‘Progressive Prosecutors’ in
D.C. Focuses on ´Restorative

WASHINGTON – D.C. Chief Deputy Attorney General Natalie Ludaway said all of the District of Columbia’s prosecutors consider themselves “progressive prosecutors.” Ludaway’s comments were made during a recent discussion organized by George Washington University Law School titled, "The New Old Jim Crow: Policing Black Bodies in the Era of Mass Incarceration." “In terms of prosecutors, and we consider ourselves progressive prosecutors, all of our prosecutors have been trained on unconscious bias so that they are looking at youths as youths,” she said at the Black Law Students Association and Association of Black Law Alumni Spring Conference at GW. Ludaway said the district focuses

So it is now accepted by the courts that the Law of the Jungle is acceptable in Washington, DC. No wonder the decay continues and shootings increase. Glad I don´t live in that area anymore.

But those "youths" need to understand that when they are in flyover country there is a totally different application of justice.

It just goes to show that the blacks are not interested in equal justice. They want "special " justice.

for those keeping score:
(a) it´s ok for blacks to segregate themselves, be racist in applying justice or with anything else....
(b) blacks don´t want to be judged by anyone else but a black
(c) blacks don´t want to be compared / compete with anyone but...well, no one
(d) blacks expect any and everything to be given to them

We need a return to public stockades.
4 hours shackled into a stock on a downtown sidewalk with people cursing you and spitting on you, maybe even bums peeing on you, would do more than a couple of years in jail playing dominoes and watching TV with your friends.
A LOT cheaper also.
It would also convince some of your buddies that they really don´t want to end up in that position and maybe getting an education and working is a better option.

Restorative Justice has been shown to be little more than a big waste of taxpayer money. There are a handful of centers around DC that cater to this nonsense and spend top...and I mean Top dollar on equipment and buildouts for these ´yutes´ who end up in prison anyway. This is all just more liberal bull to get their hands on more public money to build their own useless little empires.

"Restorative Justice" is an euphemism for letting feral animals roam free to commit further felonies or all kinds of smaller crimes leading up to felonies.

Robert Kagan told a Washington Post reporter that the liberal world order was in trouble "because the jungle is starting to grow back". He described, with a sense of poignant loss, the magnificent edifice that the Deplorables had by inattention let the seeds of nationalism overgrow. But perhaps it not the noise of the jungle that is responsible for the present cacophony. At least some of the frenzy rocking the West stems from the efforts of an ideology trying to hold on to its old dominance. Wounded tigers can be dangerous. Russia, as former president Obama famously pointed out, was objectively

From Hillary Clinton’s point of view, of course: "Tarra Snyder, a student at Rosemount High School in Minnesota, who saw a copy of the book sent to her school, told Fox News she was “appalled” after seeing how “blatantly biased” the newest edition of “By the People: A History of the United States” was toward Trump and his voters. She said it also glossed over all issues then-Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton faced during her campaign. *** The textbook – published by British-owned,

He said he was glad to be out of the hornets’ nest, away from a world so filled with political correctness that it was difficult to get through the day. Life on campus, he said, is rife with so many non-issue “issues” that it’s like walking barefoot on sidewalks littered with broken glass. On Tuesday, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell killed a bill that sought to protect Special Counsel Robert Mueller from being fired by President Donald Trump. Calling the bill unnecessary, McConnell said he would not bring any such bill to a vote. "That´s not necessary," McConnell previously argued. "There´s no indication that Mueller is going to be fired. I don´t think the president´s going to do that. Just as a practical matter, even if we passed it, why would he sign it?" What the late Lionel Trilling used to call the liberal imagination was captured by the plight of two black men who went to a Philadelphia Starbucks and didn´t order anything. The company said 8,000 Starbucks stores would close for sensitivity training and the conscience of an anguished world pulsated with guilt and grief over the arrest of the two men, whose only offense was to stand there. The two men were exactly right: The right thing to do in Starbucks is not to order anything, because the coffee is disgusting. Starbucks´ response, to be sure, was incommensurate with the problem: Rather

As I pointed out last week when the first excerpts from Comey´s book were leaked, these are the same people who until recently blamed him for getting Trump elected. Trump´s supporters, on the other hand, just think Comey is a partisan hack whose public behavior is a bit off the deep

Former FBI Director James B. He has been a lifelong Republican and said that in today’s party, the only Republican he does respect is former 2012 presidential nominee Mitt Romney. He called Mr. Romney, who is running for the open Senate seat in Utah, a “person of principle and honor.”

Washington - Dozens of Democratic U.S. Senators on Wednesday introduced a resolution calling for Environmental Protection Agency chief Scott Pruitt to resign on allegations of ethics lapses. Those relate to the agency’s purchase of a $43,000 sound booth for his office and spending on travel and security. The resolution was signed by 39 senators in the 100-member Senate, which is controlled by Pruitt’s fellow Republicans. Although Republicans can defeat it, the resolution is symbolically important because it represents the most senators ever to call for a Cabinet member’s ouster in resolution, its sponsors said.
