Comey on Trump’s Win: ‘Was

(Video)In his interview that aired on a Sunday broadcast of ABC’s “20/20” with George Stephanopoulos, former FBI Director James Comey said that when Donald Trump won the election over Hillary Clinton, he questioned if the FBI had a role. “[Trump] is now going to be the 45th president of the United States,” Stephanopoulos said to Comey. “The most stunning upset in American political history. And what part of you is thinking, I helped elect Donald Trump?” Comey replied, “A whole lot of me was thinking, ‘Oh, my God. Did we have some role in this? Did we have some impact on the

This shallow, intentionally uninformed person was FBI Direclor? Very telling comment about how both political parties vet candidates for senior positions. Based on current Director Wrays stonewalling of Congress on FISA related documents and apparent lack of interest in the Obama/Clinton scandals, he wasn’t properly vetted either.

And, speaking of salacious, Comey’s wife and 3 daughters must have presented him with one of the salacious pink hats after they came home from their day after inaugeration march against Trump? He must surely wear it proudly.

He was interviewed by Georgie Stephanopoulos who gained fame and fortune by running Bill, the rapist, Clinton´s campaign by covering up all of his misdeeds. George has never had a bad word to say about Bubba who watched and incouraged the drug running in Ark. when he was Gov. Shame on both of them!

You thought it was safe to clear the Weiner drive issue out before her coronation in order to prevent her from having the legitimacy of her presidency challenged, just as Trumps is to this day. If you had any doubt in her election you would have let things play out and taken your chances that the presence of classified material on the pedophiles drive wouldn’t bite madam president in her ample hindquarters.

One of the key takeaways from Comey´s interview, IMHO, was this exchange with Stuffinenvelopes where he plainly states that the investigation into Trump/Russia collusion began before Papadapoulos:

"GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS: While this is all going on in July of 2016, the FBI also opens an investigation into the Trump campaign. Why?

JAMES COMEY: Well-- to be more clear, we opened an investigation into whether there were any Americans associated in any way with the Trump campaign who were working with Russia as part of Russia´s effort to influence our election. And so in late July, the FBI got information that there was somebody who had had-- was a foreign policy advisor named Papadopoulos to the Trump campaign.

GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS: George Papadopoulos.

JAMES COMEY: Right, who had been talking to someone in London about getting dirt that the Russians had on Hillary Clinton as part of their effort to influence our campaign-- the-- our election. And the reason that was important was that was long before the-- there was any public indication that the Russians had material they were going to dump, which they started dumping in mid-June."

Yes, most of us knew this already, but save this admission for your leftist friends who keep using that canard.

FTA: I really wasn’t making decisions based on political fortunes.

What a liar!

“But at some level, wasn’t the decision to reveal influenced by your assumption that Hillary Clinton was going to win?” Stephanopoulos asked.

“It must have been. I don’t remember consciously thinking about that, but it must have been," Comey responded. "Because I was operating in a world where Hillary Clinton was going to beat Donald Trump."

"And so I’m sure that it was a factor," Comey continued. "That she’s going to be elected President and if I hide this from the American people, she’ll be illegitimate the moment she’s elected, the moment this comes out.”
