Pyongyang’s state news agency, KCNA, quoted from Pyongyang’s first vice minister of foreign affairs Kim Kye Gwan who insisted bilateral relations between the US and North Korea “would be clear” if Donald Trump speaks of a Libya-style denuclearisation. KCNA’s statement added the Republican firebrand would be a “failed President” if he acted in the same way as those that came before him. Kim Jong-un has put peace between Pyongyang and the rest of the world in doubt after he blasted upcoming military drills between the US and South Korea. Despite the protest from the despot leader, both nations have committed to

Rupert, and his UK media minions...mad at work.

But he still gets invited to the WH for state dinners...?

Is Sean Hannity feeling the heat and now best buds with POTUS...? Why is Kimberly Strassel so reluctant to name Stefan H., specifically in her reporting.

Don´t forget Glenn Simpson and the Wall Street Journal in all of this.

I have been waiting for someone to bring up the spectre of Muhammar Qaddafi to Kim Jong-in (spell check changes un to in)

What happened to Qaddafi was so destructive (IMHO) to our nation´s reputation - how can you trust America if they let you down like that? Gaddafi DID become an ally - even if you hated him forever for his part in previous actions, he DID become an ally -

but the USA let him down - I understand (from an article read at the time) that he desperately implored the Pentagon for assistance but his pleas were unanswered - Hillary Clinton put the kibosh on any help for him. Why was Hillary Clinton, Secretary of State, able to overlap into the Department of Defense and make a decision there?

In the aftermath of Qaddafi´s death, Nation of Islam leader castigated President Obama for letting this happen to "our brother" -
he was in shock over this being allowed to happen (I believe Qaddafi, Reverend Wright and Farrakhan were allied).

Wasn´t this a tremendously scary thing to any Muslim leader in the region who contemplated aligning with the US and turning away from terrorism?

Did China get to Kim and warn him not to get too enthralled with the US?

If anyone can straighten this out and make things better, it is President Trump.

They are correct to object to example of Libya. The US demanded Qaddafi give up his nukes, which he did, then they killed him. Obama, Hillary, McCain and others used $1 billion US tax dollars to destroy Libya, murder Qaddafi, and create permanent misery. Libya is now a terror haven, an open slave market, and pathway for flood of Africans to Europe. We came, we saw, he died, said Hillary. The same endless war industry still runs the US. Even Trump sees the US weapons industry as a jobs program.

First, obvious- Trump-Moon-China talks with the North´s Li´l Kim, were instantly successful because Kim is in trouble and knows it. Trump typically approaches his adversaries with something he knows they want. Kim desperately needs money. But, the sanctions, the toughest Kim has ever experienced, are hurting. Then trump sends the message, I can get you all the money you could ever dream of and set you up in ultra luxury and world respect and turn North Korea into a fantastic playground- remember how Kim was enamored of the Winter Olympics in S. Korea? That´s what Kim wants. So, Trump merely offered a deal Kim could not refuse and overnight, Kim goes for it. Like a kid rushing to the bottom of the Christmas tree on Christmas morning.

Why did Kim go sour on South Korea and not Trump? How in his mind does he separate the two? Because the South wants more than peace- they want reconciliation leading to reunification! And that is scary as can be to Kim. Kim is not a real leader or savvy business man. He is a petty potentate clinging to power through terror only. To have a real state, run on economics, laws and business is out of the question for Kim. He would instantly be shown to be the real fool he is.

He would give up his nukes in exchange for world support of his little luxury bunker he calls North Korea. But, never is he willing to climb out of it.

President Trump has to let this “peace talk” deal with North Korea play out before he moves on to his military options. It Trump is forced to take up military options to get rid of the North Korean nuclear option, chances are he will meet big opposition from the liberal South Korean President whose Capitol City Seoul is located about 25 miles from thousands of North Korean long range artillery positions that if they open fire could cause a lot of South Korean casualties. Then it will be tough, does Trump then put American cities targeted by long range nuclear weapons ahead of what could happen in Seoul if Trump decides to attack the North Korean long range missile and nuclear weapons facilities?

Teams will be fined for any personnel that "do not show proper respect for the flag and Anthem” on the sidelines. Other journalists were hearing similar things from players they talked to.

The conceit of those claiming Mr. Trump has crossed some line in ordering the Justice Department to comply with oversight is that “investigators” are beyond question.
