(Video) - James Comey´s "A Higher Loyalty" had a very big opening week. Flatiron Books announced Tuesday that sales topped 600,000 copies, a number that includes print, audio and e-books. The former FBI director´s memoir has been one of the year´s most anticipated releases. It includes his accounts of investigating Hillary Clinton´s emails and of his awkward encounters with President Donald Trump. Comey, fired by Trump a year ago, has likened the president to a crime boss who values personal loyalty over service to the country. I´m willing to bet they are being sold in Venezuela and Cuba to make up for all the toilet paper they can´t find on their store shelves. If he's selling so many, why is his book tour reported to be a disaster? Bueller?

Sounds like this is a way to funnel money to Comey by the bad actors in government and outside of it.

Wonder if they actually printed that many, or just claimed a full life-cycle from printed to disposed of, and skipped over the ´it actually exists´ step.

North Korea has pledged to dismantle its only known nuclear testing site, and new satellite imagery has emerged showing compelling evidence that the country has already begun deconstructing the facility. Judge Amy Berman Jackson roundly rejected Manafort’s motion to dismiss the special counsel’s indictment, citing several examples of legal rectitude for Mueller’s aggressive investigation of Russian meddling during the 2016 presidential campaign. “The indictment falls squarely within that portion of the authority granted to the

In June 2012, a tall, mysterious figure turned up at the Ecuadorian embassy in London. He rang the bell, walked in and asked for political asylum. It was Julian Assange. Days earlier, he had lost his long legal fight against extradition to Sweden, where two women accused him of rape. Soon afterwards, the left-leaning then president of Ecuador, Rafael Correa, agreed to Assange’s request, precipitating a major diplomatic row with the British government. And a full-blown siege. Metropolitan police officers swarmed outside the building, ready to arrest Assange should he venture out. It was against this febrile backdrop that Correa authorised a

Special counsel Robert Mueller has withstood relentless political attacks, many distorting his record of distinguished government service. But there’s one episode even Mueller’s former law enforcement comrades — and independent ethicists — acknowledge raises legitimate legal issues and a possible conflict of interest in his overseeing the Russia election probe. In 2009, when Mueller ran the FBI, the bureau asked Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska to spend millions of his own dollars funding an FBI-supervised operation to rescue a retired FBI agent, Robert Levinson, captured in Iran while working for the CIA in 2007.
