#BoycottYeti Movement Erupts After
Cooler Maker Ditches NRA Foundation

Breitbart Big Government, by Awr Hawkins

Original Article

Posted By:M2, 4/23/2018 6:57:10 AM

On April 21 Breitbart News reported that Yeti Coolers cut ties with the NRA Foundation and by April 22 a #BoycottYeti campaign was sweeping Twitter. NRA president Marion Hammer explained the NRA Foundation is a charitable organization that raises money for youth and educational programs nationwide. She noted that Yeti products have long been a staple at Friends of NRA Foundation banquets and functions. However, on April 20, the NRA-ILA quoted Hammer saying, “Suddenly, without prior notice, YETI has declined to do business with the NRA Foundation saying they no longer wish to be an NRA vendor, and refused to say why.

Comments:
You would think that by now businesses would realize that if they want to make more $, they should publicly support the NRA.

Yeti is Austin-based, so . . .

Buy RTIC instead. Less expensive, just as good.

I received a 35qt cooler from my family last summer as well as one of their 5 gallon buckets for Christmas. They really all they are cracked up to be in terms of quality and what once was revolutionary in terms of their intended use. However, other companies have stepped up to this design and this design and craftsmanship and now be purchased elsewhere. If you need this type of cooler , check out those offered by Sam´s Club.About half the price and all of the toughness of a Yeti-plus Sam´s version has wheels and extension pull handle which the liberal version REALLY needs.
Also had to actually call Yeti ( three times)to stop the avalanche of emails (with no ´unsubscribe´ button on their site.)
Should have figured they were leftists. I´m betting they won´t be around very long

Yeti´s prices are outrageous. One of their large coolers is extremely heavy and not worth the three to four times higher price.

Let´s see now....Yeti´s market is mostly outdoor men and they mostly lean right. What is this CEO thinking? This will be an expensive bit of virtue signalling.

What does "doing business with the NRA" mean in the context of an NRA charitable foundation, anyway? Politicizing charities in general seems pathological.
