Trenton, NJ — Immigrant students stood up when the vote came down — New Jersey’s assembly gave the final approval needed to send a bill (A-3467) to the governor´s desk that would extend state financial aid for college to undocumented students. Students like Madelyne Montes-Reyes, who left Montclair State University last year because she couldn’t keep up with her tuition payments. Dreamers are hoping Governor Phil Murphy will change that. The 49-24 vote will

Bienvenudo a Nueva Hersey. Rad lib Gov. Phool Murphy says he´ll sign this; along with legalized marijuana, endless tax hikes, and who know what other wonderments, NJ becomes California writ small, minus the nice weather.

New Jersey taxpayers, their state being documented as one of the least patriotic states in the union, deserve every bit of this, and more.

Already, there is a ´recall´ petition circulating.

Governor Murphy isn´t welcome to this citizen´s tax dollars - earmarked for non citizens college expenses.

Big mistake.

Amazing! My husband works 90 hours a week in order to put our son through college and we get no aid but someone who does nothing gets a free college education on our tax dollars.

What´s wrong with this picture?

Unfortunately the new tax bill will kill this Trump voter...sigh...

Migrants have threatened to kill the coast guard crews that rescued them if they take them back to Libya. The Italian coast guard ship - the Diciotti - carrying the migrants docked in Sicily earlier this week. But has since been refused permission to disembark its 67 passengers after two of them were accused of threatening their rescuers. Interior minister Matteo Salvini said he will not let the migrants off until there is clarity over what happened after an Italian commercial tugboat rescued them over the weekend. Italy´s transport minister said some migrants made death threats against the crew.

The Trump administration said Thursday that nearly half of the children ages 5 and under who were separated from grown-ups at the U.S. border can´t be reunited with their parents, mostly because many of the adults are violent criminals – and some lied about being the minors´ parents. President Donald Trump had claimed Tuesday that illegal immigrants and human traffickers were ´using children´ to manipulate America´s immigration system and make it easier for adults to enter the U.S. without papers and remain there. Of the 103 minors in the youngest age group, the administration has reunited 57 with parents, but the other

Trenton, N.J. — New Jersey set aside $2.1 million to help immigrants facing deportation in the state, money that advocates say will go a long way in helping but still falls short of the estimated cost of legal representation. Democratic Gov. Phil Murphy and the Democrat-controlled Legislature signed off on the new spending this month as part of a recently adopted $37.4 billion fiscal year 2019 budget just as the federal government fell short of a deadline to reunite families separated under a federal zero-tolerance immigration policy. Talk about putting the “p” in “protest.” George Lopez, an outspoken and frequent critic of President Donald Trump, pretended to urinate on the POTUS’ Hollywood Walk of Fame star on Tuesday. Clutching a small water bottle, Lopez, 57, greeted fans before squeezing the bottle over the star from his own crotch area, perhaps in reference to the elusive “pee tape” Trump was rumored to have back in 2017. The comedian even included a small shake for effect, much to the delight of onlookers and fans nearby. Once he was tapped out of water, he told his crew, “Alright, let’s go.”

The government’s citizenship agency issued new guidelines this week that will make it much tougher for many of the Central Americans streaming into the U.S. to claim asylum. Asylum officers at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services were instructed to make asylum-seekers prove not only that they were specifically targeted in their home countries, but that their governments either condoned the persecution or were so indifferent that they might as well have been complicit. That undercuts the standard argument given by many of the migrants making their way north from Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala, who describe dangerous neighborhoods and rough home lives

The indictment Friday of 12 Russian military officers for the election hacks against the DNC and Hillary Clinton’s campaign lends a surprising new detail to the 2016 election interference timeline: The Kremlin’s hackers apparently still maintained a foothold in the DNC’s network four months after the Democrats announced that they’d locked the intruders out. Until today, the story of the DNC hack ended promptly on June 14, 2016, when the Democrats went public with the intrusion in the pages of the Washington Post, and Crowdstrike, the security firm hired to respond to the breach, published a detailed technical account.
