittingly did everything possible to lie and deceive. It is not right, not just, and not legal that these people with "political" jobs are permitted to do things that the rest of us would be fined and/or jailed for.

I wittingly declare that James Clapper needs to be brought to trial and the punishment should be the same as us ordinary folks would have to endure. No special "Country Club Jails" for these felons. Throw them in with the rest of the prison population. And that holds for when the THREE Clintons receive their sentences.

They ALL look out for each others backs in the event they end up in the same position. ENOUGH. It is time the people took back control, legally, of America.

1) "Tell me Mr. Clapper, how does what the FBI did differ from the Cold War East German "Stasi," or Stalin´s KGB when it comes to spying on its own people?

The 400-page report, which was completed several weeks ago and addresses Clinton’s use of her private server for government business, is currently being reviewed by the DOJ and FBI. According to sources, individuals mentioned in the reports are also allowed to review the document. It is expected to be “long and thorough” and will criticize the handling of the investigation by

American Urban Radio White House correspondent April Ryan tweeted a misleading comment about President Donald Trump’s celebration of America this afternoon at the White House. Trump held the event in place of the Eagles Super Bowl celebration, which was hastily canceled after only a handful of Eagles players decided to attend. Ryan, a CNN contributor, tweeted out that as Trump began speaking at the event, the crowd “heckled and booed” him and that reporters have “confirmed” this. (Snip) Multiple reporters, including Daily Caller White House correspondent Saagar Enjeti, who was at the event, refuted this. Footage of the event shows

A man wanted on an attempted murder charge was arrested Tuesday morning outside the White House, where he was working as a contractor and had a White House pass, law enforcement officials said. Officers arrested 29-year-old Martese Maurice Edwards of Suitland, Maryland, when he reported for work, according to a Secret Service statement. Two federal law enforcement agencies identified Edwards. Edwards was taken to a Metropolitan Police Department station for processing, the statement said. Edwards was "the subject of a warrant issued out of Prince Georges County, MD," the statement said. A federal official said the warrant was for attempted first-degree murder. The

Former first lady Laura Bush tore into the Trump administration for separating migrant families at the border, calling the “zero tolerance” policy “cruel” and “immoral.” Bush penned an op-ed for the Washington Post, which was published Sunday night as public outcry over the hundreds of children in detention centers intensified. “I live in a border state,” Bush wrote. “I appreciate the need to enforce and protect our international boundaries, but this zero-tolerance policy is cruel. It is immoral. And it breaks my heart.” Bush’s commentary comes as more images and accounts from inside the detention centers have

It lived an uneventful life in Earth´s oceans 500 million years ago, but now this newly discovered creature has an unusual honor: It´s been given the scientific name Obamus coronatus, a name that honors President Barack Obama´s passion for science. (Coronatus means "crowned.") The tiny, disc-shaped animal was about a 1/2 inch long, with raised spiral grooves on its surface. It spent its entire life embedded on the ocean floor, likely never moving, according to scientists from the University of California – Riverside. A second small animal, an egg-shaped critter that may have looked like a raisin, was also discovered.

Michelle Obama joined her fellow former first lady Laura Bush Monday in criticizing the hard-line Trump administration immigration policy that has led to families being separated at the border. Bush, the wife of former President George W. Bush, penned a tweet over the weekend in which she echoed the widespread condemnation of the new directive from Attorney General Jeff Sessions. “I live in a border state,” Bush said. “I appreciate the need to enforce and protect our international boundaries, but this zero-tolerance policy is cruel. It is immoral. And it breaks my heart.” Quoting that tweet, Obama wrote that “sometimes truth transcends

Hillary Clinton weighed in Monday morning on the ongoing controversy regarding the Trump administration’s "no-tolerance” border policy, suggesting that Jesus would not condone the actions of the American border authorities. At an awards lunch for the Women’s Forum of New York, the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee called out “those who selectively use the Bible” to give grounds for the separations, which were reported by the Department of Justice on Friday. “I went to a lot of years of Sunday school — even taught it from time to time. I’ve studied both the Old and New Testament, and what is being

Republican Senate candidate Mitt Romney called on the Trump administration Monday to stop separating immigrant families at the southern border, calling the controversy a “humanitarian crisis” that requires Congress to devise a permanent solution. Romney, the 2012 GOP presidential nominee, declined to blame President Trump or the Department of Homeland Security specifically in remarks to a group of voters at a park here. He called images of children separated from their parents “pretty disturbing” and “heartbreaking.” “I think immediately we should go back to the setting where we’re not ripping children away from their parents, and then we expect Congress to take

LANSING — The unprecedented outpouring of activism from students after the shooting at Marjorie Douglas Stoneman High School in Parkland, Fla., in February is the genesis for a bill introduced in the Legislature last week that would change the voting age in Michigan to 16. "We allow 16-year-olds to go off and get jobs and pay taxes, but we fail to allow them to exercise their voice come election time," said Sen. David Knezek, D-Dearborn Heights. "Young people are setting aside their differences and identifying issues they think need to change. And they can do everything to get that change

Illegal Immigration: The latest outrage by the Trump administration is its policy of "ripping" children away from parents who´ve crossed the border illegally. As with so many other things involving Trump, there´s plenty of emotion but precious little in the way of facts. The furor reached critical mass after the Department of Homeland Security said on Friday that 1,995 children had been separated from their illegal border crossing parents from mid-April through May. That number included, DHS said, cases where the adults were arrested for illegal entry, immigration violations, or possible criminal conduct. The practice has generated a rising storm of protests,

Roseanne Barr has become untouchable due to the "Valerie Jarrett/Ambien/Planet of the Apes" controversy, irrevocably contaminated by racism. This presents a problem for ABC, which canceled her revived show but wants the show to return in some form because it had high ratings. The apparent solution is to create a new show focused on the daughter character "Darlene," which would exclude Roseanne. Unfortunately, Roseanne Barr owns a chunk of the show, and ABC doesn´t want to be seen letting Barr profit from it, so ABC is in talks to buy the show from Barr so she would not technically profit

The Justice Department’s tepid OIG report, with its risible assertion that there was no political bias in the FBI’s Clinton email probe, suggests that it was written by people afraid to tell the unvarnished truth about the conduct of the federal government’s police apparatus, an agency that openly defies congressional oversight and has participated in a vendetta against a sitting president. The FBI’s leadership clearly hopes that the Democrats will win majorities in Congress and put a halt to the investigations into its multifarious abuses of power. The OIG is loath to face the ruthless reprisals that would inevitably follow

FBI Director Wray has said nothing to reassure Americans that he understands the serious corruption highlighted in the IG report. The FBI´s cover-ups and stonewalling on Wray´s watch add to his credibility problems. Both in is his press conference after the IG report was released, and in his testimony Monday before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Director Wray demonstrated he was more concerned about protecting the reputation of the institution of the FBI than about the astonishing corruption of top FBI officials detailed in the IG report. During today’s hearing we heard about FBI agents who aren’t corrupt and how the Clinton email

Monday at a border patrol facility in McAllen, TX on “CBS This Morning,” co-host Gayle King said the Statue of Liberty is “weeping right now” over the separating of immigrant children from their families. King said “We arrived yesterday afternoon. We went straight to the facility, the location where kids and their parents were reunited. All I can say after talking to the people, watching the people, listening to the people, that the Statue of Liberty I think is weeping right now. It’s unbelievable the stories we’ve heard.” She added, “We’re standing in front of a converted warehouse. This is

Fired FBI Director James Comey refused to appear before Congress on Monday to talk about his handling of the Clinton email investigation, and his fired deputy, Andrew McCabe, asserted his Fifth Amendment rights against self-incrimination. Former Attorney General Loretta Lynch also declined to show up for a major hearing where the Senate Judiciary Committee was looking into the inspector general’s report detailing major bungles in Mr. Comey’s handling of the Clinton investigation. Mr. Comey’s lawyer said he was out of the country — though Sen. Charles E. Grassley, committee chairman, said he saw Mr. Comey
