Conservative student´s parting shot at
college´s anti-gun policies goes viral:

A conservative woman who recently graduated from Kent State University has received threats after she took aim at her school’s anti-gun policies in a photo shoot where she carried an AR-10 and wore a cap that said, “Come and take it.” Kaitlin Bennett, a 22-year-old Second Amendment supporter from Zanesville, Ohio and founder of Liberty Hangout at Kent State, a student media outlet that promotes libertarian values, posed in front of the Kent Student Center for the tweet that has gone viral. Now that I graduated from @KentState, I can finally arm myself on campus. I should have been able

Cool. And Leonidas´ brave words still echo down to us, 3000 years later. Molon Labe, Come and take them!

The AR-10 is the older, bigger brother of the AR-15, and uses the 7.62 NATO cartridge (.308 Winchester) a far more powerful, harder hitting cartridge. And she is right, even the rare, full auto versions of the AR-10 are properly battle rifles which use full power rifle cartridges, not assault rifles which use less powerful cartridges. All that you can buy today are semi-automatic, as she says.

Well said, young lady.

We should be able to buy selective fire, and not just those manufactured prior to 1986, either. And we shouldn´t have to ask ´permission´ from the government to do so. Over the past century the commies/leftards gradually worked to disarm us.
American citizens should be armed as well as our modern military. Anything else is a blatant violation of the 2nd amendment, no matter if they try to do it via a tax or edict.

Good for her!

I´m willing to bet some of the death threats came from her former professors. Nothing like a liberal to condone violence for their own ends while taking away protections from their intended victim.

Clips are only in Garands and Mannlicher-type magazine rifles, except for the stripper kind....and they have no poles or pasties. Everybody else has magazines.

A Leftist Core Belief: Denying Evil

A fundamental problem with leftists is their refusal to believe that some people embrace evil. The leftist idea that anyone who isn´t directly opposing the left can´t be evil, only misguided, underlies many key leftist policies. Take gun control. It´s premised on the idea that people don´t kill people; guns do. But we know that removing guns does not stop evil men from murder; contrary to the leftist´s deeply held belief, Cain didn´t murder Abel with an assault rifle. After all, if some men weren´t evil, why would Great Britain now be starting to control knives? Because leftists reject the

To put this story into context, let´s go back to 1899 and the publication of Johann von Bloch´s book Die Zukunft des Krieges (The Future of War). Bloch was a 19th-century railway magnate who had built the Warsaw to Moscow railway. In those days, the best and the brightest worked on optimizing the productivity of railroads through operational analysis. Bloch applied insights from managing railroads to theorizing about the conduct of war. His big insight, original at the time, was that wars would be won by the country with the biggest industrial output. This is the same as the Soviet

After being offered an opportunity to sing the national anthem before a Nevada minor league baseball game, a woman has decided to turn it down after learning that she can’t bring her gun to the stadium. Alishia Wolcott was picked by the Reno Aces to sing after she submitted an audition tape in March, she told Fox News. But after she and her husband went to the stadium on Saturday to attend a game as spectators, they saw security included metal detector wands, which she claimed was a new measure this year. A judge in Massachusetts on Friday ruled against a lawsuit that questioned the state’s ban on assault weapons and large-capacity magazines, declaring that the weapons were not protected by the Second Amendment. Assault weapons are considered to be military firearms, U.S. District Judge William Young said in his ruling, therefore disqualifying them from being included in a citizen’s right to “bear arms.” Policy makers, rather than the courts, were better suited to decide on the regulation for the weapons, he said. "Other states are equally free to leave them unregulated and available to their law-abiding citizens," Young said in his

Teams will be fined for any personnel that "do not show proper respect for the flag and Anthem” on the sidelines. Other journalists were hearing similar things from players they talked to.
