The Senate´s laziness wouldn´t
be accepted in any other job

Washington Examiner, by Rachel Bovard

Just how lazy is the Senate? If you need just one metric to measure this, consider the following: The Senate has had just one amendment vote this entire year. Many outside observers chalk the Senate’s glacial pace and lack of debate up to polarization and gridlock. But a closer observation reveals that gridlock has little to do with it. Rather, laziness does. I’ve spent the better part of the last year writing about ways in which the Republican Senate wastes time: working 2.5 days a week, engaging in endless quorum calls, and allowing the Democrats to run roughshod over the

Comments:
Amen to that! That statement could apply to all of the drones in DC. The lack of will and expediency from McConnell really astounds me. You would think that since he is treated so well by Trump he would do more. There have been a number of articles written that state that congress has sent over many bills only for them to die in the senate. That body has become totally worthless. Of course isn´t helped because of the total obstruction from the filthy hack Schumer. His behavior is reprehensible.

It´s not so much laziness as it is the entitlement mentality of the elite. Even if they go to Washington with all the best intentions, the swamp, seems to either teach them that it is stupid to not get as much of the goodies available, or if they want to keep their self respect, and not participate, they get steamrolled by the good old boys, telling them how it´s done in the swamp. Yet their employers keep rehiring them and sending them back, until they die.......or decide to go home for good and take a long long hot shower to clean the swamp slime off themselves.

I would prefer the Senate and House take a Rip Van Winkle approach to their jobs, i.e. screwing around with my life. The Founders knew no law has EVER enhanced liberty, so they made it very difficult to make law. I support the Founders and their view of government.

President Trump is goal oriented and results driven! That is what business executives do, time is money!

Politicians in general want the “Issue” results are secondary!
DACA is exhibit one, budget exhibit number two, appointee confirmation, three Spacial Prosecutors , four, etc.
That is what they do, only the military and President Trump are results driven!
This historical, debating is a politician’s goal.

The worthless GOP were able to vote a bill in favor of net neutrality. It never ends. And the GOP Senate voted day one in favor of a special prosecutor to harass the new Republican President for the entirety of his term in office. That is the GOP Senate, and it is very warmly despised.

Former White House adviser Anthony Scaramucci said Friday he won´t to a cable TV show with Stormy Daniels lawyer Michael Avenatti, and joked that one reason why is because Avenatti is bald. WASHINGTON — Since Donald J. Trump began dominating American politics more than two years ago, Democrats concerned about his policies and behavior have taken solace in a group of influential Republicans who have consistently assailed the president as anathema to the values of their party, and the country more broadly. In the past year, however, influential liberal donors and operatives have gone from cheering these so-called Never Trump Republicans to quietly working with — and even funding — them. Through invitation-only emails and private, off-the-record meetings, they have formed a loose network of cross-partisan alliances aimed at helping neutralize President Trump,

‘Cruz just dropped out of the race. It’s going to be a Clinton Trump race. Unbelievable.” It was a little after midnight on May 4, 2016. FBI lawyer Lisa Page was texting her paramour, FBI counterespionage agent Peter Strzok, about the most stunning development to date in the 2016 campaign: Donald Trump was now the inevitable Republican nominee. He would square off against Hillary Clinton, the Democrats’ certain standard-bearer. The race was set . . . between two major-party candidates who were both under investigation by the FBI. In stunned response, Strzok wrote what may be the only words we need to know,

The conceit of those claiming Mr. Trump has crossed some line in ordering the Justice Department to comply with oversight is that “investigators” are beyond question.
