Anchorage: Still OK for anyone to use

Voters in Alaska’s capital city have settled — for the moment anyway — who can use which public bathroom. The answer: Anyone can use whichever one they feel most comfortable in. Anchorage voters (Pop: 300,000) have just defeated a measure to require people to use the restroom according to their biological birth gender. According to the Associated Press, this is the first American city to settle the issue this way. Anchorage thought it had addressed the modern toilet issue with a city ordinance allowing members of any gender to use any locker or restroom that they identified with. Transgender folks were

I encourage males to use the female restrooms and leave it in the same condition as most men´s rooms.

The women will immediately march in lock step to the halls of government to put an end to the transgender madness.

Generally, the mens rooms are far more pleasant and cleaner.

If there is a third option, I will use the "family" restroom because there is only room for one toilet. Years ago I saw one that had a mini toilet for the kids along side the adult version.

Did you notice these particular audience

President Trump’s raucous rally in Montana last week drew a big crowd and national media coverage. Additionally, as we wrote here, it provided insights into the president’s campaign strategy for the next 17 weeks leading up to the midterm elections. Now, it turns out, the rally in Great Falls also created what one Montana newspaper is calling “a firestorm” of controversy on social media over four specific members of the audience. They were priests, wearing clerical dress, carrying Trump signs and seated near the front. The men were also wearing VIP badges. Such things at presidential events overseen by the

Every U.S. president for the past quarter-century has thought he could improve relations with Russia. Two factors have been consistent in those efforts: Their utter failures and, more recently, the powerful presence of ex-KGB officer Vladimir Putin, now president again. Despite a range of rather rigorous economic sanctions by Presidents Obama and Trump, the canny and ruthless Putin has: [Snip] Now comes Putin’s first formal summit meeting with President Trump next week in Finland. This could prove to be a bigger deal than anyone realized over this past summer weekend. Much bigger. On Saturday in the city of light, scientists announced that their trial AIDS vaccine actually triggered an immune response in humans and also prevented infection in monkeys. The test results so far are encouraging and perhaps even exciting. But the team warned there are no guarantees it will work during the next experimental phase, testing it on 2,600 women in southern Africa to see if it prevents HIV infection. “This,” said study leader Dan Barouch of Harvard Medical School, “is only the fifth

Let’s start from the premise that California has way too many people anyway — 39.8 million at last count. [Snip] But government and taxes are not among California’s attributes. According to ads for airline travel, there’s a lot of smiling, dancing and conviviality these days aboard commercial flights over the United States. Anyone who’s flown in recent years knows how true that is. A main issue for air travel discomfort is the seats, which are crammed in closer and closer together to maximize revenue. One theory is this strategy is designed to encourage people to pay more for the seat rows with room to move a leg and breathe. There’s been so much concern over the shrinking seats and expanding bodies that a group called Flyers Rights sued the

This is actually a good news story, but only if you’re a law-abiding, taxpaying American citizen. If, however, you’re among more than a third of a million Americans in a tax delinquent category, well, then this is not a good news story. It seems Congress passed a law three years ago requiring the Internal Revenue Service to cull out Americans who have more than $51,000 in overdue back-tax debts. Then, the IRS sends those names in batches over to the State Department where they file the names to deny those folks new passports or passport renewals. Eventually, they may be

Americans, it seems, are growing increasingly dubious, skeptical, even cynical about many of their once-hallowed institutions. These include especially Congress. But any such disapproval list also contains TV news, newspapers, unions, public schools and even the criminal justice system. Only two institutions — the military and small business — hold an overwhelming net positive opinion in the minds of Americans. The volunteer military has by far the most public confidence — 94 percent with a great deal or some confidence in it. Only five percent have none, according to a new Gallup phone survey of 1,520 adult Americans..

Americans are encouraged to embrace diversity and be culturally sensitive to those who have flouted our laws and invaded our nation. Meanwhile, illegal aliens arriving in America have no such requirement. Instead, trespassing tribes relocate, and when they do, rather than assimilate, they transfer habits and activities indigenous to the countries from whence they migrated. Thus, Americans suffer from illnesses that are easily traceable to third-world bathroom habits (TWBH) and lack of hygiene in the developing world.
