Behind The IG Report — How The Obama
Justice Department Tried To Shut Down The FBI’s

Daily Caller, by Richard Pollock

The Department of Justice Inspector General report on the “lack of candor” by FBI deputy Director Andrew McCabe also documents for the first time the Obama administration’s effort to shut down the bureau’s investigation of the Clinton Foundation, according to a review of the report by The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group. The inspector general (IG) confirmed in its long-awaited report released Friday that in 2016 the FBI had ongoing field investigations of the Clinton Foundation in New York, Los Angeles, Little Rock, Arkansas and Washington, D.C. The multi-city investigation was launched when agents found “suspicious activity” between a

Actually it looks like Lynch did shut down the NYC Police Dept investigation into Weiner’s laptop, where NYPD found 350,000 of Hillary’s emails, evidence Hillary went to the sex island six times, and Bill 2, etc etc - see Conservative Treehouse article today on this.

There is an ongoing investigation of Trump no evidence there has been a crime. There is abundant evidence of influence peddling by Hilary to benefit the Clinton Foundstion. It now would be easy to prove the case. If any of the donors foreign or domestic would step forward and give details of their quid pro quo, what they bought with what they donated that would do it. I suspect there might be several willing cooperating witnesses. The present government of Saudi Arabia might be one. The Saudis donated millions.

I am wondering if McCabe is spilling everything he knows about this to the IG in an effort to save his hide. He is deeply implicated in all of this but there are bigger coordinators further up the chain.

This is your basic groundhog day situation. Every day another truck load of excrement on the Obama administration and Hillary campaign is unloaded with no ramifications while the never ending quest for trump malfeasance continues with nary a spec of fly crap to show for it.

The common and safe terminology has long since been rendered useless and toothless, such as bias and double standard. This is a coup. It´s also high time for our neighbors who act as though this is business as usual, just politics, to wake up. To my democrat friends I say you are free to believe as you wish but you either support the coup or you do not. Stop pretending we are “one nation” while the legally constructed nation is being deconstructed. Again feel free to declare your support for fundamental transformation, just don’t pretend that this is a legal process, honest process, anything other than hostile coup.

The Obama Justice Department didn´t have to take this action.

All they had to do is wait for the Sessions Justice Department and he would have shut it down for them !!

My thoughts are that most in the past administration are very aware of what is coming with the IG reports, and exactly what the implications will be for them legally.

The most that they can do now, with the help of their pals in the MSM is to try to find anything on Trump to even up the sides. Like apples and basketballs. Law is the law... and Comey doesn´t get to decide who is right and wrong. He is an investigator.. the head of the FB Investagation... no one appointed him to the bench and sadly for him, never will.

Comey is trying very hard to make it personal between himself and President Trump. It´s a common tactic when prosecution seems unavoidable, to make it look like the prosecution is personal instead of for cause. It is hoped that public opinion will sway prosecutors and judges.

I think it is too late and there is too much information that has been uncovered. Comey and the rest of the democrat operatives were a little sloppy because (of course) they thought Hillary would win.

See also the article by Conservative Treehouse below. Loretta Lynch obstructed Justice by quashing the Clinton Foundation Investigation with threats of transferring the Eric Garner racial investigation to SDNY AG like-minded Preet Baharata. The call was not about the gentle giant Eric Gardner, it was obstruction of justice for the Clinton Foundation less than a month before the presidential election. Loretta and McCabe should be in jail.

In the pre-dawn hours yesterday, the nation experienced yet another mass shooting. One dead, 22 injured, including a 13-year-old boy. It took place at the crowded Art All Night Trenton festival in New Jersey. To their limited credit, a couple of cable news outlets mentioned the shooting in their coverage yesterday and this morning. The New York Times wrote a rather lengthy article about it, though it showed up on page A-17. It received similarly “not prominent” coverage in other major papers. The Associated Press took a fairly deep dive on it, but you need to search around a bit

We have two choices when it comes to border security and interior enforcement. We can continue telegraphing the message that when you come here with children you are home free. This will continue fueling the drug crisis, growing MS-13, enriching the drug cartels, inducing sex trafficking and terrible crimes at the border, encouraging illegals to kidnap children to gain admission, and causing death and mayhem on both sides of the border. Or we could finally deter this behavior by announcing an end to any immigration requests not processed in a controlled environment through our embassy. If you are concerned about

Political spinning about the Department of Justice’s Inspector General’s report that came out last Thursday is all about shiny bits and pieces of the report. It misses the events outside the report’s four corners that magnify its importance tenfold. Let’s pull back on the stick, gain some altitude, and examine some of the more important facts. When we do, we have to conclude that the Augean Stables on Pennsylvania Avenue — the Justice Department building and, across the street, the J. Edgar Hoover FBI building — have to be cleaned out. When David and Shirley Pirlott filed a federal labor complaint against Teamsters Local 75 on Nov. 8, 1987, the day before the Berlin Wall fell, they did not imagine they would have to wait 30 years to resolve the dispute. The Pirlotts were finally vindicated in March 2018 when the Wisconsin-based Teamsters local mailed them separate checks of about $3,000 for failing to allow them to opt out of union dues. The case spanned five presidencies, dozens of National Labor Relations Board members, and numerous appearances before the D.C. Court of Appeals. In the time it took for the NLRB to

It seems that by his own conception, James Comey is St. James, heavenly protector of patriotism and principle. Which is only to say, few men in American history have possessed as thoroughly a misguided self-awareness as our former FBI director. As we now know, the erstwhile hero of the Trump Resistance had both mismanaged and misappropriated his power in ways that may have irreparably undermined the reputation of the most powerful enforcement agency in the United States. When the Justice Department’s internal watchdog dropped a report on the Hillary Clinton e-mail investigation last week, we learned Comey wasn’t merely incompetent, nor was

Onside the Republican party, President Trump is riding high and his critics seem to be running scared. He enjoys sky-high approval ratings from voters who identify with the GOP, and his Republican critics are paying a price for crossing him. On Tuesday, the day that voters went to the polls in South Carolina, Trump slammed GOP representative Mark Sanford and urged Republicans to vote for his rival in the congressional race in the state’s first district: TheRealDonaldTrump @RealDonad_Trump Mark Sanford has been very unhelpful to me in my campaign to MAGA. Brooks Koepka became the first man in 29 years to win back-to-back U.S. Open titles Sunday as he shot a 2-under 68 to hold off hard-charging Englishman Tommy Fleetwood by one stroke at Shinnecock Hills. But a bogey at No. 6 pulled Koepka back toward the pack and he had to scramble to only drop one shot at the par-3 11th after he airmailed the green with a pitching wedge

In late October of 2016 James Comey knew Donald Trump’s candidacy was as dead as a doornail. That must be distinctly understood or nothing wonderful can come from the story I am going to relate. Time soothes the edges of old emotions. We forget the shock of that election night. Almost two years now of articles and TV takes, even books, make Trump’s election seem understandable, even sometimes inevitable. But that’s not how it was then. When FBI director Comey and the FBI dropped their late October Anthony Weiner surprise, they did so fully confident that Hillary Clinton would win. What

Consider, for example, what CNN’s Jim Acosta shouted this week in Singapore at Kim Jong Un, North Korea’s potbellied boy-dictator. “Will you give up your nuclear weapons, sir?" the CNN reporter asked before Kim and President Trump had even sat down for their planned summit on the denuclearization

The Justice Department’s tepid OIG report, with its risible assertion that there was no political bias in the FBI’s Clinton email probe, suggests that it was written by people afraid to tell the unvarnished truth about the conduct of the federal government’s police apparatus, an agency that openly defies congressional oversight and has participated in a vendetta against a sitting president. The FBI’s leadership clearly hopes that the Democrats will win majorities in Congress and put a halt to the investigations into its multifarious abuses of power.
