after magazine reports allegations

State Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman abruptly resigned Monday following a report in the New Yorker magazine that four women claimed he had physically assaulted them.Schneiderman denied the allegations but said in a statement late Monday: “While these allegations are unrelated to my professional conduct or the operations of the office, they will effectively prevent me from leading the office’s work at this critical time. I therefore resign my office, effective at the close of business on May 8, 2018.” About an hour before the attorney general quit, Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo, a fellow Democrat, had called on Schneiderman to resign

What is it with State AG´s and the abuse of women?

Also, this guy was one of the worst AG´s out there -- is/was a total bully, basically extorted companies out of money by threatening long drawn out prosecutions on trumped up charges. Sweet karma that this guy is finally getting his due.

Methinks Eric Schneiderman is in trouble. He doesn´t deny what happened. Assault and making threats are crimes. Definitely inappropriate behavior. Notice how fast Cuomo cut him loose? Strongly suspect this was known in certain circles. Timing is interesting as well. Both Trump and Rudy G. are from New York. Were they aware of it, and helped the women come forward?

This has been one of many incidents involving our ´leaders´. Our government is so corrupt. NY state government has lots of problems.

The FBI turned over thousands of documents to Congress this week, including details about its use of informants to glean information on Russian contacts with President Donald Trump´s campaign, according to letters the bureau sent to three GOP committee chairmen on Friday. The documents provided this week include details about some of the FBI´s most sensitive programs, including a file on the FBI´s justification to obtain a court-authorized warrant to spy on a former Trump campaign aide in October 2016. John McCain, not too long after seeking conservative and Republican votes in his failed 2008 bid for the presidency, went right after those same conservative voters without telling them, by egging on the IRS to ruin them. That criticism got new wings when reports suggested last week the FBI had an informant working in the Trump campaign.
