Woman declines to sing national

After being offered an opportunity to sing the national anthem before a Nevada minor league baseball game, a woman has decided to turn it down after learning that she can’t bring her gun to the stadium. Alishia Wolcott was picked by the Reno Aces to sing after she submitted an audition tape in March, she told Fox News. But after she and her husband went to the stadium on Saturday to attend a game as spectators, they saw security included metal detector wands, which she claimed was a new measure this year. Comments:
Good for her. IMO, all women should be armed. Women are less able to fight effectively against even an unarmed man due to fundamental strength disparity. She is standing up for her 2nd Amendment rights.

Signing about the country where the Constitution is not upheld would be hypocritical.

As I have reached into my late 60s, I have had to realize that running away (bad knee) and fighting off younger men isn´t as workable as it once might have been. I need to be armed at all times, too.

I tend to agree about "seasoned citizen" esp. women being armed. In this case it appears to me to be something like virtue signaling, in a way that I don´t like.

Just shut your yap put away the iron and go sing. This only serves to give fodder to the left. They call us crazy gun nuts and this shows it.

Why anyone voluntarily goes into a place where they are denied their civil rights is beyond me.
To even ask that a person give up their civil rights is a serious affront and one should be very suspicious of the intent of anyone doing such a thing.
Just what do they have planned to do to you that your being able to defend yourself would interfere with? Criminals want unarmed victims, there is no other reason to disarm people in public places.

Yes, they miss out on having a pervert fondle them, or ogle them nude via the booth that sees through clothing, but some sacrifices need made in the name of freedom.

Nevada is an "open carry" state. The woman has a CCW (which means she can legally carry her gun onto school grounds). What is it about "infringed" that the Reno Aces Baseball outfit does not understand.

James E. Hansen wiped sweat from his brow. Outside it was a record-high 98 degrees on June 23, 1988, as the NASA scientist testified before the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources during a prolonged heat wave, which he decided to cast as a climate event of cosmic significance. He expressed to the senators his “high degree of confidence” in “a cause-and-effect relationship between the greenhouse effect and observed warming.” With that testimony and an accompanying paper in the Journal of Geophysical Research, Mr. Hansen lit the bonfire of the greenhouse vanities, igniting a world-wide debate that continues today

The number-one challenge of our times is to separate the wheat from the chaff. To assist in this task, we are blessed with more information than ever before – but we are also simultaneously burdened with more misinformation than any prior generation has ever had to deal with. We look back and wonder how trusting citizens were so easily victimized by snake oil salesmen, but today, in the golden age of cons, we are being duped on a daily basis. As a representative matter (and a national issue of great significance), let´s look at what´s happening with industrial wind energy.

This week has shown how serious and determined the Trump-Pence team is about launching America into a new era of leadership in space – and ensuring our dominance there for generations to come. Consider President Trump’s announcement at the National Space Policy Council meeting on Monday that the Department of Defense will create a U.S. Space Force as the sixth branch of our military. Couple this with the announcement of Space Policy Directive-3, which will create the world’s first official system for extraterrestrial traffic management, along with the continued effort by the Department of Commerce to streamline

A fundamental problem with leftists is their refusal to believe that some people embrace evil. The leftist idea that anyone who isn´t directly opposing the left can´t be evil, only misguided, underlies many key leftist policies. Take gun control. It´s premised on the idea that people don´t kill people; guns do. But we know that removing guns does not stop evil men from murder; contrary to the leftist´s deeply held belief, Cain didn´t murder Abel with an assault rifle. After all, if some men weren´t evil, why would Great Britain now be starting to control knives? Because leftists reject the

To put this story into context, let´s go back to 1899 and the publication of Johann von Bloch´s book Die Zukunft des Krieges (The Future of War). Bloch was a 19th-century railway magnate who had built the Warsaw to Moscow railway. In those days, the best and the brightest worked on optimizing the productivity of railroads through operational analysis. Bloch applied insights from managing railroads to theorizing about the conduct of war. His big insight, original at the time, was that wars would be won by the country with the biggest industrial output. This is the same as the Soviet

A judge in Massachusetts on Friday ruled against a lawsuit that questioned the state’s ban on assault weapons and large-capacity magazines, declaring that the weapons were not protected by the Second Amendment. Assault weapons are considered to be military firearms, U.S. District Judge William Young said in his ruling, therefore disqualifying them from being included in a citizen’s right to “bear arms.” Policy makers, rather than the courts, were better suited to decide on the regulation for the weapons, he said. "Other states are equally free to leave them unregulated and available to their law-abiding citizens," Young said in his

As a result, brands such as Nordstrom, Jet.com, and Gilt dropped Ivanka Trump´s fashion line last year. While Coulter has remained steadfast in her quest to encourage the other 62 retailers, nonprofits, and even a movie produced by Harvey Weinstein to ditch Trump products, the issue has peaked once more among consumers and
