Three Californias may be coming soon
American Thinker, by Fritz Pettyjohn

Tim Draper is a rich man, but he understands he doesn´t know it all. His first attempt to divide California into six states made very little sense. So he went out and got some people who are experts on the subject. The result, Cal 3, is a political masterpiece. This could work. When California was admitted to the union in 1850 it had only 92,000 people, most of them scrambling for gold in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada. That´s why California´s county lines are so screwy. Los Angeles County now has 10,000,000 people. Alpine County has 1,000. Cal 3 divides the

Three states would allow for 4 more Senators. Most of those Democrats along with the 2 they already have.

What a rotten deal for every tax paying American. I want Mexifornia to secede. Get these lib losers out of America permantely. This 3 crap is just a way to soak the already overworked taxpayers. You give these Rats 2-3 senators and that my friends is the end of America as any person born before 1972 knows it. What a country the open borders, radical feminists, and sex perverts will have. There will be nothing left to leave decent children and grandchildren.

If you liberals want to break up your sinking state, fine, but don´t think we´re just going to set four more seats in the Senate and give you more electoral votes.

If what you call "California" wants to remain the State of California, then fine...you keep your two Senators and you lose all of the House seats that went with the rest of the state.

As for North and South California, they are not states, and as such would have no representation in the House or the Senate until they are admitted into the Union after proving that they are worthy of admission and gain the approval of the rest of the Country.

If you think you´re just going to pull a fast one, think again. People aren´t blind.

It seems he forgot about all the other current States that would have to vote to admit the three new Californias to the Union. Now why would they, especially the Republican leaning States, vote to essentially give California six liberal Democrat Senators instead of the two they have today? Chances are, if the new Californias’ had six liberal Democrat Senators, them and all the other Democrat Senators would always be in a position to control the US Senate and to thus create a very liberal Supreme Court that the Republican leaning States don’t want. If that was allowed to happen, Texas would probably leave the Union.

Obama will stand up and openly admit to being a fraud and ask our forgiveness while Hillary is giving back all the money she stole long before something like this happens.
This loon has been blathering about this for quite a while, the number keeps changing, recently he wanted CA to become 6 states. the Flat Earth Society draws bigger crowds than he does.
Keep in mind that this guy is heavily invested in Bitcoin, CA is so wealthy that some get rich by accident, and he is one of them.

Does being rich mean a reduced brain size. This guy, Tim Draper, is a king size doofus if he thinks the rest of the United States would go along with this stupid idea.
Here´s my idea, reduce the size of the state by one third and give the entire bottom of California to Mexico. Mexico would thank you and change the bear on the flag over to an eagle with a snake.
The upper two thirds would reduce it´s sitting represemtatives by that lost from the south after it is written off. Give all of the state´s debt to Mexico and start with a clean slate. This is too simple I know so leave the ´s...hole´ like it is.

This proposed breakup guarantees two additional democrat senators plus electoral votes. San Francisco being included in Northern California makes it the controlling factor. LA in central California guarantees it´s liberal dominance. San Diego being in Southern California is a crap shoot.

I´ve lived in Los Angeles and Riverside County. I can tell you that if you drive from the Pacific one hour due east, you will have entered an entirely different state.

Every republican in every state has the same problem. State politics are dominated by their liberal cities.

Who would be determining the borders of the states. Can a state be gerrymandered like a congressional district.

If Jerry Brown and California´s lefty supreme court had any say, what plan would they support? Answer: Three states with democratic majorities.

Our Constitution forbids the creation of “titles of nobility.” The Framers thought it was important enough that the prohibition appears twice, once forbidding the federal government from doing it, and elsewhere extending the ban to the states. And Americans, to the extent that they give the question any thought at all, probably think that the ban works: After all, nobody’s squiring about the United States, sporting titles like Duke of Pennsylvania or Earl of Internal Revenue. But now I’m wondering if we don’t have a problem. First, Charles C.W. Cooke, a Brit who just recently became an American citizen, noted the practice of

Before the word "resignation" became a euphemism for being fired, it connoted a sense of public integrity and personal honor. President Donald Trump demanded on Friday that the ´$40,000,000 commissioner´ of the NFL suspend players for a whole season if they kneel during national anthem more than once. In a rehash of last year´s controversy, the President took to Twitter to blast NFL commissioner Roger Godell for not doing enough to stem the tide of players protesting racial inequality in America. ´The NFL National Anthem Debate is alive and well again - can´t believe it!,´ Trump wrote in the tweet. ´Isn´t it in contract that players must stand at attention, hand on heart? The $40,000,000 Commissioner must now make a stand.
