Rep. Raúl Labrador (R-Idaho) lost his state’s GOP primary for governor on Tuesday after giving up his seat in Congress to run. Labrador will be replaced by real estate broker Russ Fulcher in the state’s 1st Congressional District. Fulcher won with about 43 percent of the vote, according to the Idaho Statesman. Labrador is the fourth GOP lawmaker this year to lose a gamble for statewide office. Idaho Lt. Gov. Brad Little, 64, won the GOP gubernatorial primary. Idaho Lt. Gov. Brad Little, 64, won the GOP gubernatorial primary. He will face state Rep. Paulette Jordan (D) in the November general election.

Comments:
Whoa there, partner! I live in Idaho, and I´m pretty sure that most people who didn´t vote for Raul Labrador aren´t anti-Trump at all. Little is a third generation rancher who entered politics in 2001 and has been Lt. Governor since 2009 and was endorsed by the out-going Governor. With all due respect for Rep. Labrador, he just recently slithered out of the swamp and that made me really wary. Regarding Fulcher, I grew up less than a mile from him; on a smaller dairy farm. The family is salt of the earth. I hope the swamp doesn´t taint him.

Please learn how to split a long headline. LCom Staff.

Many have been wary of Labrador. This is not a surprise.

Raul Labrador turned on us like they all do. He started out sounding great, then sold out completely. Republican primary voters know about these things. Don´t mention Republican primary voters to any Beltway Republicans--they´ll have a fit. General election voters are bad enough to them, but they really hate GOP primary voters.

An Oregon woman found dead at the base of a Northern California cliff with her spouse and three of their adopted children late last month likely received more than $270,000 from the state of Texas to help care for the children, according to a Texas newspaper. The San Antonio Express-News reports the state paid a Jennifer Jean Hart monthly adoption subsidies for her children over the past decade. Hart got nearly $1,900 each month, most recently in March, the newspaper reports. Most families who adopt children out of foster care from Texas get monthly payments that range from $400 to $545 per child to help cover care costs until the

Donald Trump was the first presidential candidate since Richard Nixon not to reveal his federal income tax return. Some Oregon Democrats want to try to make him the last. A bill introduced Monday in Salem would require candidates for president and vice president to give a copy of their most recent tax return to the Oregon Secretary of State with written permission that the document can be made public. Alternatively, the candidate could fill out Oregon’s standard income disclosure form for public officials. The requirement would apply to candidates on primary and general election ballots and those wishing to be

CNN´s chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta challenged President Trump to grant him an one-on-one interview. "I dare him to sit down with me," Acosta said during an interview Wednesday on ABC´s "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" when pressed by the host.Despite his confrontational manner in the briefing room, Acosta told Kimmel he has professional relationships with former White House press secretary Sean Spicer and his successor Sarah Sanders. But he said they weren´t bowling buddies after hours — a similar dynamic he shared with communications staffers serving the Obama administration. "We try to have a

A recently engaged couple from Florida were kidnapped at gunpoint, robbed and severely beaten on a trip to Mexico when they were supposed to be looking at wedding venues. Horrifying photos show them sitting at a police station in their blood-soaked clothes soon after they managed to escape.

In case you somehow missed the legitimately insane drama, it was recently revealed that A) Meghan Markle´s brother wrote an open letter asking Prince Harry to call off the royal wedding, B) Meghan Markle´s dad staged paparazzi photos, and c) Meghan´s Markle´s dad was so upset by A and B that he canceled his plans to come to the wedding and is now reportedly in hospital for heart surgery. So how does The Queen feel about this turn of events? HRH is reportedly "very angry" with Thomas Markle Sr. for selling staged photos of himself, and honestly having The Queen

Democrats, the mainstream media, and left-wing reporters are twisting President Trump’s words in calling MS-13 illegal alien gang members “animals.” During a roundtable discussion of California’s sanctuary state laws, Fresno Sheriff Margaret Mims mentioned to Trump the difficulty of working with the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency to notify them of an illegal alien MS-13 gang member. In response, Trump called the MS-13 gang members “animals,” as he’s done in the past. Wednesday on Bloomberg, Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN) said the government should “start talking about” regulating pay disparities between CEOs and the average worker. Ellison said, “As you know, under the Dodd-Frank Financial Reform Act, it became required that the publicly traded companies would have to report the ratio between CEO pay and the median worker. It took about five years or more for the Securities Exchange Commission to create a rule. They finally did so now we have a data set of about 225 public the traded companies. We find that CEOs are paid an exorbitant amount of money’s compared workers.

Under John Brennan, the CIA operated as an opposition research outfit for the Hillary Clinton campaign. It appears from leaked news stories in the British press that Brennan’s oafish spying on Trump began around April 2016, right after Trump’s biggest primary victories. As it became urgently clear to Brennan that Trump was going to face off against Hillary, Brennan turned to “intelligence partners” in Europe for dirt on Trump. But they didn’t have any, save some pretty skimpy material on “contacts” between Trump campaign officials and Russians. Whatever Brennan collected was so insubstantial that Robert Mueller

Top Trump administration officials and Republican lawmakers offered heartfelt tributes to John McCain Tuesday night at the International Republican Institute’s annual freedom dinner, striking a marked contrast to the continued controversy facing the White House over its handling of a crude closed-door joke about the Arizona senator. “Tonight, there is a man standing here right beside me, and you and I can see him in our mind’s eye,” said Defense Secretary Jim Mattis, one of the Freedom Award recipients. “He’s a giant, in my mind, of American public life. A family-of-five say they have never been happier after selling their five-bedroom house and everything in it - in order to move into a 180sq ft trailer. Renovator Dino Petrone, 36, blogger Ashley, 32 and sons Gabe, 8, Gavin, 7 and daughter Quinn, 4, from Ventura County, had what many would consider an ´ordinary´ life in California. However when the family stumbled across a piece of land they described as ´perfect´, they decided to downsize in order to make it their own, swapping their family home for the $8,000 (£5,900) trailer, which they´ve turned into a luxurious abode to rival

Democrats in Iowa, like Democrats everywhere, have gone around the bend. Last Thursday, Tom Steyer, a leftist hypocrite of epic proportions, headlined a town hall in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A woman in the audience said that she couldn’t see any difference between President Trump and Adolf Hitler. Steyer suggested that a fine distinction might be drawn, but added that the urgency to impeach Trump–a nationwide campaign that Steyer is spearheading–derives from the risk that if permitted to remain in office, Trump may murder millions: [Video] These people are crazy, obviously. Free Markets: Big businesses in Seattle face a substantial new tax to build more affordable housing. This is after the city thwarted private developers who were building affordable housing on their own dime. Only to government officials could this make any sense. This week, the city council unanimously passed a "head tax" of $275 per full-time worker on any company in the city that makes more than $20 million in gross revenues. The city says the $48 million in new taxes will go toward affordable housing and providing emergency services for the city´s swelling homeless population. Major employers like Amazon.com
