Is North Korea Willing to Abandon
Nuclear Weapons? Photos Show
Kim Jong Un Is Telling the Truth

Newsweek Magazine, by Tom O´Connor

Original Article

North Korea has pledged to dismantle its only known nuclear testing site, and new satellite imagery has emerged showing compelling evidence that the country has already begun deconstructing the facility. (Snip) Many observers and officials have been deeply skeptical about North Korea´s commitment to denuclearize; the country has long argued that such weapons of mass destruction were vital to its own survival. On Monday, however, top North Korea monitoring blog 38 North published what leading researchers have called "the first definitive evidence that dismantlement of the test site was already well underway."

And the walls came tumbling down.

So they are ´dismantling´ a test site they could probably no longer use anyway. OK.
Trust, but verify. In the case of the Norks, verify times 100.

Dismantling a site that has already collapsed and leaking radiation is not necessarily an act of peace.

The site dismantled itself.
The little chubby guy needs time so he´s going to tap dance while they put a new site together, further away from the Chinese border.
Absolutely nothing is going to come out of this. We will waste time and hope in negotiations and they will betray us in the end. Same old stuff.

The facility fell apart on its own due to structural fatigue. The place was useless anyway! Worse, there´s a radiation LEAK! The fatso and the rest will be wiped out eventually. They need to make the deal to help them with the clean ups.

Are octopuses aliens from outer space
that were brought to Earth by meteors?
Independent [UK], by Josh Gabbatiss    Original Article

Octopuses are aliens. That’s the claim being made by a team of 33 researchers published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal. They are not referring to aliens in a metaphorical sense, but literal aliens from outer space. Since the paper was released on Sunday, a trickle of news coverage has turned into a torrent, with increasingly alarming headlines about octopuses and their extra-terrestrial origins. It will not come as a surprise to many to learn that these claims have been roundly mocked by the scientific community, who have branded the paper – published in Progress in Biophysics and Molecular Biology – as ridiculous and unscientific.

House fails to pass farm

House conservatives killed a farm subsidy bill that would have imposed work requirements on food stamp recipients because they didn’t get their way on tough immigration reform. The House Freedom Caucus’ fit of pique was a huge embarrassment to House Speaker Paul Ryan and a bitter pill for other GOP lawmakers who hail from agricultural states. The 213-198 vote killed the work and job training requirements, which were popular with President Trump’s base. But it also delayed farm subsidies, pork barrel cash that Republican lawmakers crave. Ryan took steps to call for a revote in the future but it’s not clear when the measure

Doctors say former Russian spy Sergei Skripal has been discharged from a hospital, more than two months after he was poisoned with a nerve agent. Skripal and his daughter Yulia were found unconscious in the English city of Salisbury on March 4, and spent weeks in critical condition. Yulia recovered more quickly than her father and was discharged last month. Salisbury District Hospital said Friday that both patients had now been released. They have been taken to an undisclosed location for their safety. Britain says the pair was poisoned with a military-grade nerve agent and that Russia was behind the attack. Moscow denies it,

It’s never easy to say you’re sorry. To admit you’re wrong. To announce publicly, “I made a mistake”. But to apologise when that apology comes bound up with what is, perhaps, the most intractable conflict on earth, makes it a thousand times harder. But that is what I am. Sorry. A few days ago I wrote a column about the latest round of violence on the border with Gaza. It was a cry from the heart. I love Israel. I have always loved it, and cannot envision a time when I will not love it. But in my office, I sit near a television set. And on Monday, I saw the following, side by side. On the left, in Jerusalem, I saw happy faces.

Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report, which is expected to be released within the next three to four weeks to the public, has been turned over to current and former officials for review,

Serial killers may be known for their bloody work, but like the rest of us, they also hold day jobs to bring in the cash. Criminologist Professor Michael Arntfield has examined details of serial killers over the past five decades and has discovered a pattern: that these killers are more likely to be drawn to some jobs more than others. In his new book, “Murder in Plain English,” Arntfield outlines the top 12 professions that most attract serial killers — and the list is frightening. The jobs tend to be practical and “facilitate a desire to kill.” “[It’s a] combination of mobility, power (whether structural or actual), and the fact many jobs also

Ellison said, “As you know, under the Dodd-Frank Financial Reform Act, it became required that the publicly traded companies would have to report the ratio between CEO pay and the median worker. It took about five years or more for the Securities Exchange Commission to create a rule. They finally did so now we have a data set of about 225 public the traded companies. We find that CEOs are paid an exorbitant amount of money’s compared workers.

All Trump displays is “a reality-show facsimile of toughness,” the six-term Arizona senator and former GOP presidential candidate, who for a generation of Washington politicians has defined genuine toughness, writes in his forthcoming memoir.
