Behind The IG Report — How The Obama
Justice Department Tried To Shut Down The FBI’s
Investigation Into The Clinton Foundation

Daily Caller, by Richard Pollock

The Department of Justice Inspector General report on the “lack of candor” by FBI deputy Director Andrew McCabe also documents for the first time the Obama administration’s effort to shut down the bureau’s investigation of the Clinton Foundation, according to a review of the report by The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group. The inspector general (IG) confirmed in its long-awaited report released Friday that in 2016 the FBI had ongoing field investigations of the Clinton Foundation in New York, Los Angeles, Little Rock, Arkansas and Washington, D.C. The multi-city investigation was launched when agents found “suspicious activity” between a

Actually it looks like Lynch did shut down the NYC Police Dept investigation into Weiner’s laptop, where NYPD found 350,000 of Hillary’s emails, evidence Hillary went to the sex island six times, and Bill 2, etc etc - see Conservative Treehouse article today on this.

There is an ongoing investigation of Trump no evidence there has been a crime. There is abundant evidence of influence peddling by Hilary to benefit the Clinton Foundstion. It now would be easy to prove the case. If any of the donors foreign or domestic would step forward and give details of their quid pro quo, what they bought with what they donated that would do it. I suspect there might be several willing cooperating witnesses. The present government of Saudi Arabia might be one. The Saudis donated millions.

I am wondering if McCabe is spilling everything he knows about this to the IG in an effort to save his hide. He is deeply implicated in all of this but there are bigger coordinators further up the chain.

This is your basic groundhog day situation. Every day another truck load of excrement on the Obama administration and Hillary campaign is unloaded with no ramifications while the never ending quest for trump malfeasance continues with nary a spec of fly crap to show for it.

The common and safe terminology has long since been rendered useless and toothless, such as bias and double standard. This is a coup. It´s also high time for our neighbors who act as though this is business as usual, just politics, to wake up. To my democrat friends I say you are free to believe as you wish but you either support the coup or you do not. Stop pretending we are “one nation” while the legally constructed nation is being deconstructed. Again feel free to declare your support for fundamental transformation, just don’t pretend that this is a legal process, honest process, anything other than hostile coup.

The Obama Justice Department didn´t have to take this action.

All they had to do is wait for the Sessions Justice Department and he would have shut it down for them !!

My thoughts are that most in the past administration are very aware of what is coming with the IG reports, and exactly what the implications will be for them legally.

The most that they can do now, with the help of their pals in the MSM is to try to find anything on Trump to even up the sides. Like apples and basketballs. Law is the law... and Comey doesn´t get to decide who is right and wrong. He is an investigator.. the head of the FB Investagation... no one appointed him to the bench and sadly for him, never will.

Comey is trying very hard to make it personal between himself and President Trump. It´s a common tactic when prosecution seems unavoidable, to make it look like the prosecution is personal instead of for cause. It is hoped that public opinion will sway prosecutors and judges.

I think it is too late and there is too much information that has been uncovered. Comey and the rest of the democrat operatives were a little sloppy because (of course) they thought Hillary would win.

The call was not about the gentle giant Eric Gardner, it was obstruction of justice for the Clinton Foundation less than a month before the presidential election. Whatever you´re doing right now you should stop it and go read Kevin Williamson´s long essay in the Wall Street Journal about what, exactly, happened to him at the Atlantic. It is fantastic and a perfect reminder of just what the Atlantic gave up when Jeffrey Goldberg capitulated to the Twitter mob. Jim Comey’s entire shtick now consists of violating the proprieties expected of a former FBI director. But even as he turns up on late-night gag shows to profit off betrayed confidences, he presents himself as the custodian of America’s “norms.” In between complaining about how his job “sucked” at times and how he felt “pissed” off, he likes to play the holier-than-thou scold. His constant invoking of “values” is an attempt to prettify his plunge into low politics and unprincipled profiteering. Much of his “moral” case against Trump turns not on Trump’s moral behavior or any supposed rejection of fundamental American

WASHINGTON — Federal civil rights prosecutors have recommended charges against a New York police officer in the 2014 death of Eric Garner, three current and former officials said, but top Justice Department officials have expressed strong reservations about whether to move forward with a case they say may not be winnable. Mr. Garner died on a Staten Island street after the police officer, Daniel Pantaleo, used a chokehold to subdue him. Officers had confronted Mr. Garner, who was unarmed, over accusations of selling untaxed cigarettes. His final gasps of “I can’t breathe,” captured on a cellphone video, became a rallying cry

A pro-Trump political action committee has filed a complaint with the FEC alleging the Hillary Clinton campaign laundered $84 million in contributions from big-name donors, such as Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, filmmaker Steven Spielberg, and designer Calvin Klein. The complaint outlines a money laundering scheme that violated multiple campaign finance laws, specifically laws related to limits on contributions by independent donors. As of this week, the complaint has escalated with a lawsuit urging the FEC to take action on the complaint which appears to have been largely ignored by the FEC since being filed in December of 2017. All of the media need to finally understand one thing: Facebook and its founder Mark Zuckerberg don’t owe them anything. Both Zuckerberg and his data-mining company drew scrutiny in recent weeks after it was reported that it had sold information on users to Cambridge Analytica, which in turn used it to aid the Trump campaign. It was an apparent shock to some that when Facebook asks, “Would you like to share your location?” it’s not so that they can send the user a bag of money. James Comey’s new book has occasioned a good deal of discussion about truth and lies and integrity. Although “A Higher Loyalty” is a brisk read with much to recommend it, the central message about how and why truth matters is one that I find troubling. There’s a worrisome bit, for instance, where Comey talks about his prosecution of Martha Stewart on charges surrounding a stock trade, including making false statements to investigators: “The Stewart experience reminded me that the justice system is an honor system. We really can’t always tell when people are lying or hiding documents, so when we

For the first time in the history of the republic, it appears increasingly likely that a majority of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee will vote against the president´s nominee for secretary of state. If this happens, it would be a black mark not on Mike Pompeo´s record, but on the reputation of this once-storied committee. There are no instances of a secretary of state nominee ever receiving an unfavorable committee vote since such votes were first publicly recorded in 1925 (before that, the committee voted in closed session). Democrat John Kerry was approved in a unanimous voice vote, including from Sen.

It was telling that as Tax Day arrived this week, the media’s focus was riveted not on the massive tax overhaul that President Trump recently signed into law, but on James Comey, Stormy Daniels, and Michael Cohen. In their own ways, these three players in the Trump drama symbolize the ethical storms and moral challenges constantly buffeting the president. Those tempests have imposed an unmistakable political cost on Trump—whose approval rating remains far below what might be expected in an economy this strong—and they represent an inescapable threat to Republicans in the November midterm elections.
