John McCain slams Trump´s nominee for

Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., is demanding President Trump’s CIA director nominee, Gina Haspel, clarify her position on torture because she participated in “one of the darkest chapters in American history.” Haspel, who has been with the CIA since 1985, has come under fire for her involvement concerning waterboarding and other interrogation methods that detainees at a covert CIA prison in Thailand were subjected to in 2002. “The torture of detainees in U.S. custody during the last decade was one of the darkest chapters in American history,” McCain, who was tortured during the Vietnam War, said in a statement Tuesday. “Ms. Haspel needs

That was one of darkest chapters in American history? Sorry, waterboarding terrorists doesn´t bother me in the least, especially since our own soldiers have to experience it. He of all people should know full well that waterboarding is not torture. It appears that the reprehensible McCain is still well enough for quick responses to bash the new appointment. Is McCain actually the one making comments? You have to really wonder.

Contd. I´m sick of hearing from that hateful, bitter old fool. In case he hasn´t noticed we are in a pretty dark period in our history considering the horrific behavior of those in the Obama regime, the FBI, DOJ, Clinton, et al. He has been silent related to any criticism of Clinton and the rest of them. Oh that´s right, he was instrumental of starting it all. Oh how I despise him.

Defending your country is not a dark chapter in American history. Thank you Gina Haspel for doing your job, putting America first, ahead of terrorists and evil. The left, including McCain, same thing, is always ready to defend evil, never Americans, never have heard from them about that.

I wish I were coaching this lady for her grilling. I would advise her to say, after being questioned by McPain, "I am sorry to learn, Senator, that saving American lives is not your top priority."

Maybe then he would finally pop his cork, croak on the spot and be "unavailable" to vote against her confirmation.

The darkest chapter in our recent history is the fact that McCain, Kerry and Hanoi Jane escaped prosecution for their parts in the deaths of many good men. From the Forrestal where over 134 men burned to death, to the POW´s who died in there camps thanks to the interference of Kerry and Fonda.

To cap it all off, McCain is having a great time at his terrorist photo op in Syria. Where his diplomatic cover probably armed those same terrorists.

Now that is a dark chapter with a vulgarian´s name all over it. Not talking Obama either.
