The Real Collusion Story
National Review, by Michael Doran

Original Article

Posted By:sagman, 3/13/2018 4:42:08 PM

Barack Obama keeps a close watch on his emotions. “I loved Spock,” he wrote in February 2015 in a presidential statement eulogizing Leonard Nimoy. Growing up in Hawaii, the young man who would later be called “No-Drama Obama” felt a special affinity for the Vulcan first officer of the U.S.S. Enterprise. “Long before being nerdy was cool, there was Leonard Nimoy,” the eulogy continued. “Leonard was Spock. Cool, logical, big-eared and level-headed.” It is the rare occasion when Obama lets his Spock mask slip. But November 2, 2016, was just such a moment.

Surprised nobody´s posted this yet. It is a long--very long--summary/analysis of the "collusion" story´s origins to the present day. I´ve followed this pretty closely but Doran surprised me often with details I hadn´t come across and a bunch of interesting takes. However well-informed you are about the whole business, you will learn things you didn´t know. I´ll say this: those invested in the collusion fiction will never read this piece.

OP, long time no see. Glad to see you´re still around. And this is exactly the type of article I would expect to see you post, but prefer your crisp mini-screenplays to this epic documentary.

Very long and I won´t claim that I read every word of it but one staggering reality in this summation is that NONE of this epic deception is based on any facts or true concern for this Country. It is a construction with a singular political purpose, to prevent Trump from being elected president. Some of the players actually wanted Hillary to be President but some were just anti Trump and Hillary was the only alternative. BO, ever the egoist, wanted to protect his legacy and Hillary was the only alternative. Some got pulled in through political pressure and their own egos. But once they were committed, they also realized that Trump´s election would be dangerous to their careers.

This shows the deep corruption of dems, federal bureaucracy, media, world stage actors, and others. None of these people had a valid reason to oppose Trump to this level of obsession beyond their personal delusions. Trump called for the restoration of policies that have been in place and worked well for many decades prior to the last 15 to 20 years. There was no intrinsic threat to the nation in this.

Yet, they did what they did because they wanted to and they could.

Well said, #2.

Yep, still around #1.

Regarding those little "screenplays," the muse left the building some time ago upon discovering that the left is doing a fine job of making itself a laughingstock without her assistance.

A long but very interesting article. Well worth the time. It reads like a great spy novel, however, it is much scarier when you realize what might have happened if they were successful.

They won´t give up. We must remain vigilant.

Problem is, if you tried to sell this as a spy novel, you´d never be able to sell it a publisher.

Very long article indeed but a superb précis of the deep state and democrat and media collusion and corruption. I particularly liked “...the Mueller probe is the cover-up.” The question for many is ‘do I admit to skulduggery or to being duped?’ as the truth emerges. The bottom line is that they tried to frame Page and Trump... and failed.

FTA: “The FBI, therefore, carried out a campaign of innuendo against Donald Trump in September. And the Obama administration placed him under investigation in October, if not earlier. The Obama administration framed Donald Trump.”

Took me 2 hours. It was more than worth the investment of time. Finally, a meaty full-length piece that weaves together the relationships and time lines from the birth of the Russian collusion fantasy to the present. Detailed and told in an engaging and entertaining manner.

Thank you, Sagman, for bringing this gem to light.

No one following the Russian-collusion and related dramas should be in any doubt about the steady flow of the balance of damaging evidence away from Trump and on to his accusers. It is clear that the hierarchy of the FBI and analogues in the Justice Department and intelligence services, horrified at the thought of a Trump victory though confident it would not occur, took liberties — in the soft treatment of Hillary Clinton’s email and uranium problems, and in abetting the Clinton campaign’s effort to smear Trump with the Russian-collusion argument.

It´s mid-February and the flu patients keep coming. Flu vaccine and screening supplies are becoming scarce at the Findlay, Ohio, medical practice where family nurse practitioner Gina Vaughn sees her patients. The influx continues as the infection spreads. "The flu season has just gotten out of control because people are not staying home," she laments. "They´re not using common sense." Slogging through the flu is miserable enough. If you try to tough it out at the workplace or power through in public, you´re not doing yourself – or anyone else – a favor.

Monday on Fox News Channel’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” host Tucker Carlson opened his show by slamming congressional Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee for those questioning the merits of their investigation into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. Carlson referred to Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), the ranking Democrat on the House Intel Committee, and Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), another member of that committee and called those attacks “McCarthyite.”

After a year of relentless attacks from the press — 90 percent negative coverage from the networks, according to Media Research Center, three times worse than Obama´s coverage, according to Pew — Donald Trump´s poll numbers are rising. That probably seems like a paradox if you live in mid-town Manhattan where virtually every major news source is headquartered. But if you live somewhere else — like the real world — the reason is obvious: reality has a voice. I´ll tell you what I mean. I was a liberal once.

The House Intelligence Committee memo is pretty simple. It should not have been classified and thus far withheld from the public. In fact, far more information now needs to be released. Despite the outcry, as Chairman Devin Nunes clarified, the memo can easily be in the near future supported or refuted by adducing official documents. In other words, the memo makes a series of transparent statements and leaves it up to the criminal-justice system and the public to ascertain subsequent criminal liability. It is likely that the basic accuracy of the document will not be questioned, but rather opponents, some of them mentioned in the memo, will either ask why the resulting embarrassing information needed to be aired or insist

The Left loves to sneer at the notion of a strong wall between the United States and the illegal infiltrators coming across the southern border from Mexico. [Snip] At this point in the Trump presidency, wouldn´t it be smarter for the Resistance Party to stop walking into door jambs, stepping on rakes, and tying their own shoelaces together? Officials in a Minneapolis school district are trying to figure out why black students are suspended three times more often than their white peers, according to a Sunday report. Black students have a 338 percent higher chance than white students to be suspended at Justice Page Middle School in Minneapolis, Minn., according to The New York Times. Black students make up 41 percent of the Minneapolis school district’s student body, but 76 percent of its suspensions. The black students constantly tell the principal, “The teacher only sees me,” Justice Page Principal Erin Rathke said. She responds, “Yes, that’s probably true.”

SAN FRANCISCO — A woman in Tempe, Ariz., died after being hit by a self-driving car operated by Uber, in what appears to be the first known death of a pedestrian struck by an autonomous vehicle on public roads. The Uber vehicle was in autonomous mode with a human safety driver at the wheel when it struck the woman, who was crossing the street outside of a crosswalk, the Tempe police said in a statement. The episode occurred overnight, although the authorities did not specify whether it was late Sunday or early Monday. The woman was not publicly identified. An

James Kallstrom is no joke. With nearly thirty years in the FBI, several of them as the Assistant Director, Kallstrom knows how the agency functions far more than most. So when he says there was a plot to protect Hillary Clinton from prosecution and to illegally influence the 2016 Election people should pay attention. Kallstrom goes on to call the entirety of the FBI investigation against Donald Trump completely phony. Maria Bartiromo’s own take appears very much to compliment Mr. Kallstrom’s assertions. The Deep State shenanigans run very deep and in 2016 are linked to the Obama White House. Barack Obama

President Trump says he didn´t collude with Russia in 2016, promising something to a foreign country in exchange for his installation as president. That seems increasingly likely to prove true. Where they do not spring from simple malignancy, critics’ arguments that Trump used Russian intervention to win the election are mostly an excuse to avoid the plain truth that Hillary Clinton deservedly lost because she was an awful candidate. And the country is better for that result. We aren’t persuaded, either, that the Russians’ paltry $100,000 in Facebook spending had anything to do with Trump’s win, given that very little of it

On Saturday, Donald Trump did something he’d never done before, something his closest advisers had warned him not to do: He tweeted Robert Mueller’s name. But what seemed like a frantic, even panicked, bit of late-night lashing-out is actually a sign of things to come. Multiple aides and Trump confidants tell The Daily Beast that they believe this will not be the last time the president goes after the Justice Department special counsel on his frenetic Twitter feed. And that’s making some of them nervous. The president, those close to him say, is determined to more directly confront the federal probe into
