Obama Staffer: Facebook Knew
Presidential Campaign Improperly
Seized Data, Looked the Other Way

Facebook is embroiled in a political controversy over the manner its social data was utilized by the Trump campaign, but a former Obama campaign staffer argues the social media company has been allowing this type of behavior since at least 2012. The social media giant is being lambasted for failing to verify that data from an estimated 50 million users was deleted by the Steve Bannon-led firm, Cambridge Analytica. However, a former Obama campaign staffer has come forward to claim that Facebook turned a blind eye to the same issue in 2012. Carol Davidsen, former director of Obama for America’s

Of course they did!! This BS about Cambridge Analytica that the leftists are all enraged about is just outrageous. Rush has been ranting about this for a couple of hours about the hypocrisy of those jerks on the left. He is so right. The former CEO, Eric Schmidt, of Google practically lived at Obama´s White House. You know they utilized everything they could from Google and Facebook. The only reason this is brought up is because it´s related to Trump.

Contd. Nothing confirms more the hypocrisy of Facebook complaining about Cambridge Analytica than the link to the video below. It is from that insane moron Maxine Waters who glowingly bragged that Obama would have an extensive database that he could use.  Cambridge Analytica did absolutely nothing wrong and did what every other political party has done to get data.

I hate Facebook and am not on it. My dear sister and I have disagreements about it. She has always been a huuuge fan. I have refused for years to have any family photos taken that I know she would post on Facebook. I don´t trust Facebook in how they could use the data or photos from any of the postings.

Cambridge Analytica first came to our attention when Robert Mercer bought an interest in it so that he could employ its services as part of the Ted Cruz campaign’s vaunted “psychological profiling”.

Some here were offended when they did the little Ted Cruz polls at Breitbart (also a Mercer investment at that time) and other Conservative sites only to find out that they were suddenly receiving donation requests from the Cruz campaign in their email inboxes. (The polls, which even featured Cruz’s photo, required the pollee to indicate his email address in order to participate.)

When Mercer dumped Cruz for cause, and moved his support to Donald Trump, it may be that the Cambridge Analytica data came to that campaign.

If Facebook was used by Cambridge Analytica, it started off in the Cruz campaign.

If you are really curious about CA and its intersection with Facebook, this Wiki article is really quite thorough. Skip anything you see that might be editorialization. The historical information is very interesting.

Anything perceived to be a misdeed should not be hung on the Trump campaign, but that’s where the kneejerk deep state media goes with this stuff...

All social media is a intelligence spy operation.
Cambridge Analytica did do something illegal, but Facebook let them get away with it. if you took a poll or survey and gave them access to your profile, they could go into the profiles of any of your "friends". The data was supposed to only be used for Educational research.

In 2015, the Association of American Medical Colleges revised the Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT) for the first time in nearly 25 years, stretching the full exam-day experience from around five hours to eight or more. The test drew attention at the time for its sheer length; less widely noted was the explicitly ideological bent of the new exam. President Trump blasted the United States’ birthright citizenship policy whereby the U.S.-born children of illegal aliens are given automatic American citizenship, noting that illegal aliens are “violating a border.” During a roundtable discussion in West Virginia, Trump slammed the birthright citizenship policy — illegal aliens’ children are commonly referred to as “anchor babies” — noting that fellow Western nations do not have such a policy. Trump said: If you have a baby on our land, congratulations. That baby is a United States citizen. We’re the only one. Now Mexico has very tough policies. They can do whatever they want, which is

Gas prices have been so low in recent years that more Americans are choosing to buy bigger vehicles, a trend that has stymied efforts to cut auto emissions. One thing reining in consumer appetite for trucks and SUVs has been tough fuel economy standards adopted several years ago by California and the Obama administration. Those rules are forcing automakers to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and put cleaner, more efficient gas, hybrid and electric vehicles in showrooms, whether customers want them or not.
