James Comey goes stale fast,
hits end of his shelf life

Former Federal Bureau of Investigation director James Comey isn´t quite the book bonanza he´s been touted as. His book opening shows it. And, well, look at the book he´s selling: with little more than florid descriptions to speak for his otherwise content-free book, and no big revelations, what we get from it is that he has a high opinion of himself, he´s mad about getting fired, and he wants revenge. Yeah, yeah. And as the subject of his own book, he lacks the usual affection bestowed upon such people from the rabidly left-wing Occupods or the less rabid Hillaryites, because,

Lordy-Lordy you forgot the big pot of money he was planning on with his book tour. Every interview he changes his story. McCabe´s lawyer is out to get Comey, blaming Comey for the leaking.

A sad little big man, who probably was expected to be a basketball star because of his height.
Instead of that, he played politics in an a[political organization, leading to the trashing of reputation of the FBI.
I will no longer view any FBI agent´s comments as automatically being truthful.
Shame on Coward Quisling Comey and the adulterous lovers, and others who corrupted their organization.
And the more the conflicted coward Comey talks, the more he hurts the FBI and DOJ.

When I had no idea who he was I thought for sure as the head of the FBI that he had to be a fair tough guy. I am absolutely shocked to find that he is a lying metrosexual partisan pansy narcissist who almost destroyed our nation. A tip of the hat to Americans and the poll booth, because it was us who saved the nation--temporarily.

A doozy from Chris Buskirk:

Former FBI director James Comey’s 15 minutes of fame are almost over. For reasons known only to him, he has used them to flog a book full of smarmy, self-serving, mendacious claptrap. When his time’s up, he’ll be quickly forgotten just like other momentary heroes of the American left. And he’ll have no one but himself to blame.

Score-settling books full of half-truths, innuendo and tendentious speculation might feel good to write and score big advances, but they’re embarrassing and don’t age well. (Snip)

Even staid Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace called the book surprisingly “bitchy.” But it’s more: It’s an attempt to undermine or destroy the duly elected president of the United States.

Even fussbudget Chris Wallace called the book “b*tchy”.

Only 183 reviews so far on Amazon and still maintaining the 4 1/2 star rating. I would guess that most of these people are employed by the publisher because they include so much over-the-top gushing. The actual first-month sales figures will be enlightening if we can get a correct number. A quick look at the bargain bins will be the best litmus test.

An opinionated tabloid cover can be effective, but only if the point made is so obvious that an entire audience can see and relate to it. It also helps if it is humorous and has a witty headline. What it´s not is garbage that looks as though it comes straight from fake news, or compares apples to oranges in the name of promoting the propaganda of some unhappy terrorist group. With the Jerusalem embassy opening, the Daily News has ventured well into the second category in its cover and is completely disgusting. Look at this putrid cover shot. Chicago is planning to hand over 19 acres of public parkland, occupying a prime lakefront site, to a private entity, for a nominal sum, in order to build a monument to Barack Hussein Obama. Now, a Chicago nonprofit, Protect Our Parks, filed a lawsuit Monday in federal court alleging, according to the Chicago Tribune, that: …established law precludes the Park District from arbitrarily transferring possession, use and control of this dedicated ‘open, clear and free’ public parkland in Jackson Park to a private nongovernmental … entity’s self-determined use,” the complaint says. The complaint cites an “institutional bait and switch” because

Senator Charles Grassley of Iowa, the laconic Midwesterner with a steel trap mind, dropped a major bombshell yesterday with a letter (the full letter appears below -- pdf here) to Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein (who supervises the Mueller probe) and FBI Director Christopher Wray. But in keeping with Grassley’s style that has so often misled his opponents into overconfidence, you have to read between the lines to see where he is heading. In normal circumstances, Eureka, California, would be a paradise. It´s situated in northern California on the Pacific Coast and is simply beautiful, sandwiched between rugged redwood forests and an implacable open sea. The weather is perfect, constantly between 50 and 75 degrees year round. It´s isolated from other major cities, but some find value in the quiet of a more secluded lifestyle. The end result of indoctrination in government schools and mass media that teaches “urban youths” that American society is racist, corrupt, unfair, and unworthy of compliance is the crumbling of civil order. When a substantial group of young males (the segment of society most prone to acting out with violence) think that they have no stake in the continuation of existing social and property relations, they are able to impose anarchy in local areas. When enough people think and feel this way, the forces of order – police, and in extremis the National Guard – can be overwhelmed and powerless
