Black Caucus members call
for action on Austin bombings

New York Post, by Chris Perez

Original Article

Posted By:mc squared, 3/20/2018 9:55:38 AM

Congressional Black Caucus members want the bombings in Austin, Texas, to be classified as “terrorist attacks” — and are calling on officials to determine whether they are “ideologically or racially motivated.” While the two young men injured in the most recent blast are both white, all of the other victims have been either black or Hispanic. “We cannot stand idly by while our communities are under attack,” reads a statement from the concerned Black Caucus members — which include Chairman Cedric Richmond, Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) and Homeland Security Committee Ranking Democrat Bennie Thompson, of Mississippi

Comments:
The BCC almost gets it right but can´t leave it at that.
It IS terrorism, but holding the community ´under virtual house arrest´?
They also want ´common-sense solutions to stop it.
Might I suggest bomb purchases be limited to those 21 & over?

If they want action, the CBC might want to call their colleagues at Antifa.

CBC cares to the extent that they figure the terrorist is white, maybe because the mode of attack is other than a drive-by or mob violence. If it emerges that it´s targeted action by Latino drug gangs (Zetas perhaps would have the ability to do this), CBC will cease to care because there´s no hay to be made.

They are so much a vacuous dog and pony show that the only way to dispel the suspicions that they are an entirely useless (if not outright malevolent)entity, is to keep inserting race into every possible civil ill, warranted or not. How ´bout we find the ´terrorist´ first? Or must we be distracted by the racist boogeyman because possible terrorist might have certain inconvenient roots?
“We cannot stand idly by while our communities are under attack,” says CBC. Really? Nobody is standing idly by - there´s a veritable hornets nest of activity going on trying to figure who, what, where and all the other W´s of investigation. And the CBC rolls up in the welfare Caddy, exits in a plume of cigar smoke and mirrors to demand everybody already busy stop and see if someone has a bad thought about black people.

Someone needs to explain to the BC publicity seekers that we are all standing idly by while the police do their job and find the person(s) doing this. Until that happens it is rather difficult to determine a motive.

It is time for common sense regulation of items sent by parcel post. Since it has worked so well at airports, we should put the TSA in charge of all parcel shipments. Require that all parcels be brought to the collection center fully addressed and untaped. TSA will then inspect, with the original sender present, the contents and after it has passed the visual, the x-ray, bomb sniffing, and any other test deemed necessary the package will be taped by sender with tape approved but not provided by TSA. The tape will be available for sale for $10.00 for a 5 foot roll. The use of these procedures against anyone wearing a hajib or a BLM t shirt will immediately be considered racist and multiple federal lawsuits shall commence.

A one track mind.

These people are unfit to serve because they lack any interest, or even an understanding, of the wider issues facing the nation.

They categorically never seek to solve a problem; rather, they seek personal gain from the problem and attempt to prolong amd exacerbate it.

FTA: ““We cannot stand idly by while our communities are under attack,”

Please allow me to translate:

We are sitting on our hands doing nothing because the victims are from the minority communities

Thank goodness we have the Black caucus to snap us out of our racism induced trance

Then we have: “For too long we have focused only on certain sources of terrorism and violence while ignoring others.”

Which translated into truth speak means:

We only give a hoot about terrorism caused by radical Islam while we ignore the droves of KKK, white cops and NRA members indiscriminately roaming the streets gunning down and blowing up anyone who isn’t the spitting image of Howdy Doody.

Meanwhile back at the ranch Chicago´s YTD totals:

Shot & Killed: 86
Shot & Wounded: 370
Total Shot: 456
Total Homicides: 104

Victims 90% minority and with minimal reporting on the perpetrators shows 87% also minority.

A group of kids is suing Florida Gov. Rick Scott, claiming he “endangered” their future and violated their constitutional rights by not doing anything to combat climate change. The youngsters filed their lawsuit on Monday in Leon County Court. “It is the responsibility of the state to uphold the constitution, and these young people have a fundamental right to a stable climate system,” said Guy Burns, lead counsel for the eight plaintiffs, most of whom are teens. The youths are being represented by the Oregon-based nonprofit organization Our Children’s Trust, which is supporting similar suits from children across the country.

An estimated 6.8 million Floridians evacuated for Hurricane Irma. Some did so twice. Subtle shifts in the storm’s path sent the east coast scurrying west, then fleeing north where landlocked Leon County ran out of hotel rooms and filled 10 shelters with people, half of whom were from other parts of the state. Gridlock on Florida’s Turnpike meant a 20-hour trek into Georgia as lines of cars jockeyed to escape the Sunshine State, crushing traffic like an accordion against the border where driving on the shoulder was no longer allowed. Washington - Dozens of Democratic U.S. Senators on Wednesday introduced a resolution calling for Environmental Protection Agency chief Scott Pruitt to resign on allegations of ethics lapses. Those relate to the agency’s purchase of a $43,000 sound booth for his office and spending on travel and security. The resolution was signed by 39 senators in the 100-member Senate, which is controlled by Pruitt’s fellow Republicans. Although Republicans can defeat it, the resolution is symbolically important because it represents the most senators ever to call for a Cabinet member’s ouster in resolution, its sponsors said.

“If the Trumps were Democrats,” conservative actor James Woods tweeted earlier this month, “Melania would be on every cover of every chic women’s magazine in the world every month.” Woods may be exaggerating a little bit — only Oprah can put herself on the cover of a magazine every month, and it’s her own magazine — but he does make an interesting point. First Lady Melania Trump has not graced the cover of a single magazine in the United States since her husband took office over a year ago. Michelle Obama, on the other hand, was featured on at least thirty

University of Michigan Professor Sarah Ensor published an academic journal article this month that argues that humans should establish erotic relationships with plants. Ensor, an English professor at the University of Michigan, begins by citing the “Ecosex Manifesto,” which

The House Committee on Agriculture approved by voice vote an amendment to the farm bill Wednesday that would make all sales of domesticated canines and felines illegal, Politico reported. “Adopting this policy signals that the United States will not tolerate the disturbing practice in our country,” California Republican Rep. Jeff Denham said in a statement as he introduced the amendment. Some believed the ban unnecessary, as eating dogs and cats is rare in the

President Donald Trump’s tax cuts will be anything but for about 1 million California taxpayers who will owe Uncle Sam more money a year from now. They’re the Californians who will lose a collective $12 billion because the new law caps a deduction they have been able to take for paying their state and local taxes, according to a new analysis by the Franchise Tax Board.
