Special Election–Democrat Lamb leads

The Pensylvania 18th District Special Election was held on Tuesday. The contest puts pretend moderate Conor Lamb, who is running as a conservative, against conservative Republican Rick Saccone. (Photo) Saccone is an Air Force veteran. President Trump campaigned for Saccone on Saturday in a rousing campaign speech. Lamb is an energetic, young, attractive Democrat pretending to be conservative. Saccone is a true conservative but lacks the charisma of the younger Democrat. Democrats in Middle America ALWAYS run as moderates and then get to Washington and vote with Nancy Pelosi at least 80% of the time. Conor Lamb currently leads Rick

We have a serious problem. This race is a draw and whoever gets it has dittly squat to do with the balance of power. But, this is a R+11 District. If all we can do is pull a draw in a PVI R+11, we are screwed. We need a plan. We need a message. We have a dream economy because of policies that are wildly popular and we are getting trounced? Enough with petulant tweeting. The negative press is working and we need a “Contract With America” style cohesive campaign to counter it.... starting now!

There´s always going to be a fringe element in any vote. I´m surprised here it´s only 1%. Better question: Why can´t Republicans field, recruit, groom and present appealing candidates? The RNC could easily raise money by selling clothespins. Man, we have some stinkers on the ballots.

This shows the need to indict Mueller now and end the witch hunt. He intends to issue all sorts of bogus indictments against Trump et. al. right before the election when there is no time to disprove them. If the Dems get control of the country once more they will NEVER ever let it slip from their red, grasping fingers ever again.

Not valid after election day.

Not valid within DC Beltway.

The liberal media all along has been touting that Lamb is a Marine. While you never heard anything about Saccone being a veteran until the other day when he admitted that he was in the Air Force for 17 years.

Obviously the Republicans have a big time communications problem and had better get that fixed by the midterms, as they cannot depend on Fox News Channel to carry their water, as the Fox News Channel, in reality, gives about half their on air time to Democrats.

President Trump is proposing that the death penalty be used for drug-traffickers. Most of the reporting I have seen presents that as a controversial, radical, dictatorial proposal. Here is one example from CNN: The speech looked to balance the President´s controversial calls for the federal government to get tougher on drug crimes with less heated proposals for increased federal funding to combat the opioid epidemic through ad campaigns and health programs. But his call for the death penalty immediately drew condemnation from treatment advocates, law enforcement officials and civil liberty organizations.Jesselyn McCurdy, deputy director of the American Civil Liberties Union´s Washington
