FBI disciplinary office recommends firing
former deputy director Andrew McCabe

Washington Post, by Matt Zapotosky

The FBI office that handles employee discipline has recommended firing the bureau’s former deputy director over allegations that he authorized the disclosure of sensitive information to a reporter and misled investigators when asked about it — though Justice Department officials are still reviewing the matter and have not come to a final decision, a person familiar with the case said. The recommendation from the FBI’s Office of Professional Responsibility is likely to add fuel to the political fire surrounding former deputy director Andrew McCabe, who abruptly stepped down from his post earlier this year but technically remained an FBI employee. McCabe was

For what it´s worth I´m on board! You can´t let the tardiness of discovering terminable offenses become relevant. You get away with it because we didn´t catch you until doing the right thing looks bad?

Nope, send him right down to HR to....oh shizzle that´s a problem.

This will define where Sessions stands.

From CTH: An OPR recommendation for disciplinary firing puts AG Jeff Sessions into a box; he has two options: Option #1 is fire McCabe. Option #2 is set aside the OPR ruling and allow McCabe to retire. Sessions has to take one of those two actions.

He gets full benefits at age 49?? When did he start, at 19?? Any normal pension plan requires you put in 30 years for full benefits. I am sure it is a six figure income plus full health care etc for life. After all, he slaved as an impoverished federal employee for all those years and did not have to pay into social security.

Fire Him!!

Re #16 - Calculations for federal employees pensions are not the same as in the private sector. Plus McCabe was in a law enforcement position and they have mandatory retirement at a certain age with a required number of years - usually 25 years of service.

This will be a bellwether test, to see if the FBI will correct, determine if they are interested in rehabbing their reputation. It will also show whether Mr Sessions is going to give the DC swamp cover for illegal/dishonorable acts. If Mr Sessions does not fire him, it will just be another feather in the hat that the FBI is no longer a respectable and worthy institution, just a tool of socialists. One of the above posters is probably correct, they will probably drag their feet and act like they forgot about firing McGoob, woops-McCabe, in a timely manner, before pension kicks in.

I doubt the DOJ will do it. I expect that McCabe has enough dirt on both departments and their plot to bring the President down that the contemptible Sessions will come up with some mealy mouthed excuse and McCabe will walk with all the money coming to him.

Former Republican congressman and non-interventionist advocate Ron Paul praised President Trump’s summit in Helsinki, Finland with Russian President Vladimir Putin, saying he believes the president “won.” In comments after Trump and Putin wrapped up a press conference together, Paul said he was “delighted” to see the two power players speaking while noting that the interventionist wings of the Democratic and Republican parties — commonly referred to as “neoconservatives” — are outraged by the meeting. President Donald Trump scored a diplomatic win on Monday at his summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Helsinki, Finland. The media, the Democrats, and the Never Trump contingent declared immediately that Trump had failed. But they were bitterly prejudiced against the meeting from the start, to the point where many insisted that Trump cancel it. To them, looking at the summit through the lens of “collusion,” the summit could only be the ultimate payoff for Putin’s election meddling in 2016. But viewed through the lens of diplomacy, the summit was a milestone in U.S.-Russia relations. Judging from their remarks at the press conference

Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s (D-MA) doesn’t resonate outside of the Boston suburbs. And Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), well, she’s working hard to boost her profile, but she’s running aground with the Bernie crowd. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) could run again, but his age—and the

Multiple family members confirmed that he had 43 children. Hearring was a long-time resident there and well-known in the neighborhood. "He was the nicest man you´d ever want to meet. I don´t get it. All this killing is so senseless and now they are targeting the elderly," said Gwen Bridgeforth, his daughter-in-law.
